We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was clean, well-maintained, and offered a beautiful view of the hills, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The host was warm, welcoming, and ensured we were comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful recommendations for places to visit in Ooty and Coonoor, as well as cafés and restaurants to try. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would highly recommend this property.

The property is located a little away from Ooty town, which adds to its peaceful charm. However, do keep in mind that food options nearby can be limited at night, so it’s a good idea to plan dinner in advance.

This property was so far the best I have ever visited. You will meet the cutest, sweetest host there - Ronald!! He was sooooo generous, helpful throughout. The day we visited he suggested a very good place for dinner and even asked the operations manager there to take a good care of us!! Location wise the property is situated amidst the scenic beauty of ketty which is very close to ooty. Away from the chaos, you will find peace here. You will homely here! And what a breakfast they fed!!Tastiest dosas and idlis with varieties of chutney!! My suggestion? Please do pay a visit at this property if you want your stay to be a memorable one!! The property is situated in a secure and well maintained space and benefits from being within the Laidlaw School zone. Mr.Ronald is warm and caring. The overall hygiene is good and the owner has puts in good effort to maintain it that way! If you are looking for a no nonsense place with a decent view of the valleys, Narmada is the place to be. Pro tip: Make sure you have Dose for breakfast

Lovely property in serene surroundings

Franchement tout : la maison, la propreté, le petit déjeuner, le confort du lit et de la salle de bain avec l’eau chaude et surtout la gentillesse de Selvi et la disponibilité de Ronald. Il fait tout pour arranger les situations. Par exemple il m’a trouvé un Guide de trek très professionnel Rajiv avec lequel j’ai pu visiter sa tribu Toda. J’allais oublier la gare de Ketti, à distance de marche, par laquelle passe le Toy Train.

Il faut juste être avisé que la maison est en pleine nature, donc un peu isolée mais que Ronald se fait toujours une joie de vous conduire où vous voulez quand il le peut.

A very peaceful and nice guesthouse in a beautiful location in the hills within walking distance of Ketti station. Owner Ronald is a great host, very helpful and will do anything to accommodate you and make your stay comfortable even dropping us to a restaurant. We slept wonderful in this peaceful place, so quiet and relaxed. The staff is also great and breakfast was very good. Thank you for your hospitality!

Ronald, the amazing owner, made us feel at home instantly with his warmth and kindness. He served us a delicious homemade breakfast every morning and personally guided us to some of the best restaurants and scenic spots in Ooty and Coonoor. The homestay itself was cosy, comfortable, and filled with an authentic vibe that made our stay truly memorable.

The host is extremely friendly, the rooms are very clean, the breakfast is delicious and plentiful.We arrived on our motorbikes in the rain and fog, soaked and cold. Since the accommodation does not have air conditioning, they provided us with a small heater to keep us warm and dry our clothes.

Property was amazing, away from the city and we had really nice time during our stay. Host Ronald made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. Would love to visit and stay here again.

Its away from city but we knew that beforehand the booking and had our own personal vehicle to commute.

We had an incredible stay! We’ve stayed in 10 different places so far in our travels across India and this was by far the best! The hospitality was amazing, Ronald helped us with planning our trip to see the best sights in the area, got us the best and safest drivers (which was important to us) and showed us the nicest places to eat. The home itself is clean, comfortable and in a great location. The two ladies who work at the home were amazing too - cooking us the best breakfast and making us feel at home. We would love to come back!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying here! The staff were great, and so was the property! Since it was away from the city, there was plenty of natural beauty and places to go for cozy evening walks. But the highlight of the stay was definitely the breakfast (as everyone says)! My sister and I, who rarely eat breakfast, woke up excited for the food every day. If not for the beautiful property, go for the good South Indian food; you won't regret it!

The Homestay is located on a very private road, so we didn't need to worry about safety and privacy. The location us quiet and pleasant. The owner and staff looked after us very well. We were provided breakfast on both days that we were here. The house was clean and our room was cozy and comfortable. We had great hot water in the morning for our shower.

Location wise it's an excellent place to stay, Just 5 mins walk from the beautiful Ketti Mountain Railway Station...nice to be at station and enjoy watching toy trains passing by. Ronald was a very welcoming and kind host. He took good care of us during our entire trip. Made arrangements and helped us plan our itinerary and gave us suggestions on what to try and visit during our stay. Ronald served us piping hot, home-cooked breakfast, that made us look forward to our breakfast every day and kept us fueled for our adventures!

Would give 20 stars if I could! Host Mr Ronald is super - takes care of everything with two polite housekeeping ladies. Location is superb. It's a villa in a private gated community. Very safe and calming silence except for pleasant tinkling cowbell from the cow grazing in the meadow next door. Occasional toot of the heritage narrow gauge train that runs in nearby mountains during the day a few times. There's a fully equipped kitchen, so you can make infant's special meals if you bring a kid. Lunch/dinner isn't served (it's a bed & breakfast) but you can order in food.

It's a little far from transport if you don't drive there. (There's parking for 3/4 cars if you do, which is often not the case in this area). We didn't drive, but this wasn't a problem for our 3-day trip. Mr. Ronald connected us with a reliable hired car to pick up from Coimbatore airport and when we wanted to go out. Otherwise, walking along the train tracks through the pine forest is fun too. Else just laze around in the quietude we city people crave.

Selladurai Sir is an amazing host. Property is at a beautiful location. Breakfast is amazing and rooms are cute and clean.

It was really like staying at a relative's house, Uncle was so warm and welcoming. He made us feel very safe and comfortable, even though we were the only people staying there at the time. We will definitely visit again when staying in Ooty.

It was lovely. The host Mr. Selladurai looks after the place as his home and is extremely welcoming and accommodating. Even though our arrival was of short notice he arranged a temporary room to freshen up and prepared a comfortable room for us promptly. Had a safe, secure and comfortable stay. He went out of his way to make sure we left with breakfast, even if it was very early that we decided to leave to beat traffic the next day. Would visit again happily.

We loved everything about the property. We felt it like our second home in nilgiri valley. Our host was extremely responsible and affectionate. He even dropped us to Ketti railway station .😊

The owner was so friendly in nature. Even before we reached the place, the owner guided us to take the shortest route. He was in touch right from the time we started from Bangalore. During the stay we were 3 couples We occupied all the 3 rooms which were on the first floor. All of the rooms have attached bathrooms and a common balcony. All the rooms including the bathrooms were very clean along with new bedsheets and towels. Even the cupboards have given us a vintage vibe. There was hot water available in the bathrooms. We had breakfast for two days during the stay. The breakfast was too good. Trust me you will love it. The chutneys stole the show. The coffee and the team were on point . They have a dining kitchen(we used it for boiling the water and there is an oven for us to heat the food that we brought from outside).There was a refrigerator as well,you can use everything after letting the owner know. On the 31st, we played catan in their spacious living room. The owner was so kind to pack us breakfast on those two days,since we started for the ooty train and morning location viewing. He even arranged for a driver from us to drop at Coonoor and again pick us up at Oooty railway station for a reasonable price. Overall I and my cousins were more than pleased with the stay at the Narmada Holiday home. Whenever we visit Ooty again,we are definitely going to book here only and also recommend to any of our family members or friends to stay. Thank you

Beautiful homestay in a peaceful location. Immaculately clean with beautiful views of the valley and delicious home cooked breakfast. We really enjoyed staying with Ronald and Sheila who made sure everything was good for us, including finding us a safe driver for four days. They also helped us plan our sightseeing trips in the local area and even took us to the local village to meet their parents. We would highly recommend for those looking to come to the Nilgiris hills, in particular foreign travellers who want to understand local culture and relax in the countryside. The WiFi was good enough to do some work calls which came up, which was helpful. Perfect English spoken. We enjoyed tea tasting at Tranquilitee and recommend Cafe Diem for lunch, an organic vegetarian cafe with a stunning view.

One of the best properties I've seen in Ooty. The house is situated in the midst of lush green land. It's a spacious 4 BHK property with kitchen. The owners are extremely friendly people. Very welcoming and humble. We loved their hospitality and the way they catered to our needs. I would definitely visit the property again and would definitely recommend as well.

Transportation and getting around can get bit costly if you are not traveling with your own car.

What I'm about to say will definitely take expectations to a whole different level, but it's true that the place and its Hosts are truly amazing.. the place is extremely comfy and cozy and the food that they cook is really really good. You can expect to feel extremely satisfied and happy after having a trip to Ooty and staying here.

I would likely appreciate the serene environment, the breathtaking views of the Nilgiri hills, the cool and pleasant climate, and the charming and cozy ambiance of the cottage. The opportunity to enjoy nature, relax in a tranquil setting, and experience the local culture and cuisine would also be highlights.

Limited access to power and hot water.

This beautiful homestay tucked away in the lap of Ketti Valley made our trip to Nilgiris exceptionally memorable. The stay was comfortable as the host was very helpful and generous. The dosas & puris served in the breakfast can transport anyone to a delectable ride, and oh the chutneys and curries were simply amazing. Waking up to such a picturesque green wonderland is a luxury to us city-dwellers where grey skies fill in for the morning glory, so we filtered it in our camera roll reminding us the roaring winds of the Nilgiris.

The location is very beautiful and very spectacular path and view.The owner himself is a very amazing person, he is very helpful and especially the breakfast he serves with so much love.He is always ready to help and is always in touch from the day you book. You can directly reach out to him on phone if you don't wish to book from a platform.

Everything is good about the place and homestay but the only thing which is not good is there are very less option for vegetarians for dinner even on zomato.also for delivery of food, you need to be much early as all the shops get closed.If you have dinner at 9 or after that then you need to drive to the shops in the main city.

The owner is very humble and ensures you have a comfortable stay. The breakfast was awesome and homely, and the stay was pleasant. This property is very close / walking distance to the Ketti Railway Station, and you can take a ride in toy train around Ooty during weekends when this operates. Further, the property is inside the premises of a gated and security manned road - so it's much better and secure.

Nothing particularly! Please note that you need to climb a few steps, in case you are older and stay on the first floor. As with any homestays, you need to respect the environment and limitations and not assume this is like any other commercial hotel. Be mindful and you will love staying here.

Roland was very helpful and accommodating or my meal requirements and that made my stay very smooth. He also generously drove me to some cafes on a day out. It's a simple and cozy homestay in a lovely quiet and green area. Definitely would recommend it.

The room given to us was very small and not clean.

Mr Robert, took care of us from the very moment I booked and even after the end of the stay. He welcomed us warmly into his B&B and we never felt out of our home. He took special care of my elderly parents. His recommendations for places to visit was spot on and food at the breakfast was amazing 👏.

Great location, our host Ronal Selladurai was phenomenal with his hospitality and organised a customised homely breakfast on each day of our stay.. the house has a personality of its own with his and his family's pics and it's a proper hoen stay experience.. I would highly recommend it..

The owner of the property is very kind and friendly and helpful person. He truly knows what hospitality is. We were supposed to check in at around 3 pm but due to delay in sight seeing we reached the property at around 6.30 pm. The owner was so concerned about us and had called 3 times in between to know our whereabouts. Not just that he helped us to plan so that we don't miss must see places, arranged transport within reasonable prices. The best thing was the delicious breakfast that they provide and feed just like family.

Every morning homemade fresh breakfast is provided, the host is very humble and kind, the rooms are extremely neat and clean almost picture perfect, security is very good the property is located on a private road, the location is excellent if you have your own vehicle but it can be a little costly to travel for sightseeing in ooty and around if you don't have personal vehicle.
