Ocean front cabin, really nicely decorated cabins. Really warm and responsive host Leah and Abe were excellent. Nicely located in St andrews 10 mins away from whale watching tours, lighthouse and downtown street where all restaurants are.

Noise proofing could be better. Was really uncomfortable with constant noise from unit above. Shower was really small but not bad.

The property is very quaint and beautiful. We enjoyed being on the quiet end of town, with a short and lovely walk to all the restaurants and shops.

I wish we had stayed longer!

2 bedroom unit was perfect, there was a double bed in one room, and another double bed with a single in the second bedroom. The living room had a double pull out sofa, and another single sofa that was as large as a single bed. Lots of space to sleep.

The max capacity of the unit was 5, even with 3 beds, a pull out couch and another couch. We were charged an additional fee for our 2nd child.

The location is incredible. The view is fantastic.

We were 5 at Harbourside #7…. 2 grandkids, 12 and 8, daughter and 2 grandparents… This place has everything you need to spend a great few days… outside games, cornhole, ladders, horseshoes, hammocks, etc. Abe and Leah have really thought of everything! Walkable to everything! Would def recommend and hope to go back next year!

We had the cutest little bungalow with a wonderful view of the bay. We loved it.

This was our second visit to this resort and it was as good as our first stay. St Andrews is a wonderful resort town and the Seaside Beach Resort has the perfect location. If your looking for shops our restaurants, they are a five minute walk away. There are many historic sites available within a short walking distance. If you want more of a nature walk, just turn right and you’re there in another 5 minutes walk. Don’t be surprised if you meet a deer or two. The rooms are more like little beach cottages. Very homey with knotty pine walls, a well supplied kitchen, a little living room, and a bed room. We had a smaller unit, however they have 2 bedroom units available. They have a board walk area along the ocean which is an ideal location to meet other guest. We even ran into a couple that we met last year. We live in Southern Maine and it’s an easy 4.5 hour drive for us. We will be returning next year, as most guest do.

We are visitors from England doing a 4 week tour of Atlantic Canada . We have stayed in many places during our trip and Seaside cottages has been one of our very favourites. The owners were so friendly ,interested in us, our trip etc, offering advice on places in the town we may wish to visit. Our room was small but perfectly fitted and comfortable, especially the shower cubicle, tiny bathroom but a great walk in shower area. Wish we had been staying longer than the one night but hope to return if we are back in the area.

very nice location direct at the estuary. at low tide you had direct access to walk out on the sea floor. The walk into the town was very easy and fast. plenty of shops, restaurants and grocery stores. There was a small grass area for relaxing and also plenty of grass games available for children to use. A laundry room was also available with two wash machines and 2 dryers

We loved the waterfront location and how close to everything it is. The owners are very personable and personally checked us in and made sure we were happy with our unit. Our stay was only for one night to see a play in town, but we've booked here again for two nights for our upcoming anniversary. We are very much looking forward to that time.

The owners Leah and Abe were the first welcoming features of our stay at this quaint resort. They present a caring and professional manner perfectly suited to the needs of their guests and can be quickly reached on the property to provide assistance anytime through the day. There are 25 cottage-like units contained within a cluster of multiple separate buildings, each with nicely finished interiors of clear wood and ceramic tiling, made bright and cheery by plenty of windows and quality furnishings. We experienced a studio and two bedroom unit, both of which were very clean, cozy and provided the basic amenities of a home with kitchens for cooking, comfy beds and quality bedding. There was also a porch on each which included cottage-style chairs and small tables. The property is ideally located along the main street of St. Andrews only a few blocks from the bustling village centre which offers an assortment of shoppes, cafés, and restaurants, a grocery and liquor store. The other areas nearby on the street side are quiet residential neighbourhoods. The resort's buildings sit on several acres of land running from the street to the oceanside, with well spaced parking, a large lawn, mature trees and flowering shrubs that attracted a variety of local songbirds. The seaside view is overlooked by a wide boardwalk, furnished with chairs and the cobbled beach can be accessed by stairs at one end. Several units have their own broad decks facing the shoreline. There are even a few outdoor family games - croquet, bean bag toss and horseshoes. For those seeking a maritime experience and interaction with the sea, the Seaside Beach Resort is ideal. Booking a studio apartment means a small kitchen. It was only a very small hotel room on the second floor. The common stairs were dangerous. The room and hallway were all wood, incredibly noisy. The worst bed I've ever tried to sleep on and ended up in a chair.

It had a lovely location next to the Bay of Fundy. The had ample chairs for you to enjoy the water. Looked like the had lots of activities for families. It was in walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The bed was very comfortable.

The beautiful view of the ocean was spectacular. When the tide went out you could walk on the beach for quite a ways. Unbelievable to watch it come in. Our place was on the water and loved sitting in the deck taking I the view. Short walking distance to town. Abe and Leah was great hosts and made us feel very welcome. Our place was clean, comfortable and well stocked with glasses, dishes, coffee machine and many other features like full fridge and stove. I would highly recommend this place.

I have stayed at Seaside Beach Resort every few years over the past 40 years (across multiple owners) and I was hoping that my return, with the new owners, would be a positive one. I had not visited since pre Covid and I worried if the magic had vanished. Well, I had a fabulous time. The location, the comfortable varied units, and the delightful, helpful, and pleasant owners, all contributed to a wonderful stay. Gabe and Leah, the current owneers, have embraced the resort with energy, enthusiasm, and a high degree of helpfulness. They, and their staff, take pride in maintaining a top notch home away from home. St. Andrews is such a glorious spot for a holiday and Seaside Beach positions you perfectly to enjoy everything on off

Saint Andrews, in my opinion, is always a perfect weekend or week‑long escape — any season, any weather. Sure, summer is the obvious prime time (mostly because everyone else is there), but we visit throughout the year and honestly… the off‑season has become my favourite. Maybe I’m getting old, but there’s something about the quiet charm that just hits different. We’ve stayed in a few places over the years, but because of the accommodations, the owners, the above‑and‑beyond service, and the overall “more than just a stay” experience, we keep coming back to Seaside. Travelling with the pup meant we were placed in Hopewell this time. Check‑in was seamless, and the spot exceeded expectations — clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you need for a perfect stay in St. Andrews. Our friends stayed in one of the cabins, so we got to check that out too. At this point, we’ve seen almost all the units, and honestly, every single one is great. Some even give you the chance to wake up overlooking the ocean. And with the boardwalk and all the seating, you can spend endless hours in the evening watching boats roll in. One thing I don’t remember from past stays — and something I always wish hotels and Airbnbs had — is a fan. This place had two. Perfection. The beds were extremely comfortable too. We stayed in early May, and the place was busier than expected, but as we walked back and forth between our unit and our friends’, the whole property was buzzing with laughter and good vibes. People were having fun. It felt like the unofficial kickoff to summer. Let the summer of 2026 begin.

This place is terrible - the male owner /front desk clerk is very unprofessional, rude and deceiving. Have a look at previous reviews and you will see few where the same thing is said. He leaves you without privacy , watching every step while you pay over $400 per night and the advertisement is deceiving . We asked for refund as nothing has met our expectations. The rooms are very small and make the stairs to unit are very narrow. This place is listed as on the beach yet that is not a reality, there is no access to the beach as listed on their website . Overpriced and deceiving.

Great little resort with very comfortable cabins that everything you need for a great vacation. Park your car and forget it, downtown is just a short walk away. Feel like staying in, I think almost all units have a full kitchen. Great sunsets on their private boardwalk. Grab your wine and meet your neighbors.

The location is quite nice near the water. The man, Abe, who welcomed us, was very pleasant.

The advertisement on Booking.com did not match the accommodation. It is advertised as two bedrooms but honestly it is one bedroom and a closet converted......the latter would have been fine for a child but not for an adult. The bathroom was very small and inside the only bedroom.There was no door on the only real bedroom which created no privacy. I would not recommend this place when there are alternatives. Sorry.

Personal meet 'n greet with Abe, coupled with a fabulous beachside location made this a winning choice. Although we stayed in a very small unit, it was well-laid out, and included everything (except an oven), which we didn't need. Lots of thought has been putting things in place to allow guests to enjoy the magnificent view, and beach access.

The double bed has guests rolling to the middle. Might be time to upgrade that mattress. Beyond that, we loved it and were sorry we hadn't booked in for longer.

After debating over various places to stay, my wife and I decided on Seaside Beach Resort. We wanted to be on the water and near downtown. As it turns out, this was a wonderful place to stay for our two nights visiting the city. Right off the start, Abe greeted us on a very rainy day as we pulled in. He checked us in remotely and even brought us the keys for our unit, Eastside. It was a cozy one bedroom unit right on the boardwalk. It had all the amenities you could ask for and was quite comfortable. The resort is a mere five minutes walk to the downtown, which we did several times to eat, tour and just enjoy the sights. It was also a very short walk to Pendlebury Lighthouse and if you are energetic, you can even walk to Kingsbrae Gardens in about twenty-five minutes. We loved our stay and are glad we were there for two nights. We spent a lot of time enjoying the harbour from the chairs on the boardwalk and caught every sunset. Abe and Leah were always about and were very helpful with advice about the area. They were also great just to chat to. Our stay here has been the highlight of our trip and we will return here in the future for a longer visit.

Beautiful spot to relax and soak in East Coast charm. We stayed in #4 Port. It is small but efficient and very comfortable for 2 adults. We only stayed 1 night but will book longer next time to relax and enjoy the views and hospitality!

This resort is in a perfect location, right on the water and a really easy walk to downtown. We didn’t plan on cooking, however the units have a well equipped kitchen area with all you need. The interiors are very homey with knotty pine walls and some ceilings which make them warm and cozy. The big common area on the water is great for meeting fellow travelers. Seems that most are repeat guest. We found the owners to be very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back again.

We paid over $700 for two nights expecting a beach resort, but what we found was far from advertised. The “beach access” was essentially impossible to swim in, and the view of the beach was obstructed. The main bedroom is directly connected to the kitchen without a door, and the bathroom is so cramped that you can’t even sit on the toilet without touching a wall (see photos). You will get 3 in 1 shampoo, shower gel and face wash with no toiletries . One of the pillows had a hair on it. AC is only in kitchen and doesn’t cool off the other bedrooms . WIFI has no connection and privacy is not existing. We raised all these concern with the front desk, but he was neither available nor willing to help. To make matters worse, we received a threatening text from him at check-out claiming we had more guests than allowed. There are many larger, nicer resorts in St. Andrews where guests are treated well and their business is appreciated. Save yourself the trouble and stay elsewhere.
