St Andrews Inn & Suites

Localisation est super directement sur water street et la vue des chambres avec chaises et balcon/espace c’est vraiment agréable et c’est le gros point fort de l’établissement. Les lits sont confortables, la litrerie également. La station café et la gentillesse de la dame anglaise à la réception.

Nous y avons effectué deux séjours cet été 2026. L’odeur de vieux tapis mouillé à l’entrée nous happe violemment à la réception , la vestuosité des équipements est flagrante, la piscine est vraiment dégoûtante, et les endroits communs ex: corridor. Les chambres sont propres sans plus. La vue sur l’eau est exceptionnelle mais cet endroit manque clairement d’amour. Il y a trop de meubles mal agencés et c’est chargé inutilementet dans les chambres. Le frigo qui coulait chambre 104. (09-2026) Lors de nos deux séjours, nous avons dû relancer à plusieurs reprises pour que la chambre soit faite et pour qu’on nous donne le bon nombre de serviettes.

The bed was not comfortable and the room was outdated.

The view from the balcony was outstanding. Absolutely beautiful! The shower was also good even though the shampoo and body wash dispensers were empty. There were several small bottles available under sink, but I had to leave shower to retrieve them. Also, the faucet is at the wrong end of the shower. You have to be actually in the shower before turning the water on and adjust water temperature.

Room decor was dreadful. Desk was worn out, one piece of "artwork" was hung too high and crooked. Coffee maker power cord didnt reach outlet and was filled with old water from who knows when. 2 chairs in room didnt match. Pillows were small and square and not fluffy. Beds were mediocre. TV needs an upgrade. Old fashioned cable box just dangling from wall. Needed 2 remotes to operate it. Hole in bathroom wall with tape over it. Plenty of dirt and hair behind toilet and beds. Lighting in room was horrendous. It would be great if surgery was being performed. Not warm at all. AC unit was loud. Could hear the units from other rooms. Plain only doughnuts available for breakfast were inedible.

Jerry at the Check-in was Extremely Upbeat and friendly. Plus the 2 other gentlemen during the PM shift were SUPER Friendly and even went to get ice for me upstairs due to my sprained-ankle.

Hôtel idéalement situé, personnel agréable, chambre offrant une vue sur la mer. Nous avons eu une chambre au rez-de-chaussée avec une porte permettant de sortir sur une terrasse ouverte avec des chaises permettant de profiter de la vue et du coucher de soleil. Petit point négatif concernant cette terrasse, toutes les chambres au même niveau avaient le même accès et il y avait donc pas mal de passage.

Chambre pas propre : des crasses étaient toujours présentes sous le bureau et, comme nous marchions à pieds nus dans la chambre, la plante de nos pieds nous montrait aussi que le sol n'était pas des mieux lavé. Il est dommage de ne pas pouvoir prendre le petit-déjeuner à l'hôtel. La piscine disponible ne semblait pas très entretenue non plus et ne donnait pas trop envie d'y aller.

Location and view are amazing. The staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Could see they have updated various parts of the room but not everything yet. Pool had a great view a little worn but clean!

Parking is limited on site but there were options for free parking on the road. Walkout area needs a few repairs.

What a fantastic hotel. It's a short walk to downtown shopping and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We had a flickering light bulb in the bathroom and it was fixed immediately. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with a well equipped bathroom plus a coffee maker and ice maker. The view from the balcony over the bay is beautiful. We caught a lovely sunset and sunrise over the water. Complementary coffee, tea, donuts and yogurt available in the lobby in the morning. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The towels could be a bit better quality

The location can’t be beat. The sunsets are incredible and one can walk right out the door to all the shops, restaurants, etc. The view from each room is breathtaking. The donuts and yogurt in the morning are delicious. We had a garden walk out which the kids enjoyed at sunset.

The floor in our room was filthy. My feet were black. We have a baby and her knees, hands and socks were too. It was gross. There was small black curly hair on the bathroom floor, in the shower and even in the vanity drawers. They give you one roll of TP at a time; there are no extras so beware and plan well. One has to request for pool towels, so we had to leave the pool and go call as I couldn’t find a phone in the pool area. The pool was cloudy and freezing cold, and the pool deck was filthy with dirt spots. We used the pool area for about 3 mins and only 1 of us went in because of the temp but that family member couldn’t stay in for longer than a couple mins because it was so cold. While they graciously assisted me with luggage at check-in, I was on my own at checkout, which was expected, but there are stairs and no elevator nor cart. So I made 4 trips to my car by myself and it took probably 45-60 mins for me to pack my car as a result. I could have walked each piece of luggage around and skipped the stairs but it would have taken longer and my luggage would have been wet and dirty. The bathrooms have been updated, but the floors and shower are quite slippery with no bars or shelves to put your things. My daughter actually slipped and fell and hurt herself. I stayed here about 5 years ago and I get the feeling it has changed management, although I could be wrong, it was a very different experience from my first. We’ve stayed at other places in town during our last few visits (we come every year), & sadly I will be reluctant to rebook.

It was wonderful to be able to grab a coffee, and yogurt in the morning, the doughnuts were delicious!

The location is perfect. I loved the balcony with the beautiful view They had very comfortable Adirondack chairs.

It is a bit outdated. Although the rooms have been renovated . The 2 room chairs could use new cushions.

There were 2 giant wicker chairs in the room with stained cushions that looked like they had been in someone’s house for 35 years. Absolutely did not sit on them. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned….at all. I used a face cloth and a bar of soap to clean urine from around the baseof the toilet and surrounding area….had I been staying more than 1 night I would have called them to clean it. Needless to say I was uninterested in using the shower. Lastly they put out complimentary plain donuts individually wrapped in sandwich type plastic bags(???) Why not just put out boxes as Tim Hortons is 3 minutes away?

I felt the furniture was a little cheap looking given the price of our stay.. the room was a good size but I’d recommend a handyman to keep the furniture and trim in better shape.. lots of scrapes on furniture which could easily be covered up to keep everything looking fresh.. outside window trims need some work to keep everything looking in top shape.

Situation to Main Street

This is a great spot, with very friendly and accommodating staff! Our room was on the ground level in the back, so we were on the coast. We had a great view. There is a "yard" there where our kids could play. The room had laminate flooring, which is much better than carpet. We will stay here again. The town is beautiful. The trip was well worth it.

The water view, and bathroom. Pool was spacious and with a large windows looking out to the water. Located at a perfect location with multiple restaurants a very short walk away.

Parking was a bit difficult, but understandable due to the location.

I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. When I booked, I thought I was just booking a regular room but ended up with a full-size refrigerator and a full-size stove. We really didn’t utilize them except for one night, but it was really nice to have them available. There was a sitting area plus the two beds, two different TVs a wonderful patio right off the room. The views were spectacular and if you had a person with mobility issues, you could walk across the lawn and up the side to the parking lot instead of doing using the stairs. Finally we used the pool on our last night there and was really surprised to find out that it wasn’t bathwater warm. It was nice and cool and refreshing. I was in a room that I believe had been newly renovated and the only thing I would say is it needs to have hooks or some kind of place to hang jackets or dry towels. All the staff was wonderful and so friendly and the location was absolutely phenomenal.

Pas grand-chose. Après nous avoir demandé si on avait réservé avec Booking, on nous a upgradé pour une suite 2 lits queen standard au lieu d'une chambre standard 2 lits queen. On a pensé que c'était une bonne nouvelle. Oh que non! La vue et l'emplacement sont bien mais disponibles ailleurs. On a regretté de ne pas avoir demandé de voir les 2 chambres avant d'accepté la proposition. Un établissement qui vit sur sa réputation du passé.

Au coup d'oeil, ce fut impressionnant mais petit à petit, j'ai constaté que nous étions soit, dans le rangement du vieux mobiliers ''encore bons'' ou dans la chambre de travailleurs temporaires dans la région. Seule la salle de bain était bien. Tout était négligé voir désuet. Fils des 2 tv qui pendent, taches de peinture un peu partout, un dosseret tapisserie acheté au Dollorama qui commence à décoller, chambre pour 4 et seulement 2 chaises pour les repas. Aucune chaise pour le bureau/console. Il y avait encore de l'eau dans le réservoir de la machine à café et le couvercle sur la climatisation cassé.

La vue de la chambre sur la baie, c’est juste wow, l’épicerie proche et à côté du centre ville. Nous avions une chambre rénovée et la toilette refait au complet. Et des planchés de bois refait.

Le matelas n’était pas confortable, il devrait être changé. Aussi de changer le mobilier serait bien, car désuet.

The adjoining door between our room and the next room had no lock and there was only a large sheet of styrofoam in the space between the 2 rooms.

A safe in the room would be ideal. Also a hangar in the bathroom for towel would be helpful.

I stayed at Saint Andrews Inn and Suites for 4 nights at the beginning of June. This hotel not only has fantastic ocean views but was extremely clean. The staff were very friendly and the coffee, yogurt and donuts were a nice touch! I didn’t use the pool but it looked inviting. I loved I could walk everywhere I wanted to go from the hotel. I would definitely book this again. Excellent value for amazing views.

From check in to check out our experience at this hotel was very positive. Friendly staff. very clean room and spectacular view of the water. We were given a room downstairs from the office. As this is an older building the stairs going down were dark carpet and even though it was lit up, seemed darkish when going down or up the stairs. This particular floor would not be great for anyone with mobility issues. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The furniture was dated but all in all everything was great and clean. Nice bathroom with standup shower lots of hot water and different settings on the shower nozzle to choose your desired spray pattern. On site parking. It was very quiet and was nice to sit on the patio overlooking the water. It was a perfect evening and spectacular view. Only thing we did not like on the patio was the chairs, they were far too low for us but we made do. No continental breakfast but hot coffee, yogurt and doughnuts(plain but tasted homemade) in the morning. Coffee is offered 24 hrs. Of all the accommodations available in St. Andrews this one was not the cheapest but about middle of them all. In my opinion, great value for all the choices we had of places to stay in St. Andrews. Walking distance to restaurants (within minutes), pubs and liquor store(across the street).

The main reason I rated this place low is the cleanliness, cheap bedsheets and super loud air conditioners. When I walked in I saw a layer of dust everywhere. Seemed like they hadn’t rented that room for a while and forgot to check it.

The staff was great and it was right at the end of the main town street. St Andrew's is an adorable seaside town with great restaurants and shopping.

Beautiful pool , didn't use as the heater was not working and it was chilly but when operating properly I'm sure it's great , rooms were clean, balcony was beautiful, private, bathroom was nice and clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The only thing this place is missing is a quality breakfast in the morning.

Our family rented 3 rooms and all were dirty! I had to request new bed sheets, the sheets were dirty and had hair in them. Will never stay again

The room was immaculate, the view of the bay superb, and the staff very friendly and welcoming.

The only issue was the TV - neither the audio nor the video worked properly. As we only spent time in the room late at night and early in the morning, however, this proved not to be much of an issue after all.

Pool area smelled very bad. the entire back wall is covered in black mold. took my kids swimming and had to leave after some time because i got a head ache from the awful smell and got a sore throat. people traveling for hockey stayed on the floor above and were extremely loud until midnight/1am. Bathroom had dirt all over the floor, hair all throughout the shower from previous people. While trying to get my toddlers toy that went under the bed, I found an empty liquor bottle and a bunch of garbage under the bed and a moldy pepperoni stick.

the bathroom could of been a bit cleaner, there was hair and urine around the toilet. and hairs left by someone previously in the shower. also the orange buildup around the shower could have been clean. well otherwise.

View is incredible and location is central to all our activities. Room had all the required amenities for our stay.
