Our stay at Smell Rose Beach Garden was absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect, with a beautiful beach view and a peaceful atmosphere that’s ideal for relaxing. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The owner were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We especially loved the beautiful garden setting and the calming environment. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we truly felt at home throughout our stay.

Honestly, there wasn’t much to dislike. Everything was well taken care of. If I had to mention one small thing, it would be that I wish we could have stayed longer!😊

The location is fantastic, it is really positioned on the beach.

It is basically, a share house. Other guests come and go and the common facilities, including the patio and all other common facilities are shared with those other guests. The only private area is your room and bathroom, everything else is shared. Cameras are everywhere outside and you cannot but feel that you are being watched where ever you are on the property. I wasn't comfortable at this property.

It has almost all the facilities like a hotel room. Easy acces to the beach. A secure place and cozy stay. Big size fridge which help us to store our frozen item for travelling.. Coway water purifier and microwave also in the pantry.. Enough seats to sit at the main area.. Got water tap near the gate to the beach so it is very convenient to remove the sands before we change.. The kids love the smart tv as it have access to youtube and wifi.. Easy self check in Nearby the town..family mart

There’s mosquitoes because of the area (garden concept) but they didn’t bite..just fly around..so we’re okay with that..

not suitable for family with kids. no privacy because home is sharing with others. my fault because i think there have stairs outside. however i give 9/10 for room and decoration. Its feel like come back home, not in vacay. sorry. price is quite pricey for just a room. i dont feel like want to go out from my room because there have strangers in the house

Proximity to the beach but probably the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I should have checked into a hotel as price point is similar and at least Youd get a breakfast and cleaned daily.

Everything,AC didnt work first night but got fixed,internet dropped out a few times.Kitchen downstairs always full of used/dirty dishes.The bathroom was basically a make shift poly carbonate box and every time you used the shower the whole floor would be wet.The toilet brush was filthy and should be replaced.It was basically a room in a house that wasn’t very well maintained

The host attended to our messages quick ly and made sure we are comfortable throughout the stay . The view and surrounding was serene. Well kept and clean home . Mother with eldery parent and toddlers .

I didn’t know that it was shared home, we just rent for bedroom. I didnt know its like co-living style, for someone who is a muslim and a girl with her friend (girl) both are not married yet, that stays in co-living with guys inside in a house kind of uncomfortable, there one neighbor looked at us in a weird way because we went inside a house while there were guys in the house too. We booked the downstairs room but we had to closed our curtains at all times because there were guys on the patio

Great view and brought back my memories i used to stay . Very nice place to stay and the staff is very helpful. I will suggest to book these place and surely i will come again next time.

It’s the better choice to book this intimate beach house rather than a hotel if you’re staying in Penang. It was lovely with direct access to the beach and a nice seating area outside to watch the sunset and sunrise, everything was perfect.

Good hospitality and great environment

1) I like the location as opposite the seaside. 2) the owners are kind and very responsive. 3) legit deal, kept to their words on deposit refunds. 4) water pressure was good at the bathroom. 5) convenient to get food. Restaurants near by.

1) the seaside is always busy as its private place, you many see people always camping , celebrating and drinking in front of the house and leaving the rubbish behind. Its not the owners issue but just sharing. 2) the house it self could be maintained better, the cleanliness was only just fair, bathroom has mold and most of the item was rusted, glass door at the deck area was not able to open properly. 3) for the price In my opinion its too expensive for the house. It might be suitable for room stay but not for the entire house. I have also informed the owner, hope the owner is able to clean and keep the property clean.

The ambiance was amazing... Beautiful room with beautiful view of the sea... Very simple Nordic style..

Cant swim in the beach... Too strong currents.. Water was not very clean... But it's a great place to just chill n enjoy the sounds of the waves...

Schön eingerichtetes Haus gleich am Meer. Nachts ist es sehr ruhig. Die Bushaltestelle ist gleich um die Ecke. Es gab einen Wasserspender mit heißem und kaltem Wasser. Es ist nicht viel in der Nähe aber wenn man viel Ruhe braucht, ist man dort perfekt aufgehoben. Und der Duft von Seife und Shampoo ein Traum. Ru ist immer erreichbar. Wenn man etwas braucht, dann muss man nur fragen 😊

The location was breathtaking, the design of the place was modern with some touches of oriental inspired decor which we loved. The room was sufficient for 2 people, we enjoyed our Netflix session in the room and usage of pantry. The patio was welcoming and listening to the sound of waves the whole day was so serene.

Our only suggestion is perhaps an upkeep of the lawn area facing the beach could be better; the leaves could have been swept and cleared.

This is a lovely little house facing the sea. It’s just a short walk to the beach — all you need to do is open the gate in the fence. Even if you don’t go down to the beach, you can still enjoy the ocean view while sitting under the porch roof. Whenever we needed to contact the host, they replied quickly and did their best to help us. It made us feel very well taken care of. If I had to point out one downside, it would be that there’s no elevator. If you're a female traveler with big and heavy luggage, I’d recommend booking a room on the ground floor for convenience. Overall, my friend and I had a very pleasant stay. We would definitely come back again if we have the chance. Thank you to the host 😊

As its co stay, it’s down to luck who’s in the other rooms. We had a family move in and take over the other rooms in the house, which meant they took over a lot of the common areas, with kids stuff everywhere. Became a lot less peaceful when they moved in

The place is located right behind the beach. You will able to hear the waves sound throughout the day. The beach is not very crowded too.

I really like the location, if you book the room downstairs you will have this stunning view because in front of the property is beachview.

Nothing! All is good except that this is a house with rooms that people only pay for the rooms heheh but its alright to me as long as the bathroom is private.

I got stung by a box jellyfish at the beach next to the property. The only recommendation I would have is to ensure the guests are forewarned about the risk of swimming in that beach. Perhaps with a sign near the gate.

The property was excellent. Location was fantastic with easy access to beach.

The toilets were a big let down with 2 rooms had glass partioned toilets with a curtain for privacy. Also option for any temp to come and clean .not a deal breaker. But would make the stay smoother.
