The view of our room was lovely, the staff was also really nice and the breakfast was excellent !!

Mooie ruime kamer met een groot balkon. Vriendelijke eigenaren die je met alles willen helpen. Voor een klein prijsje kon je door hun met de tuktuk naar het centrum worden gebracht.

Amazing view, lovely people and the best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka!! We enjoyed walking into town via the train tracks, and had plenty to do. Would recommend this spot in a heartbeat

De locatie en het uitzicht zijn fantastisch, een rustige plek, verstopt in de heuvels, op loopafstand van Ella. Het wordt gerund door een ontzettend gastvrije en lieve familie. Geen vraag is te veel. Het ontbijt is overvloedig en lekker.

De 2-persoons kamer met het glas en balkon zijn er wat kleine zaken die verbeterd kunnen worden. De bedden en kussens zijn vrij hard. Voor zijslapers oncomfortabel. De verlichting is erg fel en wit. Er zijn geen bedlampjes. De badkamerdeur kraakt zo hard dat je er wakker van wordt. Iets leuks aan de muur en een kledingkast zouden de kamer helemaal 'af' maken

Le personnel est très dévoué. Leurs tuk-tuk vous emmènent rapidement jusqu’à un point de chute où vous pouvez ensuite descendre à pied en ville en 5 min. La montée retour est pentue. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel

Wel een beetje afgelegen maar daar krijg je dus een super uitzicht voor terug.

Th view from property, breakfast and rooms were clean

First the location was totally off road you need to walk for 15 mins or climb 200 stairs to reach property, the staff was helpful So they helped to get our luggage from drop off point. But this was unknown. Also to nearby drop off point you need to take a tuktuk, that the hotel manager was helpful to get us free of charge. Next the room was without any Airconditioner, and on our summer night it was difficult to adjust with just a fan. Bathroom was clean but didn’t had any exhaust fan and any place to keep soaps near bath area, again was uncomfortable to manage.

The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with an unbeatable view. The peaceful location and the large balcony overlooking the waterfall made our stay truly memorable. Falling asleep to the soothing sound of the waterfall was a wonderful experience. The host was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared each morning. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

The property is located a little outside the town, (which makes it perfect for those looking for peace and quiet). The road leading to the property is a bit bumpy, but the stunning views and relaxing atmosphere make the journey well worth it. The price may be slightly higher compared with some other hotels nearby, but the beautiful setting, comfort, and warm hospitality made it worthwhile for us.

Niets,. Wel handig om te weten is dat het hotel halverwege een berg ligt. Wij hebben veel gelopen vanwege wegopbreking. En dat was ook prima. Normaal kun je wel met een Tuk Tuk.

La vue de la chambre est merveilleuse. De plus la chambre était très propre avec le nécessaire pour notre arrivée. Le personnel est vraiment au petit soin. La route menant à l’hôtel était en travaux et ils sont venus nous chercher à pied pour porter nos sacs lors de notre arrivée et notre départ. Le petit déjeuner est d’une extrême qualité (et en quantité), nous nous sommes régalés.

L’emplacement est plus loin du centre que d’autres hôtels, cependant pour avoir une vue pareille il faut s’en éloigner. Ce n’est donc pas tant un problème. De plus la marche pour y aller du centre est très agréable, 15 minutes sur les rails du train !!

A very pleasant hotel, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, offering a peaceful setting and a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and waterfalls. The family room was very clean and spacious, with our own terrace. We enjoyed a very hearty breakfast on the terrace with a view. We received a very warm welcome.

The room was clean, spacious, and the view unbeatable. Very calm area with a huge balcony overlooking the waterfall. The people were extremely nice and helped us with anything we asked, such as transportation to our next destination, pick up from the train station, and provided us with dinner upon our late-ish arrival. The breakfast was also amazing. Overall a great stay!

While the location was great, in terms of calm, quiet, and excellent views (oh! And the sound of the waterfall! :)), it’s a bit out of the city, on a quite bumpy road, which thankfully you can do by tuk tuk, but it is a rough ride.

De gastvrijheid, het fenomenaal uitzicht en goede bedden. De medewerker die ons meenam naar de Ella Rock. Zalige gast!

Geen kluis, geen frigo. Alles moet je wel vragen, maar ze brengen het onmiddellijk in orde. Verder weg van centrum maar prachtig zicht.

Al ser pequeño es muy acogedor. La familia nuy amable y te ayudan en todo lo que pueden. En julio la cascada no bajaba muy llena de agua. Habitacion limpia y amplia.

Were friendly personel, they were willing to do everything in their power so that our Family would have the Best time.. they arranged for us also a very early morning hike to Ella Rock to catch the Sunrise - it was out of this world!!

Great location overlooking waterfall up on the hill away from business of main road. Very walkable to main road but can also arrange a tuk yuk through the accommodation for a fee. Big clean room with aircon and fan and mini fridge. Delicious breakfast on the deck overlooking waterfall. Quiet cool evenings. Owners were on site to assist with anything we needed. We liked it so much we came back for a night

Only recommendation would be for a bed side light for reading.

We truly loved the experience, it was one of our nicest stays in Sri Lanka and definitely worth it! The view is amazing, it’s 15 min walking from Ella Center and we would come back any time.

Nothing to complain

The people working there are very friendly, super accommodating and always ready to help for anything needed may it be to book a tuk tuk to ask for specific address or activities or even to prepare something for dinner.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The biggest highlight of this hotel is the breathtaking view of the waterfall – waking up to such an amazing view was unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. They even have their own tuk-tuk, which made getting around very convenient. We had to leave at 3:00 a.m., so we couldn’t have breakfast at the hotel. To our surprise, the hosts thoughtfully prepared a takeaway breakfast for us, which was such a kind and caring gesture. ❤️

The hotel was located quite far from town, making it impractical to drive there ourselves. Since we needed to leave at 3:00 a.m., the hotel assured us they would provide transportation into town so we could meet our driver. Unfortunately, no one showed up, and despite multiple phone calls, we received no response. This left us in a very stressful situation. The room itself was also disappointing, as we found a large slug on the bedroom floor. Based on our experience with both the unreliable service and the cleanliness issues, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Overall, the value for money was good. The room was clean and had a view onto the waterfall. The service was extremely friendly and welcoming. We can also highly recommend the breakfast which was very authentic.

Since it is quite high up the hill, it was difficult finding a tuk tuk via PickMe but there are many around which will ask for 1000 SLR

Peaceful stay, falling asleep to the sound of the waterfall was amazing! The host and staff were amazing, they helped us organize our trip to our next destination and offered us a super tasty breakfast. Just 10mins by tuktuk to the centre!

Absolutely loved this place. It is a very steep journey out of the bustle of central Ella however it is well worth it. Rooms have a great view of the waterfall and staff were so kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Would definitely go back. Mosquito nets around the bed was welcomed and look lovely too.

No air con but good ceiling fan.

We loved everything about this property. The view of the waterfall was absolutely stunning from our big balcony (and bed)and our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious, with a wide variety of foods and specially catered for my gluten-free needs. Our hosts were not only super friendly but also very helpful. Rides into town and back and to our next destination and whatever else we needed was immediately organised by our amazing hosts.

The views are beautiful, yes the road right now is a bit bad but it is so worth it! The amenities are great, and the people are very sweet, kind and caring. When we visited, it was my birthday. The owner helped organise a wonderful surprise with a cake and balloons. I could have imagined anything better!!!!

The waterfall view from the room was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and made our stay pleasant. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety and taste. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

It's as promised. You will really get a very good view of waterfall l. Near and clean property managed by two young guyz. Very helpful and polite.

The road to property is very steep. Need skillful driver or better get a tuk tuk. Owners have tuk tuk contact numbers, you can call them for any assistance.

Lovely outlook towards the waterfall, nice and comfortable rooms, magnificent breakfast and great dinners. A fair way off the beaten track (offering peace and tranquility) but easily accessible by tuk tuk.

Het uitzicht op de waterval is spectaculair. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en wil je graag helpen. Het ontbijt was erg lekker en een goed begin van de dag.

De liggen van de accomodatie tegenover Ella is onhandig. Het is een bochtige en stijle weg waar de tuktuks moeite mee hadden. Wij hadden een kamer zonder airco maar wel met ventilator. De badkamer is echt aan vernieuwing toe.
