The foods are superb. Kitchen staff accommodated our food request even when not in their menu. The rooms are clean and the lodge personnel are so respectful and accommodating. To Bogah Lodge, thank you for providing us "HOME" during our stay in Banaue, Ifugao. You are doing great. Kudos!

La zona è molto tranquilla, dista dal centro circa dieci minuti a piedi, ma nelle immediate vicinanze ci sono ottimi ristoranti, bar e negozi di alimentari. Ho poi amato moltissimo dormire con il rumore del fiume in sottofondo. Il proprietario è stato con noi estremamente disponibile. Ci siamo affidati a lui per l'organizzazione dei tour e devo dire che ogni singola uscita è stata molto bella (non ho però elementi di paragone rispetto ai prezzi che ci ha proposto, non saprei dire se è più costoso di altri). Il figlio del titolare, che ci ha spesso accompagnati, è davvero un ragazzo gentile e simpatico.

A volte ci siamo sentiti un po' pressati dal titolare rispetto ai tour, sul farli e dove farli.

Un séjour exceptionnel au cœur des rizières ! L'établissement bénéficie d'un emplacement magnifique avec une vue directe sur les superbes rizières en terrasses. Ce qui rend ce lieu vraiment unique, c'est l'accompagnement de cette famille adorable avec Joel et sa femme qui prépare les repas. Ils sont d'une grande gentillesse, toujours disponibles, réactifs et aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes. Nous avons eu une prise en charge des la descente du bus par leur fils. Un grand merci également à leur fils, Barzi, qui a été notre guide pendant notre séjour. Grâce à lui, nous avons découvert la région dans les meilleures conditions. Il est très sympathique, professionnel et partage avec passion ses connaissances. Nous repartons avec de merveilleux souvenirs et recommandons cet établissement à 100 % à tous ceux qui recherchent un accueil authentique, chaleureux et une expérience inoubliable au cœur des rizières. Merci encore à toute la famille !

The hosts son where so helpful and the place had the best view and we truly felt at home and taken good care of

The view, the people, and how they communicated with us. Joel and his team really went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay, including making allowances for the needs of our most senior family member. Communication with Joel was clear, swift, and transparent. He was able to help us arrange for tours and transport easily and with much consideration of our group’s needs. The rooms and food, simple but clean. Only toilet paper provided but there is hot / warm water and toilet bidets. My son loved being the cooks, Joy and Sabel’s, kitchen helper. Also loved their coffee so much, I went to buy some from the market to take home :) The view, top notch! So much greenery and fresh air! The lodge itself is situated on a mini rice terraces next to a river, some native homes, and is an interesting 15 minute walk to town (including a quaint hanging bridge!).

Personally, I had no issues, but It’s worth mentioning that the stairs going down the lodge can be quite steep and slippery for people with mobility issues.

Super nice owner & staff, they provide you with everything you need. Simple but very nice room. Very good price. Food there is a big plus.

Really nice view. The room is essential but clean. The lady preparing the meals is really nice and cooks well.

We arrived with the night bus and they let us check in early only after we agreed to do a tour with them the day after. Anyway the tour was really good.

אני ממש נהניתי והתרשמתי ממקום הלינה הזה. החדר נקי ללא רבב, יש מים חמים במקלחת, יש אפילו מרפסת שזה יתרון עצום. התאורה בחדר מצויינת. הנוף של ההרים וטרסות האורז פשוט מטריף. הצוות כאן מדהים אחד אחד ועוזר בהכל.

We were collected from the bus Terminal to the accommodation even though we arrived very early in the morning. A transport hire and driver for the day was also available and it was reasonably priced. The rooms were clean and it had complimentary items such as toothpaste, toothbrush, soap and shampoo. Staff was very helpful and good at speaking English.

Tolle Lage mit Blick auf die Reisfelder (nicht direkt im Zentrum aber fußläufig erreichbar). Das Zimmer war großzügig und sauber. Ich wurde bei Ankunft kostenlos vom Busterminal abgeholt. Ausflüge und Transportmöglichkeiten können in der Unterkunft gebucht werden. Die sind bestimmt teurer als anderswo, dafür ist es praktisch. Und man muss sich ja nicht alles „verkaufen“ lassen.

Für den frühen Abreisemorgen hatte mir einer der Mitarbeitenden zugesagt er würde mich zum Busterminal bringen. Leider ist er nicht aufgetaucht, so dass ich im Dunkeln alleine durch das Dorf zum Terminal laufen musste. Machbar, wenn auch unangenehm. Dennoch schade für den letzten Moment.

Durften um 5 Uhr schon Einchecken, Danke dafür, Essen war auch lecker, Reisterrasse vor der Tür, gemütlich Atmosphäre

La chambre est spartiate mais la vue est superbe de la terrasse de l’hôtel. Il y a tout ce qu’on attendait pour préparer le trek de 3 jours que que nous avons pris chez eux. Très bons repas, personnel accueillant et le guide fut parfait. Très bon Qualité Prix.

Plus d’eau le matin du départ mais c’était généralisé au quartier.

The staff were so kind. Barcy was awesome! We paid for the round trip to Batad (2000 PHP) and he never rushed us at all - which is very important to us! Included was also scenic stops, where he shared some history about the different rice terraces. All the staff are very attentive and make you feel very comfortable and at home. Thank you so much!

We received a dirty towel and the toilet paper holder was broken.

Bel emplacement de cet hôtel dans les rizières de Banaue,avec une très belle vue; chambre simple mais très propre . A notre arrivée à 6 h du matin nous avons pu avoir tout de suite une chambre, qui certe n’était pas celle que nous avions réservée mais nous avons pu poser tout de suite nos bagages et la patronne de l’établissement voulait le lendemain nous donner la chambre que nous avions réservée . Merci encore Toute la famille et le personnel d’une extrême gentillesse , toujours là pour vous renseigner. Petit déjeuner copieux, restaurant très bon avec une cuisine familiale. Je recommande cet établissement

Un accueil formidable par Joel à notre arrivée en bus très tôt le matin. Le personnel est très gentil et avenant. Chambre confortable. Les petits déjeuners étaient bons ainsi que les plats du dîner. Le cadre avec vue sur une rizière en terrasse, la rivière et la montagne.

Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach gehalten, aber dafür hat der Preis gut gepasst.

Die Lage ist schön, besonders die Sicht auf die Reisfelder unterhalb. Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter. Sie haben alle Fragen schnell beantwortet. Danke

Badezimmer ist grenzwertig. Da man zu Fuß unterwegs ist, benötigt man eine Dusche. Da habe ich mich nicht wohl gefühlt. Sauberkeit nicht ok und Renovierungsstau.

Taking into consideration the local weather, we would have appreciated some extra (or thicker) blankets (we didn't ask for them so can't really complain). I asked if we could share guided tour(s) with other guest(s). It was refused but later we were meeting other guests (with another guide) several times during the tour.

On a passé un très bon moment ! On nous a récupéré directement à la sortie du bus. Joël nous a préparé un trek de 2 jours guidés par son fils entre Cambolo et Batad. Une super expérience !

Les repas sur place . l organisation au top que nous a preparé Joel ( qui parle un peu le francais ). et place de parking secur pour notre voiture de location. Superbe vue sur la riviere et deja les rizieres en terrasse

The location has the best panoramic view of the village. The lodge manager, Joel, is very knowledgeable and hooked us up with the best guide-Rommel . The breakfast we had was also very tasty. Highly recommended

Kann die Unterkunft leider nicht empfehlen. Es wurde versucht uns eine vollkommen preislich überzogene Reise für 6100 Pesos zu verkaufen. Zweimal wurde uns versprochen das ursprünglich gebuchte Zimmer zu erhalten was nicht erfolgt ist. Kein Shampoo, kein Toilettenpapier und ein verschmutztes Waschbecken. Die Durchlauferhitzer funktionieren nicht. Stay away from this acomodation!

It was a quiet place, food was good and staff friendly. We liked very much that they came to pick us up at the bus station. Also their dining are is a big balcony, nice to hang out.

Shower didn’t have consistent hot water, sometimes only warm. WiFi did not reach all the way up to 3rd. Floor.

Kein warmes Wasser, angeblich in allen Zimmer. Es gab kein Toilettenpapier, Shampoo oder ähnliches. Waschbecken verschmutzt. Für die Besichtigung von Banaue Batad wurden 6100 Pesos verlangt für einen vier bis fünf Stundentrip was wir abgelehnt haben. Angeblich gibt es keine Roller! Stimmt nicht! Wir konnten in der Nähe der Tourist information einen Roller mieten. Es wurde uns zweimal ein anderes Zimmer versprochen, was nicht erfolgt ist. Leider können wir diese Unterkunft nicht empfehlen.

It’s a nice location with an amazing view on the terraces ! A big room and clean with a balcony. Staff was really helpful for organising my trip, especially with my amazing guide Jhun ! I could leave my backpack while hiking and take a shower before taking the night bus again

Staff was very helpful, the room was ok, bed was comfortable, food is very good, they offer day trips to rice terraces, they help you plan the visit to different attractions

Nous avons dormi dans une chambre à l'étage, très propre, confortable après le retour d'un trek de 3 jours par l'intermédiaire de Joël du Bogha lodge qui a été charmant comme tout et nous a trouvé un van pour nous enmener à Sagada. Nous tenons à dire que notre jeune guide Barcy a été parfait, prévenant, d'une gentillesse, donnant bcp d'explications, nous avons été enchantés ! Le personnel est très agréable, les repas sont bons, merci au Bogha lodge pour tout !

L’accueille Joël est un hôte de qualité

Les douches tiède sans pression. La literie de mauvaise qualité matelas housse plastique comme les hôpitaux. Manque une couette car les couvertures ne sont pas chaudes et synthétiques.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au Bogah Lodge. Les chambres sont spacieuses et fonctionnelles, l’espace commun a l’extérieur est très bien pour rencontrer des voyageurs. Le restaurant est bon et un grand merci à notre hôte pour avoir organisé nos randonnées et balades.

Our family had a great stay at Bogah Lodge, and would certainly recommend! The facilities were exactly as advertised and offered good value. We took a number of meals at the restaurant and were always satisfied. The staff really stood out! They were kind and super helpful. They helped us plan our trek (Hapao rice terraces) and gave us complementary transport to the bus station for our departure.

It's clean and personnel were courteous and helpful.Words to the wise, there are 42 steps going down the place. It's not mobility friendly.The b..r is tight and hot water is almost gone. breakfast is on your own.
