7th Heaven Lodge and Cafe

Merci beaucoup à toute la famille du 7th Heaven Lodge and cafe pour votre accueil exceptionnel 🥰. Dès le 1er jour en arrivant à 4h du matin en bus de Manille, David est venu nous chercher pour nous emmener à la Guest house. Une chambre nous a même été mise à disposition gratuitement pour pouvoir nous reposer. L'emplacement est tout proche du centre de Banaue. Le treck de 2 jours avec Emman était également formidable, Emman a fait en sorte que tout se passe très bien pour notre famille. Maraming salamt po 🥰

Pequeño hostel donde te hacen sentir como de su familia. El sitio está muy bien, limpio y con una terraza de ensueño. El hotel es de una familia encantadora que te hacen sentir como en casa, muy atentos y se encargan de organizarte los tours en la zona. Muy agradecidos a David y su familia. Muy muy recomendable.

Nous avons été abandonnés à notre arrivée à 4h30 du matin au bord de la route après 9h00 de bus. Devant patienter jusqu'à 7h00 avant de voir apparaître une personne du staff. Il était convenu que l'on soit récupéré. Parallèlement nous n'avons jamais vu le moindre personnel dans le guest house pendant deux jours.

Restauration un petit peu chère même si très bon

Emplacement idéal avec vue sur les rizières, proche du terminus des bus. Ne pas hésiter à profiter des tours proposés par Emman, très intéressants et enrichissants, sur toute la région, qu'il adapte en fonction de nos désirs et de notre condition physique, avec des guides et chauffeurs formidables (merci Fred!)

Sanitaires et douches pourraient être réparés et un peu plus propres. Le restaurant est cher par rapport aux plats et petits déjeuners proposés.

Idéalement placé pour faire le trek dans les rizières Personnel adorable (mention particulière pour le guitariste qui nous a joué quelques morceaux de falk Country pendant le dîner, et pour Emman un super trek-guide qui fait partie du personnel et qui saura vous faire decouvrir cette magnifique region des Philippines en partageant en "franglais" son amour de la nature et des rizières). Excellent rapport qualité prix

Je suis de ceux qui ont une exigence crescendo en fonction du prix de la nuit (plus c'est cher plus je suis exigeant). Par ricochet, rien à reprocher

The view was spectacular. The food was delicious. The staff were friendly.

The bed was so uncomfortablly hard and one thin blanket. Keith, the manager changed the bed and added blankets for the 2nd night. Very comfortable!

Tout le monde est tellement gentil et serviable ! Belle vue sur la ville. Tout est très bien organisé avec les guides pour les départs en trekking et c’est tellement agréable d’être aussi bien pris en charge pour notre première étape aux Philippines. Nous pouvons laisser nos valises à l’hôtel pendant les 3 jours de trek et prendre une douche en rentrant. C’est super appréciable. Mention spéciale pour Ariel, notre guide, qui a été au top !

La salle de bain et les toilettes séparés mais nous le savions quand nous avons réservé.

Sensationeller Ausblick im Speiseraum. Sehr gute Touren, ich habe drei Tagesausflüge gemacht die speziell auf meine Anforderungen zusammengestellt wurden, nicht billig aber sehr gut!

Privates externes Badezimmer wurde von jedem genutzt und sah dann auch entsprechend aus. Im Zimmer Ausblick nur 2 Meter auf eine Baustelle. Die meisten auf der Speisekarte gibt es erst ab 2 Personen. Man muss schon um 09:30 auschecken. Um 21 Uhr wird Gebäude abgesperrt,.man bekommt keinen Schlüssel. Wären die Touren nicht so gut gewesen, hätte ich keine gute Bewertung gegeben.

A really friendly place with very helpful staff and excellent tour guides. The restaurant also served great food. It was basic but good value for money and we really enjoyed our time there.

An en-suite bathroom would have been nice and we would have paid a bit more for that

La lodge est vraiment sublime, le personnel accueillant et très gentil. Très bien situé pour organiser les trecks. Encore merci à David et Arthur, nos guides pour cette belle aventure !

La salle de bain est partagée , mais il faut savoir que je suis assez difficile là-dessus.

Dès notre arrivée avec le bus de nuit, ils sont venus nous chercher et nous donner une chambre tout de suite.Merci encore😊 Le staff est très sympathique. Ils nous ont organisé la visite des rizières et des sources chaudes. On a pu laissé un sac pour aller à Batad 2 jours .Je recommande vivement cette guesthouse située tout près de la gare routière.

7th heaven was in an excellent location-close to the bus station and town centre/market but also far enough away from the noise. It has great views across the area.Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food good for a reasonable price.

i wish there was a screen even on one of the 4 windows in our room, so that we could keep it open and have fresh air. small insects get in when we keep even 1 of the windows open the flush in our bathroom didn't work

Personnel super serviable et très gentil.

Salles de bain minimales avec des toilettes qui ne fonctionnent pas dans la plus part et une eau chaude aléatoire pour les douches.

L'hébergement dispose d'un restaurant sur place ce qui est très appréciable, de plus la vue depuis la terrasse est superbe. Le personnel est aussi très sympathique et enjoué. On est venu me chercher au terminal du bus puis on m'a redéposé sans contrepartie financière. Si l'on veut on peut organiser ses visites par leur biais, c'est pratique.

On dispose d'une salle de bain privée juste à côté de la chambre, ce qui n'est pas gênant mais moins pratique.

Sehr schöner Ausblick auf den Ort und die Berge. Das Personal hat uns sehr freundlich, entspannt und aufmerksam durch den Taifun begleitet. Trotz Strom-, Wasser- und Internetausfall wurden wir bestens versorgt. Am Tag nach dem Taifun hat man uns die bestmögliche Tour zu und durch die Reisterrassen ermöglicht.

Everything! The view, the helpful and caring family looking after me, the tour.. Helped me get onto another bus when mine was cancelled because of the super typhoon. Nothing was too much trouble for them ❤️

Un accueil XXL! C'est vraiment le bon plan. On vient nous chercher à l'arrêt du bus en tuk-tuk. Puis hôtel trop sympa, en mode roots avec vue de la mort qui tue! Puis proposition d'un trek de 3 jours vers les rizières. Notre guide s'appelle Carla et elle est top! Prévenante, à l'écoute et se démène en quatre pour nous faire plaisir. Pour la première nuit du trek, spécial thanks à Cambulo à l'hôtel home star global et Jordan! Super soirée. Cette hôtel est l'une des meilleures choses au Philippines.

Nous nous y sommes sentis comme chez nous. également pour leur disponibilité et leur précieux conseils qui nous ont permis de découvrir la région et de profiter pleinement de notre séjour. De mensen waren erg vriendelijk en hielpen ons goed met het plannen van de activiteiten in de buurt. We kwamen in de ochtend om 4:30 aan en werden ook direct door de opgevangen om daar nog even te kunnen bijslapen.

Staff are kind and attentive to your needs. Good location. The view from bedroom windows and resto give you a sense of freedom from the busy city. Good food. Simple amenities but clean and functional. They provide day trip services.

Great welcome by the host. Good food. Atmosphere of the lodge: mountain type lodge. The host took care of us starting with the airport pick up & drop, arranging the treck for us and massage, providing accommodation & food. No worries

I was in Room 1, and the view was outstanding! Perfectly clean, has own private bathroom shower just outside of the room. Hosts were very nice and helpful. The cheese omelette for breakfast was so yummy!

We booked a room with a private bathroom. Upon arrival, we were given a room with a shared one and had to argue with the manager to switch rooms. Moreover, they charge money to charge your phone in the dining room

Everything : the place is very clean, the food is good and very convenient, the view is amazing, the localisation is great. But the bigger asset is the family and people who work there : extra nice, they do everything they can to make your stay the best possible and are so considerate. Thank you very much for the perfect hospitality and organisation of our stay and tour.

Just a small point for the light sleepers : it can be a bit noisy outside at night with the traffic, roosters and dogs, and the curtain don't block the light very much, so you want to prepare your earplugs and eye mask. But it's not a problem if you're prepared.

The views are great from the property, which you can spend hours looking at. We’ll set out for any visitor to enjoy. The staff were all so friendly and could not do enough to help out. They were really good and helped us with our plans we had so we also visited places we were not aware of, which turned out to be nice to do whilst there. We will be back.

Bathrooms require a little attention as the air vents were broken and keep falling out both internal and external.

Good customer service. They can organize tours around Banaue. They offer to pick you up at the bus station but I requested the driver to stop near the hotel. Good location, about 5 min walk to Banaue's centre. Cozy room. Wifi works well.

There was rubbish in the bin when I checked-in. I think that with only one light in the room, it is not sufficient to light properly the whole room. There are 4 toilets, one for each room outside them, but one toilet was disabled and on another one the shower didn't work. There fore there were 2 showers and 3 toilets available for 4 rooms.

The view was magnificent and just nearby at the busstop

The noise from the other rooms when the doors opened and closed and also the sounds of footsteps on the floor above. The 6:30 last food order in the evening was too early for us.

Good meals, it would be a challenging experience for city dwellers and yet you will be appreciative of the culture and discipline of the people(hardworking).

It is not for the faint of heart nor weak knees nor legs, moderate to strenuous activity- rustic, not to scare you, rice terraces, what can go wrong, yet it is awesome, the experience is exhilarating!

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Simple room but all clean and traditional feel. Location good for bus & jeepney (at church), and trike access and tourist office. Great view from window and even better from breakfast balcony. Really helpful staff considering Booking.com allowed us to book a last room which wasn't available, luckily I think they had a no show? Coffee is good as well ifugau brew. And their meals are big enough for 2 so you save money as well ! Recommend the pancakes with added mango.

The price was great, as was the view from my room. I found the Philippines in general very noisy. But this was a little oasis. The staff were friendly and helpful. They organised a couple of trips for me and were reliable. It is walking distance to the town centre. My room was spacious and quiet. I had my own toilet / shower room nearby. There was also a ( limited ) choice of food on offer. When i arrived from Manila on the overnight bus, i got picked up from the bus stop which was helpful.

The choice of food wasn't great but TBH i am a fussy eater.

It was a great experience, a fantastic experience indeed! A breathtaking place and lovely people you just can't forget both as professionals and human beings. They went above and beyond - any time - to meet our expectations. As we see it, the place is comfortable enough to fully enjoy a few days far, very far from the hectic pace of modern life, Life is so beautiful when you can take as a blessing whatever dedicated people are willing and happy to offer you. We enjoyed both accommodation and food as well as the guided tours David and his family so devotedly organized for us. From the very moment I booked, I could keep in touch with the lodge through Cindy Jane who responded each time in the most efficient and pleasant way. Excellent value for money all along the way, and - even more important - a keen sense of authenticity and friendliness from all. Congratulations, folks! We do hope that many many other visitors - for still many many years - will be able to enjoy 7th Heaven Lodge & Cafe when coming to Banaue. We'll remember your faces, names and smiles together with the fantastic terraces and landscapes we discovered there : more than just a place to stay, the lodge is a place where you feel at home, spending a few days with people you won't fail to see as old friends. We wish you all the best and commit ourselves to advising 7th Heaven Lodge & Cafe to anybody anxious to travel to the Ifugao lands and the dramatic rice terraces in Banaue.

Very reasonable price and decent room. Food was excellent! Super friendly staff also. They also give recommendations to get the most out of 2 days, organize transport and a guide and are also very flexible. We had already checked out (at 10:00), but since we spent the day in Batad, we were able to wash and change our clothes before getting on the bus.

FYI the bathroom is shared.

They really care about travelers. Arrived early morning on a night bus and was allowed to use their facilities before.departure on a two days hike to Batad (my reservation was for the night after the trek), they prepared packed lunch for me, stored my bag. This is a great place to stay.

Location is excellent, magnificent view across Banaue and a short walk into town (only 3 minute walk to the Manila/Sagada bus stop). They arrange a tricycle pick up from the bus stop. Staff are lovely, all extremely friendly and helpful. The in-house cafe serves great food. Good strong wifi.

Rooms are on the small side with little space to adequately store luggage without tripping over it. Rooms are also uninspiring being completely finished (walls and ceiling) in unfinished plywood, it’s like living in a plywood cube.

Nice place and night staff they are very gentle and taking care about all the needs. High recommended and super value for the price!

5 minutes walk away from the bus station, perfect location. Wi-Fi is fast in the restaurant and it even reaches my room on the 2nd floor, Room 1. My room has the best view.

No other payment methods aside from cash.

I have travelled a lot but never before have I been welcomed so kindly by a family! They are always cheerful and always there for you! The organisation of the family is also very well put together so everything goes smoothly. They have different tours that they offer which are all very well organised. I am very happy to have stayed here and would recommend it to anyone!

Out of the rokus of the city center and a good view of the Rice terraces. The staff composed of family members each exceptional in service from food to trek guides and very comfy place to stay. A home away from home.
