Oulu Loft Guesthouse

High-quality, inclusive accommodation in a quiet residential area. Large living room windows offer a view of a beautiful park, you can go go for a walk by the river, less than 100 meters away. You can prepare your own food in the kitchen, make coffee, and store your food in the refrigerator. House and room was very clean and comfortable. Parking is available in the front yard, near the entrance. The host is extremely helpful and friendly.

Yhteisessä keittiössä oli tarjolla laaja valikoima astioita ja kaksi isoa jääkaappia, omia aamiaisia ja ruokaa varten. Astianpesukone oli myös. Majoituspaikka on hiljaisella pikkutiellä, nukuin yöt hyvin. Talon takapihan lähellä oli nuorten ylläpitämä kioski, josta sai lämpimiä nacho-annoksia ja kylmiä juomia.

Todella upea talo ja erinomainen sänky.

tämä majoitus oli vArallinen kierreportainreen,kummallisine sänky ratkaisuineen. Loukkasin itseni sairaala kuntoon. En ole pahempaamajoitusta kokenut.

Pidin asunnosta todella paljon ja itse nukkumistila oli aivan mainio. Henkilöt olivat todella mukavia. Suosittelen.

En ajatellut syöväni aamiaista majoitiuspaikassa. Olisi ollut mahdollista kokoata yhteiskeittiössä.

Telkkaria olisin voinut katsoa mutta antennipiuhalle en sitten löytänyt kiinnityskohtaa. No olin kai tarpeeksi väsynyt ja nukkumaan valmis.

A place to stay not far from the city centre, one of not that many accomodations in Oulu

Not enough light in the room was, relative lack of privacy (both for me nad for the host, I'm afraid).

Kerrosten (asuntojen) välillä avoimet portaat joiden kautta äänet kuuluvat. Ovia ei voinut lukita poissaolon ajaksi.

Výborná výbava, výborná lokalita, 3 minúty pešo je autobusová zastávka, krásny dom, krásny dvor, krásna príroda (v celom Oulu), rieka pár metrov od domu, milý majiteľ, všetko bolo super.

Asukoht oli hea, autoga oli lihtne tulla.

Majutusasutuses elas suur perekond, maja oli väga lärmakas, tuba asus avatud ruumi teisel korrusel ja tuppa oli kõik kuulda. Toa põrand oli must ning duširuumis oli majaelanike pesu ja isiklikud pesemisvahendid. Väga ebameeldiv kogemus ja läksin sealt minema. Palusin raha tagastada aga majaomanik keeldus ja naeris selle peale.

Wunderschönes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus. Ich hatte die untere Etage für mich alleine. Der Vermieter war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Hyvä ja rauhallinen sijainti, todella siistit tilat. Kommunikointi varauksen suhteen helppoa ja nopeaa.

The house is beautiful. The location was great. We had a car and wanted to be away from the cuty center. But ut was walkable to the center on a nice path along the river. There is even a sauna boat a ross the river.

The bathroom is only for us but we have to walk across a corner of the shared living room to get there.

Absolutely fantastic stay! Teemu is a fantastic host and a superb person to get to know to. The loft house is a unique find in Finland. Slept like a baby, had great laughs and conversations and overall just enjoyed my stay. Went to check a public sauna that happens to be just next to the loft, what a great experience that was too. I now know where to return to whenever I need to make a stop in Oulu! Thank you!

Comfortable room in a well designed house, where the friendly host family had clear yet relaxed enough rules for the guest to follow. Enjoyed a lot!

A very impressive place in an interesting location near a river with a small (available) beach not 100 yards away. There was no breakfast. I wasn't aware any was offered. The kitchen was front and center in this loft space. I enjoyed sitting at a table with the owner and talking about this and that - and fairly wide ranging in nature. Most (?) places 'show no faces'. The architecture/construction of the home was a treat to see and contemplate.

Very special and modern but still very cozy place! I walked along the river from the city center (about 40 minutes). River right in front of the house to go for a swim. Teemu was very kind and helped with everything!

Nice place, the owner made every effort to ensure my stay was good. The house has a story which I'll leave him to tell you. I had the basement room, which had access to the shower area/toilet, garden, and the river.

It was like staying in a quiet church.. It's not really a deal breaker. It's just so quiet that you were afraid to do anything in the room. The big thing that I didn't care for was trying to get into the place. I knocked for about 10 minutes. Then I walked around the back to see if there was another entrance. Nope, so I had to go back to the door and once again ring the doorbell over and over and knock. Finally he opened the door like it was no big deal.. I just booked the place, and he knew that I was on my way.. Might not sound like a big deal. But when you have been on a motorcycle in the rain all day hassles like that, does mean more..

Absolutely loved the house! If the owner ever decides to sell it, please let me know - I might have to move to Oulu because of it! 😄 Everything was great, would happily go back if I need accommodation in Oulu again 👍🏻

Teemu is perfect man and very friendly. I am very nice to meet him. Home is on the river and has own garden. Cool place inside. You can feel like the vibe inside.

Shared spaces are still shared spaces but here it wasn't as much of an issue as it might be elsewhere. There is some distance to city center and the location is in narrow streets.

Fantastic place , large open area and good views ! Can walk out and onto the water side for walks and small cafes ! The owner was friendly, informative and good communication! Parking at the front of the property! The room was clean , tidy and and very comfortable bed ! Big bathroom and all amenties ! Easy access to supermarket and fee place to eat! Beautiful design home, warm and easy feeling to stay in someone’s home. Every detail is carefully tought about.

It’s a great place, with unique architecture. Very comfortable. Great communication with the host. Was able to provide assistance with the late check in. Very easy to get to the house from the airport. Accessible also by public transportation.

It was one of the best accommodation that i have stayed. Very clean and comfortable with big living room and terrace and nice kitchen.

The location is a little bit far from the center of Oulu.

That was a quick one night stay, and I’ve been really happy that I chose that place. House very nice ( at least on my side), with big lodge , located in quiet green area near river. Was good to take a walk after long journey from Helsinki. And of course the owner Teemu is really friendly and attentive to guests. Thank you for that stay, hopefully I will back for longer stay next time.

The Loft is extraordinary beautiful! The host Teemu is the most kind person you can imagine! He also makes the very best coffee! Highly recommend to stay there! I will def. come again!!! :)

Super friendly and service minded host! The guesthouse is located a few km's from the city centre, but in a beautiful surrounding next to the Oulu river, where the surroundings makes up for the distance, as it provides an insight in "Finnish way of life". Architecturally nothing but magnificent. A stay here is very much recommended, especially if peacefulness in on your mind! 110 point out of 100 possible!

This property is shared with the owner and other people. It is not clearly written in the description of the house, it was extreme disappointment when we came there and there was not very friendly owner waiting. From the very beggining the comunication was zero, he did not get me know when can we come, he just did not write any message in advance. I needed to text him that day and ask. Then he was having some ballet and did not have time to open. We needed to wait for him in the city centre. Then as I said already, you share the property. We were suppose to be living downstairs where is dark, bathroom next to it and sauna. So other people would be coming. There was no door! The place looked like cealing. We did not feel good there as the owner was extremely strange and little but laughing all the time. Not comunicating and looking at us weirdly. It is not even worth the money!!! Day before we stayed in beautiful cottage that was for more people and only 10 euros more. This experience was horrible, we decided to not stay. Then when I wanted to communicate with the owner about the refund (because in the first place in the description is not written that you are sharing with other and have no door), he stoped answering.

Everything as advertized. Easy access and parking. Friendly host. Nice view from the common dining room.

Restful and attractive location in residential area. Host is friendly and fun to talk with.

However, home was very cluttered and floors and surfaces in common areas were very dusty; the floor in the bedroom was dirty. Rugs in bedroom and bathroom had a lot of hair from other guests tangled in the fibers, so some of these items are not being cleaned between guests. Great price and location, and would have been better if cleanliness was a higher priority. The home is not as clean and organized as depicted in listing pictures.

It should be mentioned in the description that these are rooms in a private household. Consequently, the kitchen, toilet, and shower were littered with the owner's utensils. The room downstairs is very dark, has bad lightening, and is noisy due to the heating next door. None of the indoor doors can be locked.

The place very pleasing in every way. Unfortunately I did not have much time to fully enjoy the stay, but the house is exceptionally unique and the host is a lovely person. Highly recommended!

Great House and clean

The atmosphere in the house is a bit weird. The host was friendly but not more than that, i personally like to have some exchange with the host. The family that stayed there didn’t even bother to say hi… Not necessary but definitely adds to your comfort.

Teemu, the place owner, is exceptional! He has been one of the kindest host I have ever met with. He cares a lot about his establishment and goes the extra mile to ensure that you have an enjoyable stay. I really liked the room, it was spotless, modern and large. Bathroom was warm and cozzy. I loved the interior design, spacious place, terasse. In the kitchen area, you may find OUTSTANDING collection of Moomin's mugs and bowls. Overall, I highly recommend Oulu Loft Guesthouse!

Shower in the basement. Peacefull room, bed was good.

We didn’t realize that this is provider’s home where the father with son were living. There was everythere owner’s staff like in the kitchen and the basement bathroom.
