Etherington Suites

Hosts contacted us before arrival and sent door codes and parking info. Also had a bottle of wine for our arrival. Liked the parking close by and the balcony view of the river.

Did not realize the room had so many low ceiling beams. Hubby is 6'4, so he did hurt himself a couple times. If you are 5'7 or shorter, your good.

小さな町なので町の中に宿泊出来たことで、いろいろな時間にゆっくりお散歩ができたりとってもよかったです。宿自体も清潔でかわいかったです。

入口が全くわからず、町の方に伺いようやくわかりました。レストランの上の階に宿があり、建物と建物の間を通っていくとドアがあります。建物には宿の名前など記載はないので、事前に建物の入り口や駐車場の場所について写真付きの地図がほしかったです。

Location was so central to everything and unit was very clean and spacious.

The location was amazing. Simply open the door and walk to the street where all the shops, restaurant's, etc. are all walking distance and in a beautiful location. The town is lovely! And the accomodations felt really safe!

Huge cobwebs in the front lighting fixture and doorframe of the little bedroom with their spiders.

It’s walking distance to everything. Easy to find. Very nice people to deal with.

The air conditioning is too far away from the bed. I think a pedestal fan would be a nice addition to funnel the cold air over to the other side of the unit. I was very hot all night.

Its proximity to the village was excellent. Clean and comfortable. Easy to find and all amenities were great!

The A/C unit is very loud but needed on hot days. Had Difficulty sleeping with it on.

It was a nice apartment for our stay and in a perfect location near cafes, pubs and restaurants as well as shopping.

The check in and property information provided by Janet and Chris was excellent. The space was clean, well appointed, very comfortable and stylish. The view of the river from the private balcony was also very nice and we enjoyed the welcome wine gift sitting out on the patio.

Had some difficulty figuring out the tv but that is more of a me problem unfortunately.

The location is really close to the center of Elora, the suite is beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay

Fantastic location. Hosts' instructions were great to get in and throughout our stay. Very homely feel.

We were very happy with everything. Perhaps the bed and pillows were a bit soft, but it was still great. Internet dipped out on and off, but was mostly fine. Perhaps a booklet or some information could have been left about local attractions?

The room was exceptional--newly decorated and very spacious. The various streaming services were generous. The kitchen was perfect and the washroom luxurious. Checking in and out was a breeze, and the host was responsive.

The only detraction from our stay was the intermittent wifi. Our streaming services cut out repeatedly in the evening and again in the morning, despite resetting the modem several times.

The space was very clean and comfortable, it was also super cute right on the water with a fireplace. The bed was 10/10 comfortable as well!! The location was also perfect, right next to everything, and easy to find and also access. We had an amazing time staying here, even if it was only for a night! Also the owners were incredibly understanding and accommodating to our travel delays due to weather, which was very much appreciated. Hopefully we’re get to come back and stay here once again!

Amazing location. Very clean. They even had coffee pods and a hot chocolate. AND CREAMER IN THE FRIDGE. Above and beyond. Lots of space for our things. Pillows very comfy! Free netflix to use; BONUS. Hot water and great water pressure in shower. Large fluffy towels (without the fabric softener smell!) Top notch. Nice to have free parking. Would be a perfect spot for a couple or a couple with a child.

Needs more blackout curtains (but we are from the country and like it to be very dark to sleep)

I loved the fireplace by the bed, the lights under the raised bed platform, and the bathroom fireplace! This was exciting because it was frigid outside. In the summer, the deck would have been amazing.

Arrival information was provided early and super detailed. Checking in and out was a breeze. The room was perfect. Clean, great location, well decorated with everything we needed. Made for a great trip. Great hosts thanks!

Everything was great

Both the location and the room were perfect for our stay. Walking in, the cozy fire was burning and the view of the river was calming. Having another room to lounge in was also much appreciated. The coffee, tea and cream available was also a nice touch!

The only negative for us was figuring out the code entry (a little different from other code entries we have used) but the owner was readily available by phone and we resolved it in minutes.

The location was good as it was within walking distance to everything. The unit was very clean and spacious. It was very comfortable and well kept.

Parking was not good! We had to park a block away during the day because the municipal parking lot was full. We had to go back and check after dinner to see if there was any spaces available to move our car for the night before we got a parking ticket. Not very convenient especially for seniors

We didn't get a breakfast with ours. The day after we went to Fergus to try a restaurant. The room was very large and comfortable. The bed comfortable as well. We wouldn't mind returning and staying longer to try out the kitchen. The decor was very pretty.

Our only concern were the slippery bathmats. They should have a rubber backing. Someone could easily slip and Fall. Especially seniors like ourselves.

Fantastic communication from the hosts. Excellent location and perfectly maintained. And the town itself is wonderful as well! Can't say enough good things about this place.

The temperature was hard to get right throughout the whole place. Some windows could use some weather stripping to prevent draft.

The location was perfect, walking distance to everything. The loft was very well appointed, extremely clean and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Janet and Chris were very fast to respond to any questions and you could see the extra care they put into the unit. After finding out we were celebrating a special birthday they took the time to write a personal card and leave a treat.

This studio apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious. The bedding was pure luxury. The complimentary bottle of wine was appreciated, as was the coffee cream. I felt so cozy inside while it snowed outside! Another bonus was being able to walk everywhere, including restaurants, after parking the car.

The Netflix and Prime didn't work (I'm sure that can be fixed). The Suite is at the back of a building without street numbers at the front, which made it difficult to find. Knowing the name of the store at the front of the building would've made it much easier to navigate. And something out of the hosts' control: snow removal on the street happened between 1:30-2:30 am, accompanied by the truck's constant beeping as it backed up through the hour. It was awful: bring earplugs!

The property is well located and super comfortable and clean. It has everything you need, including coffee and cream. I highly recommend this property and will definitely stay there again.

Our hosts Janet and Chris were the best! Excellent communication prior to our stay, made our checkin seamless. The accommodations( both lofts) were so wonderful and very spacious. King size beds also! They even had a bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival! 10 out of 10 rating for sure

Only 1 coffee pod .. no biggie but a detail thing ... could use some wider black out curtains, the ones currently in place don't cover the windows completely both a privacy issue and light in the early am.

The only hitch was the TV.. couldn't get the TV to work..it was probably the internet..

Fantastic property with all the amenities right in the downtown. Everything is within walking distance. The unit is immaculate and very well appointed. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud! Just a perfect place all around. The hosts Janet and Chris are amazing and are very helpful! Will definitely stay here again!

The suite was right in the heart of downtown and very close to all the shops and activities. It was clean, welcoming, cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Having a kitchen and island offered a great option for drinks and snacks between activities. TV options for evening wind down was also bonus. Janet and Chris were wonderful to deal with and extremely responsive. All in all is was a great experience and we are planning a return trip.

The space and layout was great! Hosts were lovely and gave clear instructions. Fabulous location.

Everthing was as advertised

I liked the view of the water and how nice the place looked . Very cute . Our stay was very comfortable.

The location was very convenient. The space was cute and clean and the owners were nice and easy to get a hold of.

There is another unit above ours and they were super noisy until 3:00am. You could hear them walking around and playing extremely loud music. We were not able to use the 2nd bedroom because of the noise below and outside. Good thing we brought a noise machine for our little one to drown out some of the noise or we would have gotten NO sleep.

Beautiful suite and well thought out use of the space. Very close to downtown. We enjoyed the short walk to all the restaurants, trails and shops. Absolutely beautiful town and excellent accommodations.

The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the bed pillows because I need more neck support. I meant to bring my own, but forgot. Personal preference.

Close to Elora attractions without being in the middle of the busy streets. Quiet, even though there was a restaurant patio and canoe rental place between us and the river. Air conditioning was appreciated in a heat wave. Nice touch - they left a couple of bottles of water and a litre of coffee cream for us in the refrigerator.

Not their fault, but parking is awkward. We were lucky to usually get a space in the nearby municipal lot. The dining set up was at an island, with high chairs. Would have been more comfortable with a regular height table and chairs. Not the end of the world.

Everything that was advertised was there. It was super clean. Easy access to everything.

Shower was inexplicably slippery in one spot, just as you exited, right before stepping out. We didn't know that and as my mom was the first to shower, she slipped and fell. She did hurt her knees and her wrist, but did not feel any deep pain, so life went on. We did tell the owners about it to save some other person from falling.

Great location, phenomenal host. Went above and beyond to make our stay great!
