The only item people may want to know is there is a small but very steep set of stairs required to get in and out of the location as it is a basement apartment.

The entry stairs were a little challenging as they are steep but they are well lit and there is a secure handrail. I would have liked a safety railing in the shower but it was perfect otherwise.

Reviewed May 25, 2026The apartment was clean and beautifully decorated. Very spacious. Everything we needed was there. The king size bed was very comfortable with luxurious sheets. The owners have put a lot of thought into decorating and supplies. There is a fully equipped kitchen and we brought what we needed for breakfast. Coffee and coffee maker was provided. The hosts encouraged us to let them know if we needed anything.
The only negative was the steps at the entrance to the apartment. I guess we are considered elderly and found the steps a little awkward.

Overall, it was a good experience. Nothing I didn't like but next time I may try one of their other properties downtown.

Parking is easy and convenient and the property is a very short distance from town and close to the Elora Festival music venue called the Gambrel Barn.

The bed was very comfortable, the gas fireplace was much appreciated as it was quite cold outside. We would definitely stay here again.

Only wrinkle was the steep entrance stairs leading to the lower level. Not suitable for anyone of a certain age or mobility issues.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2025We were delighted with our stay! Our hosts, Janet and Chris have created such an elegant, comfy space and while the pictures are beautiful, it's even better in real time. They have paid meticulous attention to details to create extra comfort and coziness. This property is spotless. The Bed! The Sofa! Linens and Towels are all fabulous!! The extra amenities provided such as toiletries, a Keurig coffee machine together with Tim Hortons coffee, a well stocked kitchen, including 2 frozen beer mugs and ice prepared are just some (not all) of the well thought out extras provided that allowed us an absolutely wonderful, peaceful stay. This property is so tastefully decorated....it's lovely. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Janet and Chris 😊

The apartment was decorated to a very high standard, it was spotless and had all the essentials we could possibly need. The hosts were very friendly and provided all the information for our stay ahead of time. I would highly recommend staying here when visiting Elora.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property.

Reviewed Jun 14, 2025Everything! This property is one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. Everything was beautifully furnished with all the amenities you could possibly need. The bed was honestly the most comfortable bed ever, and we’ve been travelling for many months now! The owners are wonderful and the grounds are lovely and peaceful. So close to some really nice walks and a few minutes drive to the quaint time of Elora. Would highly recommend :)

Reviewed Apr 15, 2025The Airbnb was in the basement, although you would never know it as there is so much light. It is perfectly decorated and has everything you could possibly think of. Although we only stayed one night, we are hoping to return for an extended stay. The bedroom is spacious and decorated beautifully decorated. The livingroom/ dining room combination is so comforting and welcoming and includes a gas fire place. the kitchen offers everything you could wish for and our hosts were very thoughtful and provided bottles of water, coffee cream and a keurig. The bathroom was luxurious, and also included a separate makeup mirror and desk. A washer and dryer combo is available and our hosts provided laundry detergent and softener. We immensely enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return visit!
The only difficulty we had was with the water pressure for the toilet, but that was a hit and miss problem.

The only thing we didn't like is that we couldn't stay longer. For those wanting to go to the Elora Quarry- make sure to book tickets online in advance, as those sell out quickly on the wknds.

The kitchen was well equipped with a kuerig coffee maker, coffee pods and fresh cream and milk in the fridge. The oversized sofa was sooo comfortable! The king size bed was very comfortable. We also had access to a cozy looking patio in the well kept backyard. An all round very homey and comfortable apartment.
The apartment was spacious enough for one or two more waste baskets.

The space is located in the basement but there are a lot of big, bright windows. There is a full kitchen and laundry is available too. The bed was super comfortable and very large!
Being in the basement we expected some noise, but it was very noisy for a few hours later in the night. Sounded like furniture was being moved around.
