Noise at night from outside (every night), hot room since ac is weak, isolation if windows not good hence we could hear everything, light that comes in, beds and pillow so very uncomfortable, shower small

The host Kristina was exceptionally friendly and helpful, giving detailed instructions for check-in, tipps for restaurants and offered a late checkout. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back!

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Excellent location near the lake. Close to restaurants, shops and not far from the main railway station. Clean, tastefully decorated apartment that has a modern kitchen and bathroom with Miele washer and dryer. Secure, private and quiet.
Key pickup was from a hotel close by, but finding the apartment was slightly confusing.

Reviewed Jan 1, 2026The location was excellent. The apartment was really warm, cosy with refined decoration. The kitchen was fully equipped. Moreover, the owner had taken care of everything and made sure our stay was unforgettable. We are grateful for the free late check-in and the treats that awaited us for New Year' Day. Thanks for everything!

Reviewed Sep 16, 2025Beautifully appointed, comfortable, clean. Grateful for washer/dryer. Great location (once we figured out the funicular to station!) We would stay there again and highly recommend.
No instructions given at key pick up (in nearby hotel) as to where exactly or how to enter the apartment building. We asked some people who were familiar with the building, and they showed us the entrance and how to use the key fob. Finally inside, we found entrance instructions on the table! Frustrating but also humorous. Suggestion: have instructions with visuals at the hotel key pickup or send to guest once booking is made.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2025Loved the excellent location. It was an easy stroll to shops, restaurants and the lake. Host replied promptly to any questions by text and kindly organized a taxi for us on our departure day.
Was a little flummoxed by the washing machine and tumble dryer which 'talked' to me only in German! Also, couldn't find any instructions re the air conditioning but maybe we didn't search hard enough. We're not very technically 'au fait'!

The only problem was to find a spot to briefly park when picking up the keys for the apartment at a nearby hotel. Other than that, everything was very smooth!

Reviewed Apr 25, 2023Excellent location, central and practical to go around. The apartment is well furnished, all spaces were intelligently optimized for a one-room attic apartment.
Being a refurbished attic, most windows are small; hence there was a bit of a lack of natural light (there is just one actual door/window facing the balcony). A bit too much traffic sometime on the street was annoying, but the isolation was rather good keeping noises out.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2022Located in a very center on Lugano (behind the Casino) 2m from the lake and boat station, 2m from the park 3m from MC Donalds :D Parking was good in a underground garage and elevator leading to the app. Kitchen was equipped with required appliences (very cool ones Miele), complimentray tea and coffee (very kind!) Laundary and drying machines were located in a bathroom. Shampoo and soap present. Clean towels. Balcony view on a mountain and a park side. Host was very kind and helpful, thanks Kristina and Marco for great advices.
Too small time we had in Lugano. The rest was good
