Reviewed Sep 6, 2026A truly wonderful stay in an exceptional location, with a breathtaking view of the Matterhorn and just a few steps from the river - the gentle sound of the flowing water was incredibly relaxing. The apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. We greatly appreciated the hosts’ kindness, warmth and flexibility with our requests. A special thank you to the two lovely ladies we met at the reception, who were very welcoming and helpful. Everything was perfect, and we would be delighted to return.

Die Studio liegt im Erdgeschoss mit Fenster zur Strasse. Kein Lärm aber Leute laufen sehr nahe vorbei. Man soll es einfach wissen. Hat mich nicht gestört.

Best place I have stayed throughout my tour of Switzerland. Zermatt village is fabulous and the scenery/hikes are breathtaking. Gornergrat hike was spectacular

Our apartment was very stinky and outdated. The sofa had stains and holes. Spiderwebs everywhere. Even we paid 200chf there is no shampoo in the bathroom, tried to contact the owner by phone and sms and no response. Reception only open 1h per day.

The beds were pretty cheap and not comfortable. No proper quality towels in the bathroom. The carpets were dirty, the bathroom was sub-standard. No hosts or anyone at reception to ask a question.

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026My husband and I rented a studio apartment. It was very comfortable for 2 people. The unit had a nice kitchen which we only used for breakfast. The location was fantastic for accessing the Furi Gondola. It was a 10 min walk into the center of town.
The facility had a spa. My husband and I were looking forward to using the jacuzzi after skiing but the water was not hot. We were very disappointed in the water temperature and since there was an extra fee to use the facility we did not come back after the first day. The hostess was very nice but she never carried through on any requests. I received an email before arriving stating the receptionist would be available from 5-6pm everyday. There was never anyone at the reception desk. We had to send emails which went unanswered. On day one, I asked for a standard coffee maker. I was told it would be brought to the room. I never received it even after having sent several follow-up emails. The hostess offered to provide me with taxi information for our departure but she never followed up. The place is nice just don't expect any support beyond getting the room keys.

Reviewed Mar 1, 2026The Key is a card, and it was in a mail box with my name. The location is very near a major sky lift. The apartment was quite new and clean.
I was surprised by the lack of basic hospitality for a property charging over 200 CHF per night. First, the reception was unattended despite the hours posted on the chart. Because there was no staff present, I couldn't access the advertised amenities like the sauna and pool. I also needed guidance on where to store my luggage on departure day, but there was no one around to ask. Regarding the room, while the kitchen was fairly equipped, it felt very bare-bones. There was no welcome tea or coffee, not even a basic tea bag. There was no soap in the bathroom and only half a roll of toilet paper. At this price point, providing these small essentials wouldn't hurt their profit margin, but their absence makes the stay feel quite cheap. I expected much more for over 200 CHF per night.

洗濯乾燥機が動かなくて電話してもつながらなかった。 草取りをしていた人がオーナーらしくて自宅の乾燥機で乾かしてもらったのはよかったけれど、2日後に張り紙も何もしてないのでお金を入れて乾燥しようと思ったらまだ治ってないようで動かずお金も返ってきませんでした。管理人が常駐していないので連絡が取れないことが不便でした。

The place was little uphill from the station and we didn't know we can take taxis. It was a task moving the luggages up. Paid hotel pickup would make life easier.

Reviewed Jan 14, 2026We stayed as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) in an apartment with one bedroom + extra beds in the living room. The apartment was in good condition and fully met our needs. We had some issues with getting the stove to work properly, and when we contacted the owners they responded very quickly and brought a technician, and offered us the opportunity to use the kitchen in another apartment for cooking. We enjoyed using the spa (jacuzzi and sauna) in the evenings.
The apartment was very warm and we were not able to lower the heating. Next time we will wear shorts indoors rather than ski gear! :) Everything else worked very well.

Reviewed Jan 7, 2026The building is located nearby to a ski lift, not far from the center of the village, nor from shops, all easily and conveniently nearby. The apartment itself is superb, it has all that you need and if it does not have any particular item, you can ask for it (we asked for a raclette set). The building has a ski room downstairs. The place is quite quiet, even though you can hear some specific noises from other apartments (chairs being dragged on a floor, etc.). There is also a person there in the afternoon for an hour to discuss, if needed. Overall, good value for the (nothing is really cheap in Zermatt).

There is also a great ski locker room below though we ended up using the ski depot at the chairlift. The apartment is very close to the main ski lift up to matterhorn paradise as well as walking distance to the center.
The apartment is situated between 2 bus stops and is equally far from both making it a little tricky to get to without shuttle on the first and last day.

Reviewed Oct 28, 2025Apartments were clean and spacious enough. The kitchen was good and made it easy to cook food to save money as restaurants are very expensive in Switzerland. Plenty of cooking utensils and I was glad they kept previous users oil and spices within the cupboards. Beds were clean, bathroom had good pressure, no complaints for me as a solo traveller. Will happily stay here again.
Not a dislike as I didn't have any issues - but should be noted that reception hours are limited so make sure you have local data to be able to contact the owners.

Reviewed Oct 5, 2025Wir konnten den Schlüssel zum Haus unkompliziert in Empfang nehmen und unser Appartement betreten. Ein geräumiges, schön eingerichtetes Appartement mit einer großen Terrasse und Bergblick, hat uns erwartet. Es war sehr sauber, wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, modern, auch das Bad war makellos. Wir hatten zu jeder Zeit das Gefühl willkommen zu sein. Der Weg zum Dorfzentrum, entlang der Mattervispa, ist schön und schnell zu erreichen, ebenfalls befindet sich eine Bäckerei auf diesem Weg. Die Seilbahnstation "Glacier Paradise", ist 5 Minuten entfernt und die "Gornerschlucht" ist ein nahes Ziel. Es war ruhig und doch zentral gelegen. Für einen weiteren Besuch in Zermatt, würden wir diese Unterkunft erneut auswählen.

Reviewed Sep 19, 2025Bezogen auf die Bergbahnen sehr gut gelegene Ferienwohnung, Süd-Balkon mit Blick auf Matterhorn. Gut ausgestattet und geräumig, ruhig. Bau ca. aus den 80er-Jahren.
Kochherd dürfte etwas besser funktionieren. Die Zeit, bis die Pfanne heiss ist, dauert ewig. Sonst aber alles bestens.

Never seen the host as key to the room was ready and waiting in the box. Everything clean and looks new. Only thing check out time a bit harsh 9am ( never asked maybe could later). Price pretty good for Zermatt.
