Great communication with Landlord and his wife. They were keeping in contact with us and gave us proper instructions on how to reach the property and how to use amenities. He was so nice, helped with water and fresh towels every day and when we had issues with the drain, he immediately came up and help. We had laundry included and helped up a lot during our travels View is outstanding, we were at floor 20. Unfortunately we weren;t there on a saturday to catch the drone show. The Mall and metro station are just a 10/15 min walk up the street and the harbour for the boat tour is a 30 min walk on the riverwalk.

Die Lage ist wirklich top – Hongyadong ist gleich um die Ecke. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gepflegt, dazu angenehm geräumig. Besonders schön war der Blick auf die beiden Flüsse bei Nacht – einfach das Fenster aufmachen und genießen. Auch die Anbindung ist super praktisch. Insgesamt hatten wir einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Bon espace avec une très belle vue, les lits sont grands et confortables, la climatisation est fonctionnelle.

Les photos ne sont pas représentatives de ce que l'appartement est réellement, pareil pour la superficie habitable, on est plus sur du 40m2. L'isolation est aussi moyenne, on entend la chambre voisine ou la machine à laver qui se trouve dans un couloir.

Świetne miejsce na pobyt w Chongqing! Apartament był bardzo czysty, przestronny i komfortowy, a widok z okna na rzekę i miasto robił ogromne wrażenie. Lokalizacja jest bardzo wygodna — blisko Hongyadong i wielu ciekawych miejsc, więc można sporo zwiedzić pieszo. Wieczorem widok na rozświetlone miasto jest naprawdę piękny. Wszystko było zgodne z opisem i zdjęciami. Bardzo udany pobyt!

Die gebuchte Unterkunft entspricht in keinster Weise den Bildern auf Booking. Dies ist eher Touri Napp und Abzocke als eine adäquate Unterkunft gebucht zu haben für diesen Preis. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Das einzige was gut ist, ist die Aussicht vom dreckigen Balkon.

Die Wohnung war dreckig, in der Küchenzeile wurde Müll gelagert, die Waschmaschine war nur ekelig dreckig, Fenster und Türen ließen sich nicht schließen da sie defekt waren, ein Nagel schaute aus dem Boden ( Verletzungsgefahr). Die Duschen waren schimmelig und verkalkt. Eine Wohnung in der man keinen Tag oder Nacht verbringen möchte.

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt in diesem Apartment. Besonders beeindruckend war die Aussicht – vom Balkon und durch die großen bodentiefen Fenster hat man einen fantastischen Blick auf den Fluss und die Stadt. Das Apartment ist geräumig, gemütlich und sehr sauber. Alles war gepflegt und wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Auch die Lage ist sehr praktisch, da viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, darunter Hongyadong, schnell und bequem erreichbar sind. Leider wurde die Drohnenshow am Abend unserer Ankunft aufgrund des Wetters abgesagt. Trotzdem war die Aussicht so schön, dass sich der Aufenthalt für uns absolut gelohnt hat. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten und können das Apartment definitiv weiterempfehlen!

Absolutely perfect in every aspect. The location could not be better: a very short walk from Chaotianmen Metro Station Exit 5, a fantastic view overlooking the confluence of rivers for the Chongqing Drone Show on Saturdays, a brief walk along the river to Hongya Cave, and many food shops nearby. Facility wise, all of the usual amenities plus a beautiful balcony with a washing machine and a giant 8-foot diagonal TV. The price: a tenth of what one would pay in any other city for much, much more. Absolutely recommend!

A really enjoyable stay in Chongqing. The hotel is very close to Hongyadong, so it was easy to walk around the area and explore the city at night. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the river and Chongqing skyline. The highlight was definitely seeing the drone show from the hotel area — it was surprisingly impressive and really beautiful against the night sky. The staff were friendly and communication was easy. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Chongqing for the first time, especially if Hongyadong, river views, and the Chongqing drone show are on your itinerary.

The location wad outstanding, we could admire the drone show from our balcony and from two bedrooms. Raffles City which is on crossing distance which gives several food options from gourmet restaurants through international and local fast food. I have never seen a Pizza Hut who also serves steak. Public transportation is also within walking distance. Be ware of climbing stairs since this is an area with mountains, but also breathtaking views.

I think that over three years the neighborhood will be much improved since there are construction signs and building improvement plans. In general, we felt comfortable walking on the street in the evening. One morning I ordered steam buns at an auntie, but I had payment problems (internet connection was not my ally). She gave me our breakfast in advance. At first, she would give me the steam buns for free, since she misunderstood my order for noodles. I told her that ee just stayed upstairs and that I will pay after breakfast and she agrees to it. Chinese people are so kind.

Az erkélyről és a hálószobákból csodálatosan gyönyörű kilátás nyílik a folyóra és a felhőkarcolókra. Nagyon szép a kivilágítás amit az apartmanból kiválóan lehet látni. Elképesztően gyönyörű! Mindenkinek szívből ajánlom! Minden szobában és a nappaliban is külön szabályozható klíma van. A hűtőszekrénynek is nagyon örültünk.

Der Blick auf die Drohnenshow war einfach wunderschön! Von der Unterkunft aus konnten wir die Show ganz bequem sehen, ohne irgendwo hinfahren oder lange nach einem guten Platz suchen zu müssen. Die Lichter am Nachthimmel waren beeindruckend und die ganze Atmosphäre einfach traumhaft. Ein wirklich besonderes Erlebnis in Chongqing!

Staying here was truly great! The room was very clean, cozy, and well-decorated, and the view of Chongqing from the window was stunning. The location is perfect, especially if you want to see Hongyadong in the evening—everything is close by. I also really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the pleasant interaction with the host. It was definitely one of the best places I stayed during my trip to China.

Had a really good stay here! The view was honestly unreal — Hongyadong and the river right outside the window, especially at night when everything lights up. Ce séjour avait quelque chose de vraiment spécial. J’ai surtout aimé cette sensation d’être au cœur de Chongqing tout en ayant un espace calme pour soi. La vue depuis la chambre est magnifique, particulièrement le soir lorsque les lumières de la ville s’allument. L’endroit est propre, confortable et agréable, mais c’est surtout l’atmosphère qui m’a marqué : on a presque envie de rester à la fenêtre sans rien faire, simplement regarder la ville vivre. Une très belle expérience.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Everything felt very clean and well cared for, and the room was comfortable from the moment I walked in. What I loved most was the view — seeing the river, the city lights and Hongyadong from the room made the evenings feel quite special. Sitting by the window and simply watching Chongqing at night was one of my favourite moments of the stay.

Unbeatable location right next to Hongyadong, offering stunning views of the Jialing River right from the window. The room was spotlessly clean and very cozy, with great attention to detail. A very pleasant stay in Chongqing. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well maintained, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The view was definitely the highlight — beautiful views over the river and Hongyadong, especially in the evening when all the lights come on. A great place to experience Chongqing while still having a clean and peaceful place to come back to.

I had a wonderful stay here. The room was spotless, comfortable, and even better than the photos. The floor-to-ceiling window was definitely the highlight—you can enjoy an incredible view of Hongyadong and the rivers without even leaving the room. At night, the city lights create an unforgettable atmosphere. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Hongyadong and Jiefangbei, with plenty of great local restaurants nearby. The host was friendly, responsive, and gave us some fantastic local recommendations. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Chongqing.

Leider hatte das Appartement keine Küche noch Utensilien, wo man eine Kleinigkeit (Kaffee, kleines Frühstück) hätte zubereiten können. Des Weiteren hatte ein Toilette einen unangenehmen Geruch, was den Gesamteindruck getrübt hat.

Nous avons eu un véritable coup de cœur pour cet hébergement. Dès notre arrivée, tout était parfaitement organisé et nous nous sommes sentis les bienvenus. L'appartement est spacieux, très confortable et parfaitement équipé. La literie est excellente et rien ne manque pour un séjour de plusieurs jours : lave-linge, bouilloire, réfrigérateur, produits de toilette… tout est pensé pour que l'on se sente comme chez soi. Le point fort est sans aucun doute la vue. Depuis les grandes baies vitrées et le balcon, on profite d'un panorama exceptionnel sur les deux rivières, le célèbre pont et les lumières de Chongqing. Le soir, le spectacle est tellement magnifique que nous avons préféré rester admirer le paysage plutôt que sortir. Rien que pour cette vue, nous reviendrions sans hésiter. L'hôte a été d'une grande gentillesse et toujours très réactif. La communication a été simple avant et pendant le séjour, l'accueil était chaleureux et chaque demande a reçu une réponse immédiate. Un adaptateur électrique nous a même été prêté dès notre arrivée, ce qui nous a énormément dépannés, mis à disposition. Enfin, l'emplacement est idéal. Les principaux sites touristiques sont accessibles à pied et l'on trouve tout autour de nombreux restaurants, cafés et commerces. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans la moindre hésitation. Si nous revenons à Chongqing, nous choisirons certainement cet appartement de nouveau.

Stayed here with a group of friends and had an amazing experience! The location couldn't be better—it's just a short walk to Raffles City and the famous Hongyadong, so we could shop during the day and enjoy the incredible night views without going far. The apartment was spotless, and everything was well-maintained and fully equipped. The host was incredibly helpful, giving us clear directions for taxis and the metro, which made getting around Chongqing super easy. Clean, comfortable, and convenient—I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Chongqing, especially international travelers.

We had an absolutely brilliant stay here! The location is spot on—just a short stroll from Hongyadong, putting you right in the centre of Chongqing's vibrant atmosphere. Despite the bustling surroundings outside, the room itself is very quiet. Worst experience in China so far. In over 20 years visiting China.

When we arrived the apartment was very different from any of the pictures on booking.com. There was not even a slight comparison. The host indicated that he has other apartments that look like that but this one not. When we indicated we did not like it, room view over an old dirty washing machine, he became quite agressive of tone. We felt uncomfortable and told him we would leave. So we ended up on the street looking for alternatives with a very unfriendly host watching over us. Then they refused to refund even though the apartment looked nothing like the listing. It really demotivated us to book outside know chains, even though there are so many great independent places in China. Nothing but a scam this one. Then they reported us a no show to booking charging our cards fully.

Am meisten hat mich jedoch die herzliche Gastfreundschaft beeindruckt: Von den hilfreichen Hinweisen vor der Anreise bis hin zu den praktischen Tipps während unseres Aufenthalts haben wir uns rundum wie zu Hause gefühlt. Auch die Lage ist hervorragend, man erreicht die Hongyadong-Höhle ganz bequem zu Fuß.

Le jour du départ, ne me sentant pas très bien, j'ai demandé s'il était possible de libérer la chambre un peu plus tard. Il a accepté sans aucune hésitation, s'assurant simplement que cela ne gênait pas les clients suivants 🙏. Une telle bienveillance est rare et précieuse ! Le petit plus : Juste à côté de l'hôtel, il y a un endroit magnifique avec une vue superbe, idéal pour les photos. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir et recommandons cet établissement à 100 %

The host met us even though it was past 2 am in the morning and helped us with our luggage. The view from the apartment is magnificent, overlooking the river.

We did not realise it is not a hotel but a private apartment but in the end everything worked out well.

To be honest, when we first pulled up, the building itself looked a bit average and dated from the outside. But mate, once you step inside the actual room, it’s a whole different story! The place is absolutely gorgeous—super clean, comfy, and the view of the river is unreal. You've got the Grand Theatre right across the water and Raffles City just on the right. Perfect spot for exploring Hongyadong, too. The host was a legend, heap of help with everything, so no worries at all. Stoked we booked this one.

La ubicación es simplemente perfecta, justo al lado del muelle de Chaotianmen y literalmente a orillas del río. Las vistas desde la habitación son espectaculares tanto de día como de noche; es difícil encontrar un lugar mejor para disfrutar del paisaje de Chongqing. Además, moverse por la ciudad es muy cómodo. La estación de metro está a solo unos minutos caminando y también es muy fácil conseguir un taxi en cualquier momento. La habitación estaba impecablemente limpia y muy bien cuidada, lo que hizo que nuestra estancia fuera especialmente cómoda y agradable. Pero lo que más nos impresionó fue el servicio del anfitrión. Fue increíblemente atento y amable: respondía a cualquier pregunta casi al instante, nos recomendó excelentes restaurantes locales e incluso nos ayudó a planificar nuestras rutas por la ciudad. Realmente nos hizo sentir como en casa. Sin duda volveremos a alojarnos aquí la próxima vez que visitemos Chongqing. ¡Totalmente recomendado!

Die Lage der Wohnung ist einfach top – der perfekte Ort für die Drohnenshow! Wir hatten echt Glück, dass wir an einem Samstag angereist sind. Das Zimmer war super sauber und ordentlich. Der Gastgeber war total freundlich, hat auf Nachrichten immer blitzschnell geantwortet und uns sogar direkt am Eingang empfangen.

Such a great find! Location is 10/10 with Jiefangbei and the subway right there. The host was sweet enough to meet me at the entrance, so finding the place was super easy. The room looks great—really chill, not too flashy, and just super comfortable to sleep in. Great overall vibe, loved it!

Spacious apartment - quite plain and minimal but fine, though the main apartment building was not well cared for. It’s a 10 min walk to the subway, but there are loads of stairs - if you are planning to walk know that stairs are part of the deal in this hilly area. A little more attention to detail would go a long way :)

Visiting this Hongyadong branch was a highlight of our trip! The atmosphere perfectly captures the magic of Chongqing. We managed to get a fantastic spot with a gorgeous view of the river and the iconic stilt houses. The service was prompt and friendly, and the quality of the offerings was top-notch. It’s the perfect place to relax, soak in the cyberpunk energy of the city, and enjoy a great time. Will definitely be coming back!

The photo's under the category deluxe room with balcony did not compare with the actual room, and the facilities displayed were nothing like what the room offered. The bed was like a concrete floor .Not even a coffee cup to make a coffee i had to use a glass cup but there was a jug. The room was old and had unfinished paint work near the bathroom the walls were not clean. The building itself was disgusting rubbish everywhere untidy and old. The only good was the balcony views.

The location is fantastic and within walking distance of many of Chongqing's main attractions, including Hongya Cave and Raffles City Chongqing. Everything was very convenient to reach. The host was extremely attentive and always replied very quickly through WeChat whenever we had a question or needed assistance. Another great bonus is that there are several bubble tea shops and one of Chongqing's famous noodle restaurants right across from the building, making it easy to grab breakfast, lunch, or a late-night snack. The combination of the excellent location, responsive host, and plenty of food options nearby made this a great place to stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Chongqing

Cleanliness left a lot to be desired and facilities were over advertised. Also we needed to put multiple blankets on the bed for it to be "sleep able" cos the mattresses were too hard.

Doch beim Betreten der Unterkunft wurden wir komplett positiv überrascht! Das Apartment ist eine moderne Wohlfühloase: extrem geschmackvoll eingerichtet und tadellos sauber. Durch die bodentiefen 180-Grad-Fenster hat man eine fantastische, ungehinderte Sicht auf den Fluss und die spektakuläre Nachtbeleuchtung von Hongyadong. Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein (nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß bis Jiefangbei) und der Butler-Service war absolut professionell und blitzschnell erreichbar. Trotz der älteren Fassade eine absolute 10 von 10!
