Sauber und netter Kontakt mi Vermieterin, die gleich nebenan wohnt.

Man hört Tag und Nacht die sehr laute Schnellstraße. Es ist wahnsinnig feucht, so dass nichtmal die Handtücher über Nacht trocknen. Das WC tropft ununterbrochen direkt neben dem Bett. Das Bett ist durchgelegen. Zwischen Bad und Schlafzimmer ist eine sinnlose Schiebetür eingebaut, die jede (akkustische) Privatsphäre verhindert. Das Letunswasser ist ungenießbar, unbedingt Flaschenwasser zum Trinken mitbringen! Es gibt keinen Bettbezug, die Bettdecke ist einfach zwischen zwei Bettlaken gelegt - sehr unhygienisch - in 30 Jahren Reisetätigkeit haben wir das System noch nirgends auf der Welt gehabt.

It was cosy. It was clean. I liked that it had kitchen with a cooker,fridge and microwave.

L'appartamento è delizioso come promesso nell'annuncio: pulito, dotato di una cucina molto fornita (ci sono addirittura gli adattatori di corrente), di lavatrice (con due capsule di detersivo gentilmente in omaggio) e tutto quanto c'è in descrizione. Abbiamo trovato anche un gradito piccolo kit di benvenuto con biscotti e snacks. La posizione è perfetta per Donegal Town (piena di supermercati) o per raggiungere la costa ed è a un'ora di macchina dal parco nazionale. Ann è una proprietaria discreta e gentile, inoltre il self check in ci ha permesso di arrivare senza fretta durante il nostro viaggio itinerante.

Come in tutti gli appartamenti irlandesi in affitto o le camere nelle guest house, d'estate i riscaldamenti sono spenti. Poiché piove praticamente ogni giorno, l'appartamento piccolo non smaltisce bene l'umidità: in aggiunta, basta una doccia e preparare la cena che l'umidità aumenta parecchio, asciugamani e canovacci praticamente non si asciugano mai. Questa è davvero l'unica pecca. Consiglio, inoltre, alla proprietaria di mettere un tappetino per la cucina.

Excellent location, just off a main highway. Very close to Donegal town. Extremely comfortable, very clean, and well stocked with basic kitchen equipment. The owner is very kind and helpful with great communication.

It took me far too long to find the Oven On switch, but that is mostly because I am unfamiliar with the Irish kitchen, and had I asked, I would have been told exactly where it was.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin die sich diskret, aber mit grossem Wohlwollen um unser Wohlfühlen bemüht hat. Gute Ausstattung des Appartments inklusvie vielen Küchenutensilien, Pflegeprodukten, Putzsachen und einigen Snacks (kein Frühstückskorb wie es das Foto erwarten lässt). Unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe via Schlüsselbox. Parkmöglichkeiten vor der Haustür.

Kein Fenster im Schlafzimmer & Badezimmer. Dezenter Lärm von der Schnellstrasse bei geöffneten Fenstern. Das Bett ist etwas klein (ca. 140 cm).

Vriendelijk ontvangen door de hostess. Modern appartement, van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijke elektrische douche. Lekkere koffie.

Smal, zeer wiebelig en zacht tweepersoonsbed. Het pand ligt dichtbij een drukke weg, waardoor je geluidshinder hebt. Er is geen kapstok voor je jassen.

Tutto perfetto, host gentilissimi subito pronti a qualsiasi domanda. Grande cucina dotata di tutto, parcheggio comodissimo.

The location and setting were fantastic. The host was amazing, helpful and kind. The accommodation was great with plenty of space and just a couple of minutes drive to centre of town.

A very well appointed apartment with everything needed to cook a meal! In a great location close to shops.

Très bon séjour d’une nuit dans cet appartement bien équipé. Le chauffage nous attendait comme demandé au vu des températures très fraîches. Très bon accueil.

L’emplacement se trouvait à seulement cinq minutes en voiture de Donegal, ce qui était très pratique. La propriété était impeccablement propre et la cuisine très bien équipée. La présence d’une laveuse était également un atout, car elle nous a permis de faire une lessive avant notre départ.

L'appartamento è esattamente come da foto (anzi meglio, le foto non rendono), facilissimo da raggiungere, caldo ed accogliente. Cucina fornita di tutto (padelle e pentole incluse), informazioni ed indicazioni utili per gite nei dintorni vicino al divano (comodissimo, come il letto). In definitiva, lo stra-consigliamo!

Brilliant stay at robins nest. It has everything you would need! Fully equipped kitchen and comfortable surrounds. A huge thanks to the host Ann who was so responsive and flexible pre stay. Thank you so much for the little touches left for us, was great to have some supplies.

Had an amazing visit to the Robins Nest. Situated in a beautiful countryside setting. Spotless clean and very warm. Near to shops. Just what I needed after a tough few days.

Lovely place to stay, spotless and comfortable bed. We didn't cook but looked to have everything you would need to cook meals. Five minute drive to Donegal town centre. Would recommend & will stay again in future, 😁

Quiet, standalone apartment, ample parking, lovely big lawns and garden. Snacks and breakfast cereals left for us.

Good communication from host. Small self contained property next to the owners house. Well equipped and very clean and tidy.

Some form of indication from the road regarding where the property was would have been helpful as it's not clear where the property is unless you rely on the postcode provided. A small (temporary?) sign by the entrance would have been helpful.

Nice location. Quiet and comfortable. Cordial host and cutest, well-behaved little dog to greet us in the morning. Great recommendations about what to do locally.

Very far from the airport. Absolutely need a rental car. No public transportation, buses, trains, or taxi service. Finding out these things completely altered our plans and increased costs drastically. Beach walk from location was much further than expected--and there was no beach view.

This is a beautiful and very private and comfortable guest house. The host was so gracious and the little dog was a very special and sweet surprise guest! The area is also very lovely and so close to the center of Donegal and many worthwhile things to see and do. I would highly recommend this rental for your travels!

The property was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Anne came to meet us when she got home. She is a lovely host, very helpful. I would definitely recommend Robin’s Nest, it’s not far from Donegal at all.

Self catering, however host did leave some breakfast provisions which was appreciated. Spacious, clean and comfortable.

Lovely host, very helpful and has everything you'd need inside. Used the taxi number provided who was lovely.

Only downside was the pillows/top of the bed. Found it to be uncomfortable but I'm fussy with most pillows. So probably not an issue for most people.

We found it difficult to initially locate the property. It could have benefitted from additional directions, e.g take the (named) road out of donegal, look for sign for Dromore etc.

Great location, comfortable and clean. Anne is a gem and her little dog too. Well stocked kitchen. You'll want a car as it's a little way out of town. Washer and clothes line available for drying.

Pillows were pretty hard, bathroom sink doesn't drain (notified her so hopefully that's fixed.)

Ann was a welcoming and lovely host who was particularly helpful when I needed to go to A&E! The annexe was well equipped and clean. A washing machine was a great bonus as we were travelling around Donegal. Great location close to the N56 making access to walks, relatives and tourist attractions very easy. Friendly and very well behaved dog was another bonus!!

Never ever could find the hotel, nor contacting them, apart from a mail which never was replied to. They use the same name as an Hotel in Ardara, to which people go to instead faultily, because there's no other informations on the net. According to the Aradara's hotel manager, I'm not the first person in that situation. This is borderline fraudulent. Beware.

Robin’s Nest was a self-catering apartment. It had all the amenities for a very comfortable stay and was spotlessly clean. Ann was a great host - proactive with communication and very friendly and welcoming. It is close to Donegal town but very private and peaceful. Would recommend a stay here!

Lovely owner (& dog) - former super helpful; latter super affectionate...Really enjoyed going to the pier & swimming in the sea nearby. Saw a Little Egret there.
