Mi è piaciuta la camera come era arredata, la terrazza con una vista spettacolare, la colazione davvero buona, ma anche l' ospitalità dell'host.

La camera purtroppo non è assolutamente insonorizzata, sembra di stare in strada, tra macchine e cani che litigano. Ci sarebbe la necessità di una zanzariera, in quanto le zanzare entrano in camera e può risultare fastidioso. Le tende non sono assolutamente sufficienti per oscurare un minimo la camera durante la notte.

Alles aan het appartement was fijn; een heerlijk bed, grote badkamer en een balkon met uitzicht. Ook het ontbijt was heel goed en werd op het balkon gebracht. Toen ik verder reisde, heeft de host het ontbijt voor me ingepakt, me geholpen met de busreis vanuit Ella en zelfs geregeld dat de bus een stop maakte voor de deur. Het was een perfect verblijf!

Camera in legno molto bella, con ogni comfort. Vista mozzafiato sul verde. Colazione TOP! La migliore di tutta la nostra vacanza. Staff gentilissimo e pronto ad aiutarti per ogni necessità. Ci sono venuti a prendere dalla stazione dei treni gratuitamente con il tuk tuk.

La pulizia potrebbe essere migliorata. Rumori che provenivano dalla strada adiacente. Poltrone ingombranti davanti al letto che rubano spazio alla camera ed ostacolano la spettacolare vista dal letto.

The view is really astonishing. The bed was really comfortable. The room was really clean. The staff was really helpful.

We did not like that we could hear many noises from outside and the next room. One improvement can also be to have a curtain on the bathroom.

Vista spettacolare e balcone molto vivibile. Letto gigante. Molto buona anche la colazione. Staff super gentile e amichevole. Davvero consigliato in quanto rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. La posizione è piuttosto comoda, circa 400 m distante dal centro, dove ci sono tutti i ristoranti.

Habitación agradable con desayuno en la terraza a la hora que elegíamos. Vistas increíbles. Baño amplio.

La terraza tenía una bañera que no funcionaba. El frigorífico tampoco funcionaba.

La colazione servita sul balcone affacciato nel bel mezzo della giungla! Il vero punto top della struttura è la vista mozzafiato ed il fatto che sia immersa nella natura! La doccia aveva un ottimo getto ed era calda ( non del tutto scontato qui) Unica cosa che il piatto doccia è un tutt'uno con il pavimento però qui è spesso così. Per il resto tt ok ,lo staff è stato molto gentile la colazione era ottima e la posizione perfetta e centrale. Davvero meraviglioso per la posizione nella giungla!

Preciosa Guest House bien cerquita del centro de Ella (4 min caminando como mucho). Pero lo suficientemente apartada para no oír el ruido de la actividad nocturna. Con vistas increíbles a la roca de Ella. Todo estaba limpio y muy bonito. La ducha en el techo una pasada.El desayuno en la habitación riquísimo! Además nos ayudaron a conseguir un tuktuk con un conductor muy amable para ir a visitar el templo, os lo recomiendo! ¡Muchas gracias por todo!

Great views of Ella Rock from the balcony! Clean and spacious with kind staff who organised guides and drivers. Just an FYI, there is no common room or foyer. Rooms are directly off the open air corridor. It’s fine and I felt safe, just something to note.

It’s a short walk into town which is fine during the day but it’s a bit nervewracking at night with all the traffic, no streetlights and no footpath.

Absolutely loved staying at Ella Country House. It is just a few minutes walk to the centre of Ella and just far enough away for peace and quiet. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable. The breakfast on the deck was a real highlight-with stunning views of Ella rock and plentiful and delicious food. Unfortunately, I had an early bus, but a packed breakfast-to-go was provided very early. I read some comments about the noise of traffic coming up the hill. I did not find the noise level a problem. It is generally only during the daytime and I didn’t need the earplugs that were provided.

One of my best stays in Sri Lanka.

Lugar maravilloso, la habitación es espectacular, tiene unas vistas de ensueño, la cama es comodisima, el baño amplio y limpio con ducha y bañera. Tiene nevera y una terraza con vistas impresionantes. El desayuno estaba buenísimo y las personas muy atentas y hospitalarias. Muy bien ubicado para ir andando al centro y con parking privado. Muchas gracias.

Nice accommodation, I wish we had gotten a room upstairs, but our room downstairs also had a really beautiful view. Very large bed and comfortable pillows, very friendly staff, breakfast is brought to the room and served on the terrace. Spacious bathroom, excellent shower with hot water, and there is a mini fridge.

La habitación superior con vistas es espectacular. El desayuno es fantástico y muy abundante. El personal es muy agradable. Está apenas a 5 minutos andando del centro pero cuesta arriba. No es algo negativo, ya que te permite alejarte del bullicio del centro y tener unas vistas tremendas. Lo ideal es subir en tuk tuk y bajar caminando.

Piękny widok, śniadanie do pokoju, wszystkie udogodnienia jak moskitiera, suszarka, lodówka. Na tarasie również suoer leżaki z widokiem na góry.

Troszkę słychać z korytarzu i światło pod wieczór wpadało przez drzwi ale nie przeszkadzało to. Na googlach pijezja mogłaby byc bardziej precyzyjnie.

Great location just a 5min walk from town. Hosts are very friendly and hospitable, it’s a family run business and they are extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast is nice and the room has incredible views. Room is basic but has everything you need.

The pillows were hard and the room could have been slightly cleaner (we stayed three nights and didn’t get any cleaning services, although maybe available on request).

Je kon alles horen, de buren, de auto's op de weg, constructie verderop. Geen goede nachtrust gehad. Tevens is het bad niet aangesloten dus je moet 1.5 uur met de douchekop het bad vullen (met de hoop dat er warm water is) Locatie is wel perfect met hele aardige medewerkers

Thivagar was amazing! There was nothing he couldn’t do and also gave great recommendations. The view was the room is incredible and is great to have as a backdrop for morning breakfast. Perfect location too 5-10min walk outside of the main strip down a steep hill.

Our AC was leaking initially but again Thivagar came to the rescue and fixed it instantly.

The location of this guesthouse is perfect. It was just a 5-minute walk along the road into town. The room was beautifully decorated and so spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows that offered panoramic views of Ella Rock and the surrounding countryside. The host was so warm and friendly and was only a message away if we needed assistance. Our breakfast was delivered to our balcony every morning. It was incredible! It changes slightly each day with hoppers being part of it one morning! It was so serene and relaxing. When I come back to Ella I will stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality Thivagar!

Great location with a beautiful view and short walk into town. Staff were friendly and helpful. They were able to accommodate my gluten free breakfast. Bed was comfortable and room clean. You can watch the sunset down the valley from the balcony, a truly memorable experience!

A lot of the hotels in Ella are on the main road so there is road noise but the hotel kindly supplies ear plugs if you are a light sleeper

Wunderschöne Unterkunft. Wir hatten einen Balkon mit einer schönen Aussicht. Das Frühstück wurde jeden morgen zu uns in Zimmer gebracht.

Mich hat es zwar nicht so gestört, aber beim Duschen war danach immer das Bad nass.

Amazing property. Staff are so lovely. The room has the most breathtaking views. Breakfast was outstanding and was delivered each day and they served it to you on your balcony. You could see monkeys in trees while you ate. Easy to find. Amazing shower. Bath looked good but didn’t try it. Easy 5/10 min walk into Ella where there were some Nice restaurants. Amazing

Prachtige kamer met mooi uitzicht. Luxe faciliteiten, met koelkast, balkon, groot bed en heerlijke douche. Ontbijt was lekker konden we op het balkon eten, personeel dacht goed mee. Dichtbij het centrum, nog geen 10 minuten lopen.

Kamers zijn gehorig. Bad loopt langzaam leeg.

Location is great as it is close to the main street and restaurants. However it can be noisy at night with the road traffic from trucks and buses going past. Breakfast was good.

The room was very cramped especially with the 2 large couches placed right at the foot of the bed which left very little room to get to the other side of the bed. The lighting in the room is quite dim. The was a TV in the room but it didn't work. The AC didn't work efficiently.

Fabulous view from the balcony. Large breakfast served to your room each morning so you can sit and enjoy the view of Ella Rock. Great size room. Hot water. Small walk to town centre. Staff friendly and helpful. Arranged transport to our next destination.

The only downside is the it’s just off the main road into town so some noise from vehicles coming up the hill.

Everything. One of our best stays in Sri Lanka. The view from our room was amazing. The bed was the comfiest bed in Sri Lanka and along with the shower which was also fantastic. Finally the breakfast everyday delivered to our balcony was perfect.

De ligging was echt perfect. 5 min lopen van het “centrum” en super mooi uitzicht vanaf je balkon. Het personeel is super vriendelijk!

Het is wel gehorig. Vooral beetje ‘s avonds rond slaaptijd en ‘s ochtends vroeg. ‘s nachts is het gelukkig wel stil. Ze hebben ook heel lief oordopjes bij het bed leggen, deze kan je natuurlijk altijd gebruiken

De kamer heeft een prachtig uitzicht. Hier word ook je ontbijt geserveerd op het balkon wat lekker was. Veel vers fruit. Er is een koelkastje. De eigenaar was vriendelijk. We konden ook onze was er laten doen.

Het ruikt af en toe muf/vochtig. Misschien iets gedateerd. Er is lawaai vanaf de straat maar dat wisten we van te voren. Wel iets om rekening mee te houden.

Sehr schönes Zimmer mit eigener Frühstücksterasse, Einladung zum kostenlosen Dinner, Hilfe bei Scootermiete. Super Frühstück! Warmes Wasser. Gutes Bett. Etwas abseits vom Trubel aber zu Fuß in 5 min im Zentrum. Alle sehr nett.

-die zwei großen Sessel sind zu viel und müssten aus dem Zimmer - ein kleines Nachtlicht im Bad währe schön, das nachts den Partner nicht wach macht

Coup de cœur ! Excellent accueil, petit déjeuner délicieux et servi directement dans la chambre à l’heure souhaitée, douche chaude et avec une bonne pression (rare au Sri Lanka pour ce prix), lit hyper confortable et vue à couper le souffle ! Des singes sont venus nous dire bonjour le matin.

Op zich goed.. accomodatie lag alleen vol met mottenballen.. de geur maakte het minder plezierig.. uiteraard hebben we ze allemaal verwijderd. Althans zoveel mogelijk .. ca 15 stuks.. Schijnbaar een oplossing tegen insecten dat in Sri Lanka meer voorkomt. Verder was het de dagen dat we er waren erg regenachtig, dus de accomodatie was klam.. Maar ‘‘s ochtends wakker worden en ontbijten bij het uitzicht was adembenemend!! Buiten al het toerisme.

Beautiful view from the room and balcony, comfortable bed with a good mosquito net (surprisingly lacking in other places we stayed!) and decent aircon. Kind and helpful staff and a fantastic evening meal one night provided free of charge. Great value.

As with many properties in Ella it is located on the busy main road - it felt a bit hairy sometimes walking back to the property at night. It was surprisingly quiet however in the room, so they’ve clearly done a good job of insulating the property!

The view was amazing and really enjoyed the breakfast each morning. Location is close to Ella restaurants and bars.

The accommodation has really good reviews which is why we booked it. However it didn’t meet our expectations which is a shame and misleading to others. The owner offered us a 40% discount to rectify this but I believe they should get it right the first time or reduce the price to reflect the service. - There’s no obvious reception and we had a bit of a random greeting by the owner’s son (he’s lovely but customer service could be better) - Our bedding and towels didn’t smell like they had been washed which made us both feel uncomfortable. Also only given one towel each and soap in the bathroom hadn’t been topped up. Our room wasn’t clean during our stay. - The road is noisy (as other reviews state) however during our stay we were woken up by someone banging around on the roof. My partner felt like someone was about to break in. On our final day there was more banging on the roof. All of these issues contributed to an ok stay and we were quite pleased to move on. We appreciated the discount but believe it’s important to get it right the first time.

Best view I can remember from a hotel room. Nice Sri Lankan breakfast on deck watching monkeys put on acrobatic high wire show. Short walk to Main Street. Tiny little eatery just up street does great chicken curry etc if don’t want to dine in hectic Main Street area

Huone oli paras, mikä meillä on ollut Sri Lankassa. Upeat maisemat parvekkeelta, siisti huone, toimiva ilmastointi ja todella mukava sänky. Plussaa siitä, että oli oikea peitto, eikä vain lakana. Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä ja aamupala tuotiin meille omaan huoneeseen, vielä siihen kellonaikaan kun toivoimme! Kaikki oli täydellistä.

Great host, very friendly and adding an extra mile to accommodate. Close to the city centre.

Ear plugs made available by the host are no coincidence. The hose has two roads on both of its sides. A fan of honking trucks driving through one’s bed will have a lot of fun.

Prachtig uitzicht vanaf het ruime balkon waar we een heerlijk ontbijtje kregen. Ruime badkamer, groot bed, tv. Loopafstand van het centrum.

Je zit precies in de lus van de weg, dus dat je verkeer hoort in onvermijdelijk. Maar tijdens het ontbijt (met apen) is dat toch wel jammer. Het bad zag er niet heel schoon uit.

Das Hotelpersonal war äusserst zuvorkommend. Uns wurde jeden Morgen ein köstliches Frühstück ins Zimmer gebracht. Die Aussicht vom Balkon direkt auf den Ella Rock war ebenfalls klasse. Aufgrund gut isolierter Fenster und Türen störte die relativ nahegelegene und vielbefahrene Strasse kein Bisschen. Das Zentrum von Ella konnte zu Fuss innert 5 Minuten oder innert 2 Minuten mit einem TukTuk erreicht werden.

It was better than expected. The photos don't show how cozy the rooms are and how beautiful the view is (even when it's raining). It was the best location we stayed in in Sri Lanka. Breakfast - biggest compliments - it was AMAZING! The hosts were welcoming and ready to help you. And the best part - it's very close to the city center so you could walk here in a few minutes. I highly recommend this place!

Perfect location and clean. Everything about this place was perfect. Amazing breakfast included and amazing view from the balcony. Also the person who checked us in was so friendly. Would 100% reccomend
