Sehr schön ruhig, wunderbare Lage, aber man muss gut zu Fuß sein um an Gaststätten o.ä. zu kommen.

The location is fabulous, beautiful walks in surrounding woods. The owner is welcoming and adds lovely touches , such as breakfast for your first morning. It is spotlessly clean and has everything you could need for your stay.

L'emplacement est incroyable dans ce parc de château, cette petite maison est adorable. Environnement très calme avec toutes les commodités à proximité. Le village de Cong est très typique.

Un dépôt de garantie pour le séjour, imposé en CASH, lors de la remise des clefs. nous n'avions pas cette information lors la confirmation de réservation ce qui nous à obligé à des frais de banque pour retirer les billets dans la région.

The house is beautifully appointed with lovely linen and crockery and warm.

Patricia met us and showed us to the property at a time that suited us. It was all so easy. The drive to the property, through the Ashford Castle gates makes this the best place I've ever stayed. It's fantastic.

Ashford Villa is the perfect place to stay whilst visiting the area. The location is ideal for exploring Cong, the beautiful castle grounds and the surrounding area. The cottage is home from home, it has everything you could need and the breakfast was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. The hosts are lovely people and we really appreciated all the little extra touches that made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back.

Schön ruhig gelegen und doch nicht weit ins Städtchen. Wir waren überrascht was es in dem kleinen Ort alles zu sehen gab.

Leider hatten wir einen Unfall und ohne Auto ist die Umgebung nur in einem kleinen Radius zu erkunden.

There was nothing about the property that we didn’t like.

A beautiful cottage on the stunning grounds of Ashford castle. Gerard and Patricia were brilliant hosts from start to finish even leaving us some ingredients in the fridge so we could make an Irish breakfast! The cottage has everything you could need. The perfect location and only a 30 min drive to Galway or Westport. The best place to stay in Cong 😊

The house and location were perfect. Lovely walking routes and plenty of freedom for the kids. Hosts were welcoming and very friendly.

Spotlessly clean and well equipped, this cottage has a gorgeous location, right on the edge of Ashford Castle. We had a really lovely time.

Really good property with modern facilities with a homely feel, with the owners leaving a Irish breakfast in the fridge ready to cook they have provided everything you could need to enjoy a nice relaxing break in beautiful scenic location on the doorstep of Ashford castle.

I literally can’t fault it they have covered everything, only thing missing for a longer break would be a washing machine but that’s being really picky

Beautifully kept, all facilities in the villa were great, perfect location to Ashford Castle and the village of Cong.

Maybe satellite, TV this would be fabulous for those raining afternoons 

Accommodation far exceeded our expectations, reasonably priced, amazing location, clean, comfortable, it had everything we needed and more. Hosts were attentive and communication was good throughout. Highly recommend.

Location was fabulous

Perfect location, 5 minutes walk to Ashford castle. Peaceful, clean and just like a home away from home. Made the stay with 2 small children very easy. Super comfy beds and the breakfast supplies left for us was a wonderful touch. The hosts, Patricia and Gerard welcomed us, showing us all the facilities and how a few of the bits in the property worked. Very friendly couple. Will definitely stay again.

Quiet private location in the grounds of Ashford Castle. Beautiful drive through Castle grounds. Able to avail of walks locally.

Great host. Place was clean and comfortable. Ashford Castle grounds are just out the door. Close to town and all it has to offer. Quiet and cozy.

It was raining for some of the time we were there and a few coat hooks would have been handy in the hallway.

1st class accommodation, loverly and clean, plenty of towels, beds was so comfy, On arrival in the fridge was the next days breakfast which was fantastic surprise. Overall we haven't stayed in anywhere like it, only home today and we are planning a family holiday and having both cottages.

Everything was excellent.
