Clean, tidy, warmth even it’s winter. And they have everything you need for your stay! Host is very responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend!

From the fresh eggs in the fridge and the super comfy beds, we were extremely happy with the accommodations and we will be back!!

Location was great, not too far from amything. Easy to get onto SH6 and just go.

We had ants in one of the bedrooms, though we did read you had tried to fix the problem. Also, it stated that the pool was heated until the end of April on your ad, but we found that it had been turned off when we got there. Still able to use it though, and lovely rooms.

The generosity of compliments from drinks, milk tea, coffee and additional towels (in case want a swim) was awesome.

That the toilet was in the one bathroom. If someone was in shower no one else could use the toilet or washing machine.

Beautiful location, apartment was clean and spacious. We were greeted with milk, tea, coffee, a couple of cold beverages and some chocy biscuits 😍… The absolute best! Even the cute little free range chicken… Being able to collect our own eggs. Super cute!

Country Retreats is clean, well laid out and functional for our family of 6. Comfortable beds and lounge/dining furniture enough for our family and visitors. The owners were very accommodating. The extra mile they go to make you feel welcome with treats and eggs from their own chickens. The farm animals were friendly and come to visit the children at the gate. The outdoor facilities of trampoline and pool are also appreciated by our family. The parking was ample and easy to manoeuvre large vehicles. Thank you again for your hospitality, we will return, and hopefully soon.

There was nothing we didn’t like at all, but a suggestion of a cheese board and cheese knives would be handy.

The very accommodating staff, personal touches and coziness. Kids love the pool.

The accomodation was incredible so spacious, tidy and so many beautiful little details having the pool was an added bonus for the kids. We will absolutely be using this as our main accomodation whenever we are in Nelson

Everything, the peacefulness, the location, comfort.

We never saw the cows and no eggs when we checked although it was late in the day.

Did enough research to realise we were 20 min by car ( depending on traffic) out of Nelson CBD. Two Hourly Public transport service around the corner. Loved the little extras in the luxury ‘hut’. Good supply of kitchen items, full gas cooker incl oven. Full bathroom/ laundry plus basic cleaning tools. Comfy cinema couches/ chairs- full dining table . Big TV at eye level. Wonderful medium sized heated pool plus table/ chairs/ lounger.

The day the owner started ‘planting’ cheap looking artificial be solar flowers in the planter boxes. Totally spoiled the otherwise well appointed minimalistic rural farm feel of the set-up.

10/10 best stay we have had, not only was the price affordable. They even went out of their way to cater to my family as we arrived early hours of the morning way before our check in. I was so grateful as we were traveling with our babies. Our whole family enjoyed every moment there they didn't want to return home. They have a heated pool, hen house you can collect eggs from. A drier and washing machine, alot of towels. Everything in our little weekend home was so nice clean and spotless. They hace everything from dishwashing liquid to laundry powder. You basically only needed your clothes and shopping. They also had treats in tje fridge that we delish. There is also a BBQ you can use outside. Our family still talk about it. My daughter keeps asking when are we going back to our new home lols. Annitta and Shelly are such lovely people to deal with and they would respond to our emails or calls immediately. Definitely coming back here for holidays. I forgot to take photos but photos are accurate. We stayed in Ranzau 9. Thank you so much for a fun and memorable long weekend. Amazing accommodation only 5 mins drive from Richmond. would recommend any passing through down the west coast to stay here.

This was a superb stay, the house was very clean and had all the necessary facilities. The location is also very convenient if you are on a roadie travelling to other places nearby Nelson.

We stayed here in an emergency as we were evacuated due to flooding and arrived 30 minutes after booking it. The property had everything we needed plus some nice extras supplied by the owners. Very cosy and comfortable with a lovely outlook of farm animals, tucked away not far from the main road. Spotlessly clean and well designed modern cottages, well equipped and maintained a short drive to Richmond centre. This would be an ideal location to stay if completing the great taste trail.

Incredible accomodation, very clean and perfect size for a family. Easy to find and a great location to Richmond. We will be staying every time we visit NZ from Australia.
