We could not find any fault with property, it was very clean, comfortable and would recommend to anybody

Not a 'didnt like', but this house is remote, so recommend picking up supplies enroute.

Lovely spot, quiet, Spacious, helpful host!

We loved the bright, airy apartment with lovely spacious ensuite bedrooms with excellent showers and comfortable beds. Towels and other resources were in good supply. We enjoyed the facilities both in the kitchen and the the sitting room. We enjoyed the availability of satellite tv. The apartment was spotless and had ample space for us. Gerry was welcoming and friendly and helpful with regard to the apartment and nearby restaurants.

Moreen Lodge was a lovely place to stay - it was in a beautiful nice quiet area with fantastic views and the house itself was well equipped with everything that we needed - Our host Gerry was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. I would definitely recommend staying here and we will definitely be returning again 😊😊

Host was very friendly, helpful and nice. The heating was on for when we arrived so it was lovely and cosy which was greatly appreciated this time of year on the west coast!

The apartment was super clean and warm and private in a beautiful location on the island. Very remote but on Achill not at all isolated, especially as our host Gerry was very courteous and supportive and indicated that he would be available only if we needed him or had any questions. Each of the three bedrooms has an ensuite. Plenty of towels and even the basics like shower gels soap and kitchen cleaners and tea and coffee available, all of which you often have to purchase yourself in some places. The extensive tv channels and networks provided alternative entertainment for the very rainy evenings.

Property was clean, warm, spacious and had the basics (tea / coffee / shower gel / soaps etc) there for us.

Perhaps provide an outdoor seating / eating area and a clothes horse for drying clothes but everything else was fine.

Had a wonderful time at this very well-equipped and spacious lodge. The property was very clean and comfortable. A peaceful location with a sea view from the balcony. The host, Gerry, was very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at this property.

All rooms had en-suite l.loved the location which was remote but gave us the chance to get of the main road

No view from inside the property. Once you step outside it really is in a stunning location so this was the only downside

Everything, it was extremely well equipped with everything we needed. You were left to your own devices yet Gerry was there if you needed anything. We had a super time.

OK but overpriced for what you got. Disappointing.

The grounds of the house were under redevelopment a d it was a mess. Not safe for small children at all. A construction site with a big dirty shed full of old rubbish. The owner apologised but didn't offer anything else. The house itself was the upstairs of a bungalow. The kitchen was very cramped and the sitting room was small with a dining table in the corner. Not great.

Great views from the lodge, appreciated guest accounts for disney+, as well as ensuite bathrooms. Very convenient for privacy!

Each bedroom was lovely and each one was en-suite. It was also very clean. The host, Gerry was very helpful too

The wifi reception was patchy in the living room so the TV didn’t work some of the time. Other than that everything was great

Everything. The property is on the first floor and it was spacious and spotlessly clean. We chose Foreen Lodge because it was big dog friendly and it was perfect. Lots of outside space for the dog to run around undisturbed. The apartment had everything we needed including toilet rolls and towels. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils to cook meals if required. Each bedroom is en-suite. The photos on the site don't do it justice. Beautiful views from the balcony outside. There's no light pollution so the views of the stars on a clear night are spectacular. Very quiet and secluded area. Perfect for a restful break. Nearest shop is approx 15 min drive away and nearest pub/restaurant (Valley Hostel & Restaurant - excellent place) is 5 minute drive. Gerry is a warm and friendly man who is on hand if there are any issues. We didn't have any but it was good to know he was there. Highly recommend. Pictures are views from the front and back of property and beach is Dugort which is approx 1 mile away.

Nothing in the property but if you're walking in the area bring a high viz jacket or a torch because the roads are very dark and there's lots of sheep on the roads.

All the rooms were en suite. The lounge was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Having a washing machine and tumble drier was really useful after our days out. The setting was beautiful.

We didn't find anything we didn't like really. The accommodation was just right for our purposes. Would definitely stay again.

The property was clean, and equipped with all you would need. Gerry was very kind and helpful. Gerry helped us when we had a query. Lovely man.

The property was not suitable for smaller children ,or if you had problems with stairs. Found the stairs quite dangerous , especially as we were out a lot walking and it had been raining, therefore stairs being wet were risky. Side steps were also dangerous when wet from the rain, it had been raining a lot. Our dog had an awful fall down them on the 2nd day. We had to cut our break short as he was in pain and needed to see a vet. Location was very remote, and would suit young people more than older folk or families.Quite a drive to the nearest shop.

Apartment very clean and comfortable. plenty of space inside. Nice sea view spoilt by untidy yard.

Back and front yard needs fixing up. Not ideal for kids. A gate on top of stairs might suit family with smaller kids. Property could be sign posted better. I know the island quite well and still found it tricky to find.

Very clean and spacious 3 bedroom apartment all with ensuite, power shower and comfortable beds. Good location with short drive to all local beaches.

Rear outdoor area could do with a bit of attention, otherwise all good. Would definitely stay there again..

This is a beautiful, clean, well equipped property in an idyllic location in Achill Island. Highly recommended. Had everything for our family of four.

it’s an upstairs apartment so not suitable for people with disabilities, also the garden could do with a tidy up… it’s a drive away from everything .

There was plenty of room for our family of 7, which included 2 teenagers, and a dog. All bedrooms were ensuite, plenty of towels, washing machine and tumble dryer which was a godsend. Great walks, lovely 5k run circuit, great beachs. Jerry was very friendly and accommodating. We all agree as a family we would definitely stay here again

The situation, having 3 en-suites and overall comfortable.

Wifi. View of ‘rubbish’ in outhouses, though view to the sea great. Coffee machine/ caffeterie. Could have been a bit cleaner, finishing eg in some bathrooms could be better and lots of extension leads used.

It was spotless great location and helpful. We will be back.

Gerry is very helpful he really makes A Persian feel at home .
