Reviewed Apr 11, 2026A flash place with lots of trendy gadgets. Its built into the end of a big shed. Nice and clean. But there was lack of places to put stuff and seats were either lacking of not very comfortable. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Reviewed Feb 16, 2025Carolyn was a lovely, kind, delightful host and we loved meeting her two pets Lola and Jet.The accommodation was exquistite and I wished we'd stayed longer than 2 nights - it the was the best accommodation in our entire 2 week road trip. So peaceful and quiet. The facilities, furnishings, all the electrical fittings (esp the toilet and bedroom!)and attention to detail was absolutely stunning. The outside deck area(which also had a little bush track up to a picnic table) was a serene and beautiful area to relax in the evening once the heat of the sun softened. We adored this place and so look forward to treating ourselves to it again.
There was nothing we didn't like. We loved everything. The place was sublime.

We explored the area's attractions by bike - including trails, vineyards, galleries, and shops - but always had a peaceful sanctuary to relax in. The perfect way to finish a biking holiday in this amazing part of NZ.

Decor, size, fridge freezer, bath with salts, shampoo, conditioner, gels. Heated floor, auto nightlighting. Garden table and paths, birds, trees, parking & security. Was all lovely.
No instructions for induction hob-top or microwaves. Got to work, but not what we are use to. Washing machine & some kind of clothes line to wash our smelly cycle gear.

Reviewed May 17, 2024The outdoor area with large deck and table was sheltered and sunny and very inviting. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom and the bed was vert comfy. We slept well. The hosts left us alone and also were happy to chat. Easy to walk along the clutha river or into clyde.

Reviewed Jan 12, 2024We loved everything about The Prospectors on Miner accommodation. The industrial+modern design, the beautiful outdoor deck, the comfortable beds and beautiful bed linen + wonderful kitchen and bathroom. Everything was exceptionally clean and comfy and brand new. And whilst being located on the owners property it is very private. I'd say this is the best place to stay in historic Clyde - and a great base to cycle Dunstan Lake, Roxburgh Gorge and the Central Otago rail trail.

Reviewed Mar 10, 2023This apartment is better than expected, it is better than the photos by far. Exceptionally detailed and styled, the little touches were fantastic. The beds were super comfy, we didn't want to leave! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The outdoor area was perfect for afternoon wines in the sun. The location is perfect for walking to town, we absolutely loved it.

The kitchen has every desirable appliance, the beds are comfortable, and the living room looks out over a nice deck to the garden. It is only a 3 minute to town, and the owners/hosts are very helpful. Jamie even assisted us with a small repair to our auto.

The only thing I could comment on is that there wasn’t much space in the bedrooms to leave your cases open, but the great beds made up for that.
