Reviewed Mar 9, 2026Such a terrific find! Hostess has thought of so many ways to make the stay welcoming and comfortable: cream for coffee in the fridge, chocolates, tea, coffee, sugar all available. Plush towels, clothes pins for the line. Friendly and welcoming and helpful. Even provided a towel when we wanted to go swimming.
So much was excellent, I hate to find fault. My husband and I both thought the bed may benefit with an update and the hostess was very receptive to our feedback. Thank you Trish!!

It would have been great to have had a turning bay rather than backing out the long driveway.

The location is great, walking distance to everything in Clyde, yet so private, quiet and peaceful - just the sound of birds singing in the garden surrounds. The cottage is equipped with everything you need, plus thoughtful treats on arrival. Superb.

The curtains were.a but thin so visibility into the room from the outside at night was a thing but I'm saying that it's the only room there so there are no other guests there and the property owners are up the front of property so there's no one to be able to look in

Reviewed Jun 9, 2025The super friendly and helpful hosts had messaged to let us know the keys would be in the door. We had two sweet cakes waiting for us on the bench and chocolate treats in the fridge, and the heat pump was on. I would totally recommend this accommodation in all aspects.
