IN LUXOR Nile Apartments

The location was amazing with a view of the river from the balcony. There was also some small shops and restaurants near buy which was amazing. The staff were also very friendly and helpful also. We arrived early to cheak in and they had no issues with this just took us to our room which was great after a flight to get there.

There was only air-conditioning in the bedroom which made a loud noise every half an hour. It would be nice for this to be upgraded and for more of the apartment to have it as it was 39°c when I visited.

The staffs were very helpful and hospitable. Islam especially, was able to help us sort out everything we need during our stay. The view was amazing overlooking the nile river in the front and valley of the kings in the back. Highly recommend this place!

Very dirty, no people around

The location is gorgeous!!! Just what we wanted - overlooking the Nile and a short boat ride from the east bank but at the epicentre of the calm east bank. A short drive from the valley of kings and queens and a walk from some great restaurants. Islam was a wonderful host. Highly recommend

Fantastic stay. Our host was incredibly friendly and helpful. He arranged water taxis for us for LE100 each way, and also a breakfast for USD5 which was really delicious. The views from the rooms were amazing. Roof terrace was lovely as well. Bear in mind that the road outside is unpaved, but don't let that put you off.

Our bed was a little hard, but others in our travelling group said theirs were fine.

Apartment is located right on the Corniche on the West Bank, so your view is an uninterrupted view of the Nile and Luxor temple on the other side. Islam and the rest of the crew are extremely hospitable and I would highly recommend this place.

if the owner can redo the bathroom, this place is perfect. The shower is too awkward, has to be held by one hand, I suggest the owner to take shower himself in one of the rooms. The hot water heater has been switched off and the staff didn't switch it on after we checked in, there was some hot water left inside the heater, we thought there was hot water all the time, so we had a cold water shower in such cold winter time (7 C)

Minor thing but the bathroom shower does not have shower curtains so have to wipe the floor but it can get a bit wet and slippery and the door of the rooms were a bit hard to close and open / made creaky sounds

Islam, our host, is an absolute legend! He is super friendly and always present when we needed him! He even gave us a heater when it was cold at night! Egypt in general is such a wonderful country.

The room with the amazing balcony overlooking the nile was everything! Walking distance to everything, ferry is right down stairs to go across the nile.

Amazing Stay with Great Views of the Nile I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was an incredible experience. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The location is in a quiet area, perfect for relaxation, and it’s situated right in front of the Nile. The view of the small boats on the river is beautiful, and the option to take a direct boat to cross to the other side of the Nile was both convenient and fast. The staff was exceptional—very friendly and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their communication was excellent, and they genuinely made us feel at home. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Islam is the excellent manager of this structure: he welcomed us in the middle of the night because our plane arrived late and he followed us and advised us in all the activities we wanted to undertake. He was a very kind host, as well as Abdul the boy who prepares breakfasts is an excellent cook. The stay in this structure is really worth it.

The staff were fantastic. Islam is a great person and made us feel like part of the family. Abdul is a fantastic chef, best breakfast ever!! Overall it is not the place that made our stay great it was the hospitality of Islam and Abdul.

Showers and toilets can be refurbished, overall very good value for money.

I hated the restroom because when you took a shower the bathroom flooded and stayed like that all day and night so you basically couldn’t go in the bathroom again after the shower and it was frustrating. WiFi wasn’t working

We stayed at this beautiful place during our trip to Egypt, and it exceeded all our expectations! The hosts, Abdul and Islam, were simply exceptional. Excellent view, good service

Everything was amazing in this apartment and the staff were very helpful. Would highly recommend for anyone else wanting to travel here.

Very nice building with independent apartments. Lovely roof terrace with a view on the Nile and the East bank of Luxor. Close to the main attractions of Luxor (Valleys of kings and queens, tombs of nobles, the colossi of Memnon...). Only the temples of Luxor and Karnak are on the other bank, that you can reach in one minute by boat, taking it a few hundred meters from the hotel. We booked an apartment on the ground floor, it was spacious and cozy. The west bank is quieter and more authentic than the east bank, however there are somel facilities. In the same sandy street of the hotel there are several little restaurants in front of the Nile and you can do a feluca tour! 30 minutes from Luxor airport. Last but not least, the staff was very kind!

The location, room and view absolutely amazing. The room was huge and clean. All the staff were wonderful!! The main host, Islam went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and more, he was amazing!

The staff are generally friendly. The hot balloon trip recommended by Abdul was beyond expectation！ There is help when you need it but no one bothers you too much. Good tasty little restaurants nearby and shops sell in good price. Nile River view is nice！

The room might need some repair work. The bedroom door can hardly lock. Towels are dark... Definitely need some new towels.

The view

The worst part which actually made us leave early was that the power is switched off 2pm - 5pm each day - the hottest part of the day when you don’t want to be on the heat, meaning no air con. This was horrendous and ruined our stay.

the boss and staff were enthusiastic, the first night we arrived luxor, they upgraded my room to have a good view of nile river. and the roof also has good view.

Location is a bit strange when you first arrive but latter you get comfortable with the boat taking you to the other side of the river where you have the restaurants, museums etc The flat was very big, not so modern but OK. It was clean and had a balcony, even on the ground floor. The host was great, he helped me a lot with the Luxor sightseeing and also with the boat arrangements and the taxi to the airport.

Breakfast at the terrace was very nice still I only had it once due to weather conditions (too windy and sandy).

There was a water blockage in the bathtub while showering. Internet was not always working properly, but other than that it was all good.

The hotel accommodation at In Luxor Nile Apartments was absolutely splendid, spacy, on a unique spot with the Nile under your feet and magnificent Luxor temple view. Also the services were great - the management organised all the trips for us, kept all the promises, the drivers and guides were always at a proper time on an agreed spot, were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the planned ballon trip had to be repeatedly cancelled in two successive days by the organiser due to the windy conditions. But the prepayment was immediately refunded back.

The location was perfect on the West Bank. Beautiful spacious apartment, lovely balcony and rooftop. Everything we needed. Also our host Islam went above and beyond ensuring our stay was pleasant. He himself deserves 10/10. Thank you!

The staff, Abdo and Issam, were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food they prepared for us was copious and delicious, but we ate most of our meals at the fabulous Nubian House next door but one. The apartment was lovely, with great views of the Nile and the East Bank. The people on this side of the Nile are much more laid back and far less aggressive in their sales pitches. Less than 100m down the road, there is a great mini market that charges non tourist prices and stays open late. I walked down alone at 11.30pm and felt perfectly safe. When I got back, Issam was standing in the middle of the road watching for me. There is a quiet boat jetty just opposite the apartments, and the guys will call you a boat to cross over to the East Side. It costs pennies. All in all, we loved our stay on Luxor's West Bank and would definitely return if we were in Luxor

Kitchen ill equipt. Knives and forks, but no spoons. Stovetop but no pans. It was not a problem for us because we didn't want to cook, but for others it could be a problem.

Everything about it specifically the staffs, Abdulla and Islam. They were exceptional!

A kettle and coffee mugs would be nice

The location and view are nice, it's close to a supermarket and you're a bit farther from the most scammy parts of the town. The room is very big.

Hot water is provided by a small electric boiler. Don't even think of enjoying a bath, the boiler's capacity won't allow you to fill the tub even a bit. There's no shower curtain so there's going to be water everywhere. If you're traveling in the winter expect it to be very cold. They have an antique space heater but the property is too big for it to cope. They advertise the balcony view, but if you sit on their armchair the concrete balcony railing is right at face level. You'll get a great view of concrete. They are super skimpy on toilet paper. Just ask for tons of extra rolls when checking in. There is no water kettle in the rooms. They have one upstairs on the rooftop, but that rooftop kitchen is so crazy dirty that I would not recommend eating/drinking there.

I stayed on the top floor and the view of the Nile was lovely. Also the hotel staff were great.

There were several small things in the room that could use repair such as damaged shelves in the bathroom.

The view from the balcony is perfect. The apartment is spacious. The staff at the property specially Islam was quite helpful during our stay.

The wifi was extremely weak in the apartment (Apartment no. 6) we stayed in. In fact it was non existent in the bed room. The apartment is also located around 10 mins walk from the public ferry, if anyone wants they can pay extra and hire a private ferry for crossing to the east side.

Really bad because they never opened the door for me when I arrived at the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The area is peaceful and relaxing with a nice view of the Nile and Luxor city. Our host Abdul was a really nice, friendly and helpful guy. He called a boat for us to pass the Nile many times with a fair price (100egp) and answered all of our questions. The breakfast was really good, so also compliments to the cook!

the host Abdul and his team is super helpful and always there for the guests, our stay was super smooth thanks to their help. the view is superb, local is actually quite good- you do need a boat to go across to the east bank, but Abdul always helps arrange it in time. the gentleman Hussian who rides the boat is also super friendly and helpful. there are plenty of restaurants nearby, we didn’t explore them all but the Nile Rose was quite nice and cheap. We really enjoyed our stay

The staff were very helpful. Islam, was so incredibly helpful and always went the extra mile. His hospitality comes from the heart, he genuinely wants to help out which became a bit of an issue whilst touring Egypt because we didn’t know who to trust. He offered to walk me ( a female) to the grocery shops on the Main Street because he didn’t want me to get harassed TWICE and even made sure I got Egyptian Prices. He was very profesional and respectful the entire time and showed authentic hospitality. He’s a good man. The location is very beautiful, peaceful and quiet. It’s in the West Bank and we will definetley book this apartment again if we come back!

More kitchen utensils would have been nice to come with the apartment. However when I asked for some they were more then happy to help out.

Nothing, it’s a soulless empty depressing prison apartment with blank walls and no proper kitchen, as it has NO cooker and nothing to cook with. Ground floor with no view miserable. Saying that the owner was very agreeable to cancel the booking and provide a full refund, so good he acknowledged my disappointment.

Great stay across the Nile! Whole building is clean, room is nice and clean too, rooftop is amazing and the guest house is surrounded by really nice homey restaurants. Right across there is a pier where you can take a boat across. The hosts were wonderful, caring and made amazing Egyptian breakfast :) We also did a felucca boat ride with them which was very nice.

Hot water was a bit difficult, it would sometimes fluctuate. In winter it is a bit cold at night so that might be uncomfortable, otherwise during the day/in summer I guess it’s not s problem.

The apartment’s location along the Nil River is excellent.

However, there are several drawbacks to consider: 1. The property is approximately 45 minutes away from the city, lacking convenient access to essential daily facilities such as hospitals, train stations, shopping centers, tourist shops, restaurants, and nightlife. 2. The staff’s conduct is disappointing, with a primary focus on extracting additional payments from guests in various situations. Even in medical emergencies, they prioritize money over guest well-being. Additional charges for external activities exceed the fair market prices. 3. The breakfast quality is subpar, and its cost is disproportionately high compared to nearby restaurants. 4. The apartment’s infrastructure leaves much to be desired, with issues ranging from malfunctioning water valves in the bathroom and shower to inadequately bright and defective lights at night. This property is not recommended for extended stays.

Islam is a great guy, so plus points; the view from second floor over the Nile is awesome! The location is ok, no noise during the night, a lot of space, huge balcony. Overall, very good option if want to avoid east bank(and yes, avoid it!)

I can't say enough good things about the warm greeting Islam gave us and the care and attention Abdullah put in each meal he made for us. The apartment was amazing for the price paid, the view was great, but most of the all, the people there were super kind and made you feel safe and well looked after.

Amazing views and great location next to the river

Amazing views for sunrise and not only! In apartment you have everything you need. Islam and Abdullah are very helpful and welcoming. Just the next house is Nubian house with the great food and very welcoming family Very peaceful for sleeping. Everything for the long and short stay. You can have a ride with feluca on the Nile for sunset, guys will help you to organise this. Highly recommended

Islam was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The flat has a great balcony with a view of the Nile and East Bank of Luxor.

Maybe bed could have been comfier and the shower have a curtain but it was fine.

Nice view and a lot of space inside. Friendly personnel but a bit not well organised. The electricity problem happend only once at night - so no air conditioner for a while.

It took some time to get inside as the personnel were not there and only after calling the owner did someone let us in after a while. The kitchen is there as advertised however it is very poorly equipped so no cooking is possible, there are nice restaurants close by that are available in any case. A bit loud air conditioner.

Islam made my stay extremely enjoyable. The accomodation itself is very secure and is a gated property. It’s extremely spacious especially when compared with my accomodation at similar prices in Aswan and Cairo.

Location was good

The studio room had a view of the gate and not the Nile as expected. The room had been used by heavy smokers. The kitchen facilities were 1 glass, 2 cups, 1 large plate, 1 small plate and some off cutlery, not enough for 2 people. The fridge did not close.

The location is very great, just to let you know everybody, if you want to go otherisde of the river for hotel from any station, just take boat, don't take cab because when we arrive from go bus, we don't know that we need to use boat to cross the other side of river, anyway Islam was very good and kind host, he arranged taxi for us for next day tour which was very reasonable in EGP, taxi driver showed us three tourist attractions, breakfast was good, hair dryer, iron everything was provided, view was beautiful from our balcony, restaurant was close to apartments like within 5 mins walk, for the boat you can take tuk tuk just for 10 or 20 EGP.

When people keep stops you and ask you where you from etc etc and they force you to talk to them and sit in their restaurants.
