I was staying in late April, and it was a cold, wet day. They turn on the underfloor heating in May, so I was a touch cold. I could have rung them to turn it on earlier, but decided not to bother as I was only there two nights (and it didn't worry me when sleeping). Otherwise, everything was perfect.

The car park could be a issue, if your not a good driver and there were two big cars.

I would have liked a blind or curtain on the mid level landing but that was only a very minor thing.

Reviewed Feb 9, 2026We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment and it was huge with a very nice terrass and a bbq. Everything was very thought trough, matching towels, blankets and interior. Well equipped kitchen and really nice bed linen. Beach towels. Short walk to the warf and supermarket. We only stayed for one night but would love to have stayed longer!

Reviewed Dec 27, 2025Es war die beste Unterkunft in unserem NZ Urlaub. Sehr gut ausgestattet, inklusive Weber-Grill und auch einer Waschmöglichkeit mit Trockner. Die Vermieter haben vor und während des Aufenthaltes mit einzelnen Nachrichten alles top organisiert. Ein Supermarkt ist in 200m Entfernung und die Ausgehmeile (Mapua Wharf) nur 900m. Ganz klare Empfehlung. Die Unterkunft ist das Geld wert.

Parking. With a ute it was very difficult to get in and out of the parking space especially if there was another car in the second park. No air conditioning, unit got exceptionally hot during the day.

Die Terrassenmöbel und der Grill hätten mal eine Reinigung vertragen.

Reviewed Mar 26, 2025The most striking feature of the property is simply the clean lines of the modern architecture with large picture windows opening onto the garden. Love the polished concrete floors and the orange highlights. The full kitchen is well equipped, including an induction cooktop that is great if you want to eat in. Bonus if you want to eat in, it's also 2 minutes walk to the Four Square supermarket, which has a good beer selection too.
The drive is steep and narrow. If there is another car parked, there is not much room to turn around and you may end up reversing out.

We also enjoyed the patio outside with the bbq. Danielle and Mike were very easy to deal with and communicated promptly. They were also incredibly kind and helpful when my husband suffered an accident. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
About the only thing I can think of that would have improved the stay was air conditioning as the apartment does get very hot. A fan is provided, which is helpful but a little noisy for sleeping with.
