The View apartment is exactly that, a 180 degree veiw of the water, birdlife etc.

Die Aussicht ist grandios, die Wohnung liegt direkt am Meer, wunderschön. Tolle Terrasse und alles da was man braucht.

Im Bad gibt es keinerlei Ablage-Möglichkeit und keine Steckdose.

Well appointed, great outdoor area with BBQ comfy bed. Good sized living area. Very handy to Mapua Wharf and restaurants etc.

Would have liked the overhead shower to be functional. But the water pressure was fantastic.

The view over the bay was stunning. Our window looked directly over the water inlet. The apartments are very well situated with walking access to restaurants. The 4 Square was a short walk away. The staff were very helpful and allocated some of their garage space to charge our bikes for the next day.

The beds are brilliant as are the pillows. The view is divine and the house is very well equipped.

Bathroom needs an extractor fan. A curtain for the door to the deck would make it more private at night. Apart from that it's perfect 😉

This property exceeded our expectations! It was modern, fresh and clean with lovely pops of color everywhere. The outdoor space was perfect with comfortable places to sit. We had a great selection of kayaks to choose from and we used the double to paddle across the estuary to Rabbit Island to beach comb for shells. It is truly just steps away from the wharf and lovely shops and restaurants but you’d never know it, it was so peaceful. Michelle, the owner, was wonderful and great communication.

I would have loved to have a fishing pole to use too!

We were given the beach unit with a fabulous view onto the estuary and Rabbit Island.

Welcome was very cold, we were greeted with a “name please” and “are you paying cash or credit?” No hello, welcome, how was your trip. Then our unit was indicated and told “everything is inside”. We found this very odd. Also the kitchen and utensils would need a thorough clean. This overshadowed the fabulous location of the apartment. The owners are trying to sell, perhaps they have just given up on hospitality?

The apartment that we had (The View) was in a fantastic location, beautiful views across to Rabbit Island. The property was comfortable and well equipped. Welcoming, helpful owners.

Nothing to dislike except that the dining table needs to have a missing flap replaced,

Great property in the most amazing place

Location! We rode our bikes on the Great Taste Trail from Nelson, NZ and took the ferry from Rabbit Island across the water to Māpua. The property is in a perfect location right next to the restaurants and shops at the Mapua dock. There’s a grocery/wine shop about a 5 min walk away. The view from the Beach Cottage is beautiful, the front deck and access to the beach in front was amazing too. We highly recommend it to a couple or two couples sharing. There’s lots of space and everything you need ! We had a wonderful stay!!

We have been touring for 6 weeks and this has been the best accommodation so far..Michelle is a great host and couldn't have been more helpful..The apartment is beautiful and spotless clean and the location couldn't get any better..A great end to our trip round the beautiful South Island...

There was only one bedroom technically - “second bedroom” was actually an area off the lounge with a curtain for privacy. In addition, only one thin towel each for the stay was not adequate. No hand soap in the bathroom. Worst issue was the thunderous overhead noise at 645 am, due to sorely inadequate insulation between the floors.

Was advertised as two bedrooms, but one bedroom was not private. Up stairs people made noise moving around.

It had everything you could need and more. Lots of kayaks and only a stones throw from the water. Excellent location.

Loved it. Have booked again. Stairs down to the waterfront. Views of the huge tidal changes. Right next door with a secret gate to the next door dining and shopping precinct.

Have to book way in advance to get in! Also a bit expensive- but worth it.

Locatie, schoon, kajak te gebruiken, groot, gezellige eigenaresse! Alles was aanwezig in de keuken dus hoefde dat niet te halen, van vuilniszakken tot spelletjes en een cd-speler. 2 nachten was veel te weinig!

Wij hebben ons nergens aan geërgerd maar mocht je panisch zijn voor kakkerlakken dan moet je je daar op voorbereiden. En de wifi was niet top maar heb je helemaal niet nodig op zo'n prachtig plekje!

Dejligt sted ca. 1/2 time fra Nilson. Kan varmt anbefales. 100m til cafe / restaurant miljø.

Superb location - we enjoyed probably the best views of any place we have stayed … Right on water’s edge and next door to restaurants and wharf facilities.

Wifi coverage poor in parts of the apartment. Kitchen units a bit “tired”. No extraction in kitchen or bathroom. No smoke detectors.

This place is amazing. We were blown away when we got to the top of the stairs and saw our lounge and the stunning view from the floor to ceiling glass wall. We loved it and wished we had booked for longer.

Stunning location with fabulous views. Great balcony with seating and views. Super comfortable bed and giant sofa with views from both. The coffee, tea and milk were appreciated to as were the helpful hosts. Literally next to the main cafes, bar and restaurants. As we didn’t want to leave the stunning views, after a drink at the brew pub next door we got some take out beer and fish and chips from the smokehouse and ate on the balcony enjoying the views.

L'emplacement est extraordinaire : on a l'impression d'être au dessus de l'eau !!! Le petit port de Mapua, très agréable, est accessible via un passage partant directement de la location. La pièce à vivre et la cuisine sont très spacieuses et ouvertes sur l'extérieur.

An Amazing place and location. The apartment was so cozy, and the view was fabulous! You could sit there all day and watch the world go by. Very relaxing! So close to the restaurants, cafés and bars.

Unfortunately due to the rain / floods we didn't get to see much of Mapua and most of the shops and some cafes were closed.

The noise from the unit below, could hear them chatting and eating breakfast. First appearance the property looks clean, but could actually do with a thorough clean in cupboards, skirting boards, shelves etc

the location and the view are unsurpassed. It’s comfortable and very clean, with good space for 4 people. good heating for chilly nights. It’s our second visit and I m sure we ll return.

It’s not the property’s fault, but mobile signal was weak. Better pantry supplies are required: eg more tea choices, more coffee pods (2 coffee pods for 2 people for 2 days is pretty stingy, even though there was a small supply of filter coffee and instant coffee). EgThere was good kitchen equipment, but without small amounts of oils, herbs, flour etc it’s difficult to self cater when you re only staying a few days without buying lots of basics

The view is to die for! Right on the water edge and a lovely warm apartment. Very comfortable beds. Location is perfect, right next door to the township. Loved our stay here and we will be back. There were 4 adults and we found the apartment spacious and comfortable. The hosts are lovely people and on-site.
