Reviewed Aug 9, 2026We hebben een comfortabel en aangenaam verblijf gehad in Loft d’O in Ieper. Een fantastische uitvalsbasis om de stad en omgeving te bezichtigen. Op een steenworp afstand van het centrum de musea, Menenpoort etc. We hebben ook vlakbij fietsen gehuurd en de omgeving met loopgraafmusea bezocht wat een prachtige dag was. Het appartement is zeer luxe en de details van het voormalige klooster waarin het gevestigd is geven het een unieke atmosfeer. Nancy was proactief met haar informatie en zeer reactief op berichten. De parkeerruimte in de kelder was ideaal. Al met al een probleemloos en aangenaam luxe verblijf.

Reviewed Aug 1, 2025Wat ons het meest beviel was de kwaliteit van het comfort en de locatie. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien. Een goed uitgeruste keuken met hoogwaardige apparatuur zodat af en toe zelf koken een plezier was. Prettig was ook dat elke slaapkamer over een eigen badkamer beschikt (fijn deze privacy) zeker als je, zoals in ons geval, met 3 personen bent. De ligging op steenworp afstand van het centrum is subliem en een oase van rust. Van de mogelijkheid inpandig te parkeren hebben wij (op aanraden van medebewoners) geen gebruik gemaakt vanwege de grootte van onze auto.. Echter op korte loopafstand, naast het station, kan gratis (en veilig) worden geparkeerd.
Er viel niet zoveel tegen maar een paar dingen willen we noemen. Wat opviel was dat de ruimte tussen ramen en voorzetramen smerig was. Dat gold voor de grote badkamer en de grote slaapkamer. Maar het belangrijkste hinderlijke punt, met name voor een van ons, was de geur van het wasmiddel (of wasverzachter?) dat uit het beddengoed opsteeg bij elke beweging in bed. Een scherpe geur die niet te negeren was en voor een paar slapeloze nachten heeft gezorgd.

Reviewed Aug 1, 2023Gorgeous, spacious apartment in the very centre of Ypres. The apartment was beautifully furnished with an ultra modern, state of art kitchen. I would have enjoyed spending more time there but we were very busy with our tours in the area; so easy to do with the central location. Shops and restaurants were all very close yet the apartment was quiet.
The weather was warm and the air conditioning unit was turned off. This forced us to open windows which let in mosquitoes.
