Beautiful surroundings in the centre of Ypres

Had an issue with mosquitoes which meant that we had to close all the windows resulting in a couple of uncomfortable nights.

Super apartment in great central location with secure parking onsite. The rooftop terrace is a real bonus. Hosts were brilliant as always, this is our third visit and hopefully the property will remain available to allow us to use again in the future.

Absolutely nothing, everything was on point.

Het appartement was gied uitgerust. Je had alles om te koken. Zelfs badhanddoeken en keukenhanddoeken, schoteldoek aanwezig. Zowel bad en douche aanwezig. Genoten van de grote badkamer.

'S nachts was er wel lawaaioverlast. Fuif, disco aanwezig in Ieper.

Beautifully presented and quiet apartment right in the center. Well equipped kitchen and a lovely little roof top terrace.

Location was great. Minutes from the square. Large 2 bedroom apartment with all the amenities to cook for yourself. Spotlessly clean. Rates were great. Free Parking. Instructions impeccable. Can't ask for anything more.

We loved the pigeons serenading us in the morning but others may not.

There was no air conditioning in the bedrooms which was quite uncomfortable. The Sofas have seen better years and should really be replaced.

De locatie in een voormalige klooster was magisch. Het appartement ligt een paar minuten stappen van de Lakenhallen. Voor drie personen hadden we veel ruimte. We genoten van de grote keuken, de stilte 's avonds, de vogelzang 's morgens (de bar in de wijk was tijdens ons verblijf gesloten), de gezelligheid van heel het appartement.

Heel het appartement kan een verse laag witte verf gebruiken. De vele spinnenwebben en vogelpoep op het terras deed ons vermoeden dat die ruimte werd vergeten tijdens de laatste opkuisbeurt.

Lovely location, in a beautiful historic building, very central, beautiful views of the town, quiet and peaceful. Fantastic for families.

Oven kept beeping at us and the instructions were not obvious.

The apartment is in a fantastic location very close to the Cloth Hall, the Menin Gate, and many shops and restaurants. The hosts gave the most detailed instructions on how to park and enter the apartment, which was so appreciated. The kitchen and laundry room are well-equipped. The building is beautiful, and we enjoyed this stay very much. Thank you!

The location was perfect. Walking distant to the city sqaure and Menin gate. The instructions provided by the host were excellent. The apartment was huge, warm, comfortable and every attention to detail was accommodated. There is a lift, stairs and wheelchair access. On arrival we noticed we had no towels but within 20 minutes of contacting the host we had our towels! Excellent service. Super happy with the whole experience. Would certainly recommend and stay again.

A second toilet in the main bathroom would have been more convenient with four adults sharing. However, this didn't overtly impact a wonderful experience staying in your beautiful apartment.

Location was perfect, apartment was very good for 4 Adults. Only a 10 minute walk from the Train Station.

The apartment is very spacious, clean and comfortable. Great location, close to cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. You can easily access privately gated, secure off street parking. The hosts provided lots of detailed information regarding location and access. Highly recommended.

A superb property in a super central location with gated private parking. Open the door and you are immediately in the central area of Ypres with all its beautiful historical buildings, restaurants and shops. Our second visit to this property and we can't fault it.

Fantastic location, huge apartment with everything you could need for a self catering stay.

The roof terrace could do with a bit more of a clean (lots of pigeons around…) Some parts of the apartment could benefit from a new lick of paint, but otherwise perfect!

Eigentlich eine schöne großzügige Ferienwohnung. Allerdings nur, wenn man seine Hygienestandards senkt. Leider waren die Betten nicht sonderlich bequem und die Decken hatten Löcher. Das Schlimmste war aber, dass nicht geputzt war. Wenn ich meinen Aufenthalt direkt mit dem Schrubben der völlig verdreckten Toilette beginnen muss, ist das unzumutbar. Vor allem bei dem nicht ganz günstigen Preis.

eigenlijk beviel alles: de locatie in Yper, de grootte en indeling van de loft (slaapkamers, badkamer, zitgedeelte. fijne grote eettafel), het feit dat er 2 airco's waren neergezet in de periode dat het 30 graden, het kunnen parkeren binnen het kloosterterrein, aparte fietsenstalling, mogelijkheid buiten in de tuin te zitten

jammer was dat de zaterdagnacht tot 0300 uur werd verpest door de disco aan de kant van een van de slaapkamers, jammer is ook dat het zitje op het balkon deels onbruikbaar was door de duivenpoep. de douchekraan kan ook een vernieuwing gebruiken. een waarschuwing: denk aan je hoofd bij het koken en afwassen, afzuigkap hangt redelijk laag

De sfeer, de grootte, de inrichting, de locatie, parkeerplaats, de communicatie. Wauw alles klopte en was super. Een absolute aanrader!!!!

Lovely central location in beautiful Ypres . This is our second visit to Albertushof and it was very enjoyable . Sitting on the small terrace in the evening sunshine is very relaxing.

Toilet was some distance from bedrooms, up steps, and not in/near main bathroom.

Fantastic location

The keys were in a secured lock box ,just through the front door, access was great and the instructions sent to us to help us find our way around were superb. Parking at the rear of the building was private, and accessed via remote control key fob , which worked superbly. Maxim one of our hosts was really helpful when we had a problem with our car, flat battery..... he organised someone to come and fix it, amazing service, thank you.

I could not fault the property, exceptional location and hosts.

Superb location in a converted Monastery Beautifully appointed and extremely well equipped

A wonderful apartment that was clean, comfortable, well equipped and located within easy walking distance from Ieper train/bus station, providing very quick and easy walking access to all Ieper has to offer. The apartment is unique in nature, being located within a converted monastery for extra historical appeal. We really enjoyed our stay (celebrating our son’s 18th birthday) and packed our time visiting all the surrounding Great War must see/do’s- all fascinating (& moving) Also had a wonderful day spent in Ghent (again all reached easily by train/bus- you just need to plan your trip and ask/check with the helpful English speaking Belgian Railways staff) You can book this apartment with confidence! Communication with hosts is also first class. We enjoyed a superb few days in this beautiful Belgian town! Thank you!!

Ieper seems to be quite noisy late at night & into the early hours. Some extra noise insulating windows etc would be an ideal addition. Just a small point but worth consideration.

Location. Modern, bright, comfortable & clean.

Very hot. Needs air conditioning in bedrooms. Night club at the back was very loud until 2am kept us awake as had to keep windows open for ventilation.

A superb apartment within a couple of minutes walk of Ypres centre. As we were on a motorcycle tour, it was ideal to be able to use the washing machine to freshen up the clothes!

There is a low beam when coming out of the laundry room - hit my head 3 times on that!! Perhaps give some thought to gluing a strip of sturdy foam on the side nearest the laundry room to minimise the number of stars seen!

There is a nightclub 100m away in direct line-of-site. Sleep was difficult as the music & noise went on until the early hours.

Location was perfect right in the centre of town. We loved that the apartment was dressed for Christmas. It was great to have private parking.

My husband didn't like the memory foam mattress.

The only thing I would have liked was a second toilet in the bathroom. There was one toilet that is at the other end of the apartment from the bedrooms. The bathroom is very big so I’m assuming there is a plumbing reason why there is not one in there. But this is a very minor issue

Great central location in Ypres, very quiet and peaceful. The apartment is exceptional with comfortable beds and a bright open plan lay out. The outside decked area is fantastic too, I spent a late afternoon out there snoozing in the autumn sun. I highly recommend this apartment - if you can get availability, book it.

Could do with a replacement rooftop umbrella as the current one doesn't function.

A fantastic apartment in the centre of Ypres but very quiet, apart from the weekend when the bars are open but with the windows closed it didn’t bother our sleep. The kitchen is amazing. Lots of storage and had everything we needed.

Although we loved the roof terrace it is looking a bit tired. A little repair and freshen up would make it perfect

Excellent location, couldn't ask for better. Lovely old building. Large apartment with plenty of room to move. Large kitchen, well stocked with crockery and cutlery. Lots of windows and love that we had sun shining into the apartment both in the morning and the afternoon, and to lay in bed in the aftenoon with the sun to warm me was very nice! Big bathroom, hot shower. Comfy bed. No air con but didnt need it with the air flow from the open windows. Great to have a washing machine with a clothes horse too. Lots of seating at the table and on the lounges. In hindsight, we should have given Brussells a miss and stayed longer in Ypres. Plenty to do and see, and lovely service and excellent food in the local eateries. Despite the short comings listed (it would have been perfect had these been addressed), I would still recommend this apartment as it was too nice and in too good a location not to enjoy, and should we return to Ypres, would look to booking this apartment again.

Let down by having a coffee pad machine with no coffee pads to use, and by having a filter coffee making machine with no fiters, and no ground coffee. As much as there was a supermarket not too far away, it is always nice to be welcomed by some starter supplies ie coffee pad and the like. We are then likely to leave our extras that we buy when we have been given some to start with. Also no other starter supplies in tissues or hand (or body) wash in the bath room. Towels and linen could do with replacing as sheets were so worn that they had holes in, and towels were are bit old and threadbare, and very small.

Excellent location. Only 5 minute walk from the main square, really nice apartment in an historical interesting building. This apartment had everything you need for our stay.

Location as it was directly opposite a nightclub that had music on or youngsters shouting outside until 4am and one night 6am. Owners obviously knew as had provided earplugs but nothing seemed to drown the noise out.

Can’t think of anything which could have made it better. We were so pleased with it.

We are regular visitors to Ypres and have stayed in various hotels and apartments. This one however is by far the best. The location is ideal for visitors wanting to be in the very heart of Ypres.

The property is perfectly situated in the centre of Ypres. It is just perfect. We have stayed here now a couple of times

excellent location for all central facilities. large spacious apartment. well equipped and clean. well presented even had Christmas decorations! ideal for family. excellent secure parking and safe location. located right on the high street with several shops, cafe etc. a lovely historic beautiful building and setting.

2 flight of stairs but there is a lift available. there was dog mess in the gravel car park near the entrance to the property. there is a nightclub / bar nearby and you can hear slightly their music in the evening. the drains in the bathroom from shower and sink did have a smell however this went away when you ran the taps - perhaps needs looking at?

Great location with ample room for parking. The accommodation was clean and tidy with more than enough room for us all. No noise from other apartments and we were supplied ear plugs for outside noise from clock towers but found that they weren't noisey at all.

The small bathroom was especially cold, due to a lack of heating in that area of the house. However, it was the beginning of December so it was rather chilly in Ypres.
