The house unit they gave us was not the one shown in the photos on their Booking.com advertisement. I was expecting the two-story house that was advertised, but instead they gave us a much smaller house unit. I don’t think it was worth the amount I paid, and I was very disappointed because it did not match what was advertised.

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026Overall, great value! The room itself, whilst on the smaller side, was perfect for the two of us. Because of the central location, you can essentially walk everywhere. But it’s also near a bus stop so you can easily flag down a taxi as well. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our requests. The room doesn’t have AC but with the fan provided, we found we didn’t need it especially with the cool weather.
The staff were really great! Getting a hold of them could be a little hard though. We had to ring the buzzer a few times, and the gentlemen said that it seemed like the buzzer wasn’t working/couldn’t be heard inside. But honestly, it wasn’t that big of a deal, the staff were great to deal with anyways. Also the room we booked had the double bed in a loft situation. I imagine it would feel a little cramped if you were on the taller side - luckily I’m not!

The view from the apartment window is just the apartment next door, but from the front porch and front patio the view is totally amazing! The front porch has two wooden chairs and a small table, and we made a point of sipping tea there in the evening.
The faucet in the kitchen was loose in the sink (it rotated) and it dripped. The water was turned off below. I'm sure prior guests did this and didn't say anything. We showed the host and I'm sure they fixed it right away.

The property really needs to upgrade the small fan they have. Baguio is cold, but once you’re inside the apartment it gets warm, especially in the bunk bed area. It gets really hot.

Reviewed Mar 17, 2026We had a great stay at JGCA Apartments while visiting Baguio City. From the moment I booked, the communication was excellent. As a foreigner arriving by bus, they were really helpful explaining exactly how to find the place from the station, which made things a lot easier. My girlfriend and I arrived very late (around 1am) but they were still super prompt to meet us and incredibly friendly. Throughout the stay the hospitality was top notch. When the gas in the apartment ran out they sorted it quickly, and even small things like needing a bit of cooking oil were no problem at all. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The location is honestly 10/10 and the other reviews are spot on. It’s less than a 5-minute walk to Burnham Park, where there’s always something going on – street food, coffee stalls, souvenirs, Zumba, go-karts, you name it. SM City Baguio is also nearby which is handy for groceries or anything you need. As a Kiwi I was also surprised how cheap taxis are around the city, so getting around is easy. The apartment itself is a great size for a couple or a small family. The main bed is suspended from the ceiling so it’s a bit of a climb, but it’s super comfy and cozy once you’re up there. The kitchen has the basics for cooking, which worked well for us. One small note – Baguio can get a bit cool at night compared to the daytime, so a heater might be nice. We didn’t ask for one, but based on how helpful the hosts were I’m sure they’d sort something out if needed. All in all, a really great place to stay with fantastic hosts and an unbeatable location. Would happily stay here again. Cheers from a Kiwi traveller.

Reviewed Mar 16, 2026The place is well situated. Close to all cool spots. The property itself is very aesthetically pleasing and with the green plants and flowers and outside seating. It’s is very clean and well maintained.
The shower was disappointing - water was tepid and the shower wasn’t great as it had no pressure. Ended up using the stove kettle and electric kettle to use the old bucket and tabo method. Unfortunately, we were there from Fri till the weekend - flower festival made it very noisy at night. As we prefer to open windows than electric fan, but we had to close windows and revert back to electric fan. I was visiting with my mother - neither of us could sleep unfortunately, due to the highway noise and for some reason or another we both were somehow allergic to the bed linen - as we were both itchy. The main bedroom, smelled - unfortunately from the humidity coming from wardrobe, so we kept our clothes in the other bedroom (with bunk bed) - as it seem to have been aired out more. Other than that - the staff are very friendly and accommodating…Leanne was particularly nice and super friendly - lovely lady!!
