De rust en ruimte
Dat er regelmatig grote spinnen waren. En de trap best eng was met maar één trapleuning. Verder oke
Very comfortable with some nice touches like fresh milk, bread, eggs provided. Very friendly hosts. Great location to explore region.
All good.
Was attending an nearby event....the welcome was unreal...the apartment has everything....including a dog, Spud who welcomes everyone only sorry we didn't book for longer we will be back...P&K
Le calme malgré la route principale assez prêt
Je pensais trouvé une maison seule pas un lotissement.
It was very charming and in a nice area. Pat & Jin are the sweetest people!
No complaints, well accommodated.
A cosy and beautiful apartment near Carlow. You need a car, but the location was perfect for us to get to Wicklow, Kilkenny, Glendalough and even Waterford. The kitchen is well equipped with really all you need . The bedroom is upstairs. The living has a beautiful view of a park. You also have bathrobes and slippers, very useful. The parking is right in front of the apartment.
Excellent hosts. Great communication from booking to arrival. Nothing is too much trouble for Pat and Jin; they have created a really thoughtfully appointed place for a short break. The Welcome Pack was a lovely addition and much appreciated. Easy to find. Handy for Carlow centre. The local hotel is great too and the surrounding grounds provide a peaceful location.
Personal attendance.
K
It was nice that the hosts left tea, coffee, eggs etc for us as after travelling to get there this was much appreciated. Quiet area with no disruption but right beside the hotel so easy to get dinner and drinks.
The electric kettle is a bit leaky from the lid. Kept spilling so maybe a new one is needed.
Location and facilities
Duvet was very warm
Everything was perfect! Jin and Pat were such nice hosts who not only came to give us the keys and show the property around, but were also kind to give us a lift from the bus stop when we arrived to Carlow and also offered to drop us to the bus station when we were leaving. The property was amazing!! The view from the living room was nothing short of stunning and the bed was so so comfortable!! All the little touches such as the cereals and coffee in the cupboard, eggs and milk in the fridge were also really good. The property was really clean as well so that's definitely a plus for me. The location was really handy as well with the bus stop to the town center just being a 10 minute walk. The property is also located in the grounds of the Woodford Dolmen hotel so it was easy to go have lunch and dinner as well. There were also cab services available so that was another plus. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a place to stay while they explore Carlow.
Everything was perfect!!
Great location to branch out to Southern Ireland. Carlow the town had good access to groceries and some pubs and roads out were easy.
Bedroom is upstairs and bathroom is downstairs. Bed was a little small for us but personal opinion.
The property was lovely and well equipped.
There was no toilet upstairs
We had a very warm welcome. The very kind hosts provided us with cereal, milk, eggs, tea, coffee, bread, oil and all that one would expect in a home. Thank you it was a very pleasant stay!
All was good 👍
The apartment was very clean and welcoming. Lovely spot in Carlow just 5 minutes walk from a local bus stop. Good value. Highly recommend
It was good to meet the host, and the space was provided, there was a brief mix up around with rooms but that was resolved almost instantly. It was what we needed the day before a flight.
Fabulous apartment. Perfect for a relaxing stay
We had a fantastic stay at the Cut Limestone Apartment at Riverside Lodge! From the moment we arrived, Pat was incredibly accommodating—flexible with our check-in time and gave us a warm welcome with a helpful tour of the apartment. The place itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. A special thanks to Pat and his partner Jin for the thoughtful touches—fresh milk, eggs, tea, coffee delicious scones were waiting for us, which made us feel right at home. Check-out was a breeze, and we truly wouldn’t hesitate to come back for another getaway. Highly recommended!
Lovely welcoming hosts. Delicious scones and jam left for us, plus basic breakfast produce which was very much appreciated as we arrived late after shops closed. It’s a peaceful location and within walking distance of a regular bus service into Carlow town.
Nothing- it’s all good.
As advertised. Very clean. Hosts couldn't be more accommodating. Lots of light. Had everything we needed. Highly recommend.
Everything was clean, the hosts Pat & Jin were incredibly welcoming, there were complimentary milk, eggs, bread and some homemade biscuits on arrival. The accommodation was really cozy and comfortable.
Welcoming hosts. Lovely comfortable space.
The owners were extraordinarily kind the land and building itself was very quaint and cute it was a perfect Valentine's Day get away
It was perfect nothing to dislike
Beautiful 😍
Easy check in and check out. Lovely accommodation beside beautiful hotel and grounds
Great location given the keys when arrive no hassle everything you need is provided stayed here before and defo stay again
Nothing
Quiet clean modern
Guests should be informed about the stairs.
The hosts are very kind. They offered small cakes, milk, eggs , water and bread to welcome us. Coffee and tee was readily available. They showed us the house and explained everything. The house is cosy and the bedroom upstairs is unique. We had a very pleasent stay. Since it is located close to the M9 you have easy access to the whole region. All shops are in Carlow. The hotel next door has a good restaurant. The access to the house is via the entry to the Woodford Dolmen Hotel, then keep left. Keep the hosts update concerning your time of arrival and they will wait and welcome you.
Everything fine.
Cant fault anything about this property or the hosts. A lovely place to stay and relax with all the comforts of home.

A beautiful 1 bedroom apartment, that had everything in it . Location perfect. Spotlessly clean. We will certainly be back if visiting Carlow.
Nothing.
House was spotlessly clean. Lovely welcoming touches such as freshly baked scones, butter and jam. Fresh bread / milk and water in the fridge. House had everything could possibly need. Host was extremely helpful and considerate. Great location, so close to the hotel but with zero of the associated noise. Very comfy bed. By far the best Air B n B I have stayed in.
Nothing. It is the perfect place to stay.
Very clean, welcoming, had everything we needed. Owners were absolutely wonderful. Fresh scones on arrival. They really couldn’t of done more for us. Highly recommend
The stairs down to the bathroom. More of a hindrance than a dislike.
The quiet and how tranquil it was
This was an excellent self-catering apartment. Approaching arrival, Jin was very helpful directing us to the place by text, and welcomed us on arrival. Scones and some basic food items were there for us too. The apartment was exceptionally well appointed and spick-and-span. The kitchen was very well equipped, and everything you might need during your stay was there. There is a hotel restaurant next door if you want to dine out some days.
Note that there are stairs up to the bedroom, and the bathroom is downstairs.
Pat and Jin were so welcoming with lots of personal touches ,homemade scones on arrival ,milk in the fridge, and treats for tea and coffee. Immaculately clean ,lovely decor and location and a very comfortable bed
The property was perfect for a little vacation it’s cute and cosy with secure parking surrounded with beautiful countryside the hosts were friendly and kind and even baked us some fresh cakes and left us with all the essentials that we needed would be happy to return again
I had no issues
Pat and Jin are excellent hosts , friendly welcome , and Scones on arrival . Bread , milk, eggs, and chocolate supplied lovely idea .The apartment was spotless . Friendly dog Spud next door .
Our hosts went the extra mile to help us with transport (including a lift to the coach park), and the provision of some kitchen essentials (including coffee pods) meant we didn't have to shop for breakfast.
Nothing not to like. We were even able to do some washing since there's a washing machine.
Parking right outside property. Comfortable bed. Bathrobes and slippers provided. Comfortable living space and well equipped kitchen.
Bad smell at times coming from the washing machine area.
Pat and Jin greeted us with freshly baked scones. Comfortable living room and well-equipped kitchen.
Lots of steps between bathroom and bedroom - not a big problem, though.
Everything ! Couldn't ask for better hosts
Nothing
Pat and Jin went above and beyond any of my expectations. They not only met me with the key and gave me a tour of the apartment, they picked me up and drove me there. The morning I left, they came very early in the morning and drove me to the bus station. The apartment is very cozy and the bed is comfortable. It is located just in the outskirts of Carlow but the distance is very walkable and the bus system is good. It is located beside a hotel which has a very good restaurant if you didn’t want to cook or go far to eat and the grounds are green and peaceful, with a small walking loop. I would not hesitate to stay there again and highly recommend it to others.
There was nothing about this experience to dislike.
The couple who checked us in were lovely. Homemade scones & breakfast supplies were provided.
The toilet and bathroom were on a different floor to the bedroom. The staircase between them was steep and winding stairs with limited head space. The bathroom sink did not have hot water. The kitchen sink appeared to have HW but we couldn't switch it on? The whole apartment is on a master switch connected to the front door. Every time my husband went out the entire apartment is disconnected from the electricity. We did not really feel comfortable during our stay.
It was amazing.
The hosts were extremely helpful and kind, the lodge was very comfortable with lots of natural light and little touches like cosy blankets and homemade scones on arrival.
The Internet was a little shakey, sometimes worked absolutely fine, and sometimes would slow down a fair bit. Could have done with some more towels (we had one set each)
Great to have milk & other breakfast essentials left for us. The homemade scones were delicious. Everything we needed was provided- even washing pods for the washing machine. There’s a handy CW1 bus from Tyndall College (15 mins walk away) every 30 minutes. It runs 7 days a week til around midnight. We attended the PanCeltic Festival every day and much preferred this accommodation to the one we rented last festival time (Easter ‘23).
There was a kitchen, bread, eggs, scones, drinks and some chocolate so could make breakfast and have a snack which was appreciated. I hadn't thought of getting groceries and it was handy.
No issues with the accommodation.
The hosts were very welcoming, we Loved the fresh scones waiting for us on arrival. Also fridge stocked with breakfast essentials. Really appreciated this as we had a busy weekend and didn’t have to go out for breakfast.
Beautiful apartment, lovely welcome from the hosts. Scone , butter, jam, milk , eggs, bread and cereal supplied so that was above and beyond , we didn't expect it. We will definitely be back very soon. Top class
There was nothing we didn't like
Good location right beside the hotel
Everything was perfect
Super well maintained, great accommodations, genuinely incredible owners. Could not have asked for a better experience.
Nothing, everything was amazing.
Not too far out of town and had everything we needed for self catering
Nothing
Fantastic accommodation and the owners were exceptional. I have stayed in many self catering houses but I have never met such helpful and hospitable hosts as Jin and Pat. I would definitely recommend Cut Limestone Apartment to others as it is a wonderful place to stay and the owners are unique. Thank you.
For me the accommodation was perfect.
Personal touch, basic fresh food in the fridge which was very welcome, very comfortable and cosy bed, good shower, good location, quiet and secure. 30 second walk to the bar in the hotel.Pat and Yin are a delightful couple who went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable, including dropping us into town. The house is set 25 mins walk from town in grounds next to the Dolmen Hotel. The scenery was stunning as was the autumnal foliage.
Nothing
This is my 2nd stay, and just as good as the 1st. Great apartment, lots of space (1 bedroom). Lovely setting and gardens. Close to all the amentmities of a hotel. The hosts are really lovely people. Fresh scones, milk, eggs and bread left for us. A bottle of red wine and new wine glasses left as a gift. All in, excellent.
Can't think of anything... Just lovely...
Self catering and facilities were excellent. Location was exceptional but you do need a car to get around.
Internet was terrible! 4G only and not enough for the TV or downloading docs.
Lovely friendly hostess. Lots of space and comfortable beds. The chocolates and food in the cupboards was a bonus. They exceeded my expectations and I would recommend to anyone staying there again!!
Nothing, everything was perfect and they it was clear to see they go above and beyond to please their guests.
Nice small apartment, very comfortable sofa for reading & relaxing! Very friendly host, the welcome scones were delicious!
Bedroom is a bit small, bed was good. Shower also a bit small, but sufficient.
Everything.
The only contra was coming down stairs to the bathroom during the night.
The hospitality of the owners and the care of the apartment in every detail, such as the coffee pods and bathrobes in the bathroom.
Nothing.
A lovingly furnished and very clean apartment. Well equipped for two people. The bedroom is on the top floor and can be reached via a staircase. Pat and his wife gave us a warm welcome with very tasty, freshly made scones and even provided the basics (toast, eggs, cereals) for breakfast the next day. By far the best apartment on our entire trip.
very clean, modern, light and airy very comfortable and well equipped
