Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Everything! Spotlessly clean, nicely furnished, great aircon and huge OLED TV were appreciated. Victor (the host) was excellent - he let me keep my hire car in the car park before and after the stay for a few hours, left Malaysian sweets for me each morning and was available instantly on WhatsApp for any questions. The location is really good - right on the river and only 5 mins walk to the main tourist area with a stack of restaurants and cafes around the immediate area. (Check out Curious Baker across the road for great coffee and excellent pastries!) I only had two nights and was sad I had to leave, I could easily have stayed another night or two.
Nothing major - the towels were small and very thin which felt a bit cheap and there can be a smell of sewerage when you step outside, noting that is not a reflection on the property (hot, humid country and possibly polluted river) and you don't smell it inside. So really nothing major - it was a really enjoyable stay.

Parking which is far from the hotel. We need to off-load the trolley luggage near to hotel and driving to the parking lot. Backpack should be no problem.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Spotless clean unit. Room is spacious, even the toilet too. I like the room decor and the bed also comfortable. Location is great. Building is near most of the attraction in banda hilir and has great view of the river. What else i can say. This hotel has the whole package. Pictures taken was view from hotel.
At night nearby pub or restaurant is quite noisy. No late check out. By 11am sharp owner of the hotel will knock the door and wait. But this is not really a bad thing. Owner is very friendly uncle.

Located at the banks of the Malacca river and close to the historical center of Melaka, it offers convenience and at the same time a quiet relaxed atmosphere. The interior is very enticing, cozy and functional. We could have easily spent the rest of our days there!

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026The apartment was lovely, actually a bit nicer than the photos. Location is fantastic - right on the riverfront, a few minutes walk from Jonker st night market or the red square. Its very picturesque. There's a lovely riverside walkway that goes for at least 3 km so you can walk (or run!) straight from the front door. Just a shame the river is quite polluted. We stayed thurs- sunday and i was a bit worried about noise from nearby bars but it was fine. My husband is a light sleeper and needed ear plugs but it didn't bother the kids. I was pleased we picked the top floor apartment because almost as soon as we arrived the person in the apartment below was complaining about the noise the kids were making on the floor (they were not being exceptionally noisy, just kids). Think the floors are thin!
Didn't like how the owner rounded the bill up to 10 ringitt when we had the exact change we could have paid.

The parking lot is far from the place about 3 mins walk where in a abandoned building. Not really feeling safe. But everything went well.

At night we had sourdough pizza nearby and next morning we walked in a different direction and had breakfast at a local coffeeshop. Unit is very clean and spacious for our family of 5. Check in and out was a breeze. Carpark is not at the unit itself but is just a short 2 minute walk away. Would love to book this place again if we revisit Melaka.
The aircon can be stronger. Not sure if the sound insulation can be improved coz at night we can hear noises of people walking past.

The bathroom for 4 pax- When bidet tap is on, the bathroom floor has water flowing out from behind the water tank of toilet -luckily there was a mop there to use for drying up. There were 5 of us but only 4 forks were provided. No teaspoons for stirring drink in cups. No teapot or coffee pot to make our beverage and we had to pour from coffee satchets a little bit at a time into the small coffee cups and stirring the beverage with dinner spoons. Once outside I think the smell from the river is overpowering.

Alle Angaben des Inhabers über WhatsApp einfach zu verfolgen. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir waren im Feb. 2026 da. 2 volle Tage für Melaka Stadt reichen gut. Unser Zimmer war im Erdgeschoss und hatte 3 Doppelbetten. Mit 4 Personen ist es jedoch zu empfehlen. Kleine Küche ist vorhanden.

Die Wohnung war groß, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht – man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Außerdem ist die Lage top, alles Wichtige ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!

Las vistas eran desde la escalera. Los dormitorios no tenían ventanas al exterior y en el salón había una ventana bastante pequeña, aunque la vista si te asomabas era preciosa. Una pena que no fuera más grande.
