Well positioned, good value for money. Very clean and comfortable. Would absolutely recommend it.

Maybe advise passengers that the Uber/Bolt taxi cannot drive to the door and has no idea of how to get there exactly. We had to get off in front of the Cathedral and walk about 100 mtrs using Google maps. Not hard when you know where you’re going. Nothing major just a bit stressful in a new city.

Nos gustó todo en general, el apartamento estaba muy bien cuidado, nuevo, muy limpio y la ubicación muy céntrica.

Lo único a resaltar, por decir algo, es que no estaría de más que en 5 noches hubiesen pasado a cambiar las toallas de baño o haber dejado dos más, pero en general muy bien.

Très propre et spacieux. Fidèle à l’annonce. Accueil très agréable : chocolats, bananes et alcool de Madère.

Très bon emplacement. Studio spacieux avec terrasse calme sur rue arrière, malgré la rue pietonne et les commerces. Établissement très propre, bien tenu.

Aucun contact avec l'exploitant. Équipement de la cuisine vraiment minimum.

We loved its proximity to the Cathedral and waterfront.

Just a couple of improvements for guests. The sofa which is the main seating area needs to be replaced. It sags quite a bit and is uncomfortable. Also, instructions need to be given ( paperwork) for use of the washing machine and the coffee maker.

Room was spacious and it felt more like an airbnb, location was also very good.

It’s not cheap however and we were asked to leave €4 for tax. The iron wasn’t good however and the colour of my shirt changed because of it when i tried to use it.. now that I think of it, I should’ve reported it to the owner.

Sin duda ninguna la ubicacion. Calle muy animada por el día y tranquila por la noche, por lo que el descanso estaba garantizado incluso con la ventana abierta.

De vez en cuando olían las cañerías en el baño.

A minha estadia no Queimada Houses foi ótima. A acomodação ofereceu conforto e praticidade, encontrando-se limpa e bem organizada à chegada. A localização é excelente e permitiu deslocar-me com facilidade, que foi essencial dado o motivo da estadia. Considero que a relação qualidade‑preço é adequada. No geral, foi uma estadia agradável, sem qualquer aspeto negativo a apontar.

Se trata de una calle céntrica. En la mismísima calle hay varios restaurantes, muy cerca cafeterías y también, debajo del piso una chocolatería. El supermerdado más cercano tampoco está lejos. Muchas gracias por la enorme flexibilidad: por una tormenta por el oceano, tuvimos que cancelar nuestro viaje a Porto Santo, por lo cual tuvimos que alargar nuestra estancia en Funchal: después de preguntárselo a Queimada House, pudimos quedar una noche más sin problema.

Nahezu alles perfekt. Lage, Ausstattung, ruhig, zentral, sauber. Nur winzige Sachen hätte ich mir zusätzlich gewünscht: - Ablage in der Dusche für Shampoo etc. - Handtuchhalter neben Waschbecken - Salz und Zucker in der Küche - Waschmaschinenpulver Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Die Wohnung ist prima. Wir fühlten uns alle sehr wohl dort.

Kein Ersatzmülleimerbeutel auffindbar. Die sollten sich eigentlich unter der Spülen befinden. Waschmaschinendämpfer ausgeschlagen, so daß die Maschine beim Schleudern schlägt und tanzt und die Küche ramponiert

Posizione centralissima in pieno centro, a pochi passi dalla cattedrale e dalla marina. Camera di dimensioni adeguata munita di bagno in camera e piccola cucina annessa.

Tudo impecável e uns produtos regionais de boas vindas estavam à nossa disposição. Tive uma situação complicada para resolver e ajudaram me no imediato a resolver, foram super prestáveis.

De locatie is fantastisch; midden in het oude centrum, vlakbij de kathedraal. Net in een straatje erachter, dus geen verkeer. Je kunt gebruik maken van een garage 10 minuten lopen verderop. Ruim appartement met balkon met zitje voor koffie of ontbijtje (geen eettafel). Prima bedden. Sanitair is ok, alles blijft wel vochtig, dus fijn om de handdoeken buiten te drogen op het wasrek.

No era acogedor, no tenía sofá (sólo un sillón para sentarte),cama muy incómoda y se escuchaba cualquier pequeño ruido que hacían los vecinos.

The location was perfect

Not really set up for self catering had no microwave, missing some cooking utensils and no cleaning equipment so unable to wipe down etc, also no visible or extra heating available this included the bathroom, so unable to dry off used towels. Sofa was very large and not comfortable.

Fantastic location inbetween Old Town (5-10mins) and Marina/Harbour area. Lots of restaurants and cafes on doorstep. Massive bedroom area, and bathroom, comfortable bed and quality linen, good kitchen and nice welcome items like tea/coffee.

Apartment was a bit cold with no heating (March) - bathroom no heated towel rail or radiator so no way to dry towels; not enough blankets on bed but host responded quickly to rectify. Wardrobe door sticking and doors scraping floor - minor alternations needed. Would benefit from a small sofa or comfortable armchairs x2. Host very responsive when had an electrical problem.

Bel appartement rénové récemment (cuisine, SAM, chambre, salle douche), avec une grande terrasse, au 3eme étage d'un immeuble sécurisé (digicode, caméra), avec ascenseur. Idéalement situé à 100 m de la cathédrale dans une rue piétonne du quartier historique. Petits cadeaux d'accueil à notre arrivée (chocolats, madere, bananes). Caution de 100 euros à donner à l'arrivée, rendue sans probleme avant notre départ.

Le logement est propre et bien décoré. L'emplacement est idéal. Les équipements sont complets. Je recommande vivement.

Z uwagi na ogólną sytuację - odwołane loty przez orkan - był lekki over-booking . Zostaliśmy przeniesieni do innego miejsca. Niestety w tej miejscówce na dole jest nocna dyskoteka. Dzięki informacjom od innych, wcześniejszych klientów, zaopatrzyliśmy się w aptece w korki do uszów:-) . Bez tego mogło by być ciężko.

Fantastic location! Just what we wanted as we’d come to see the Christmas lights in Funchal. They left some complimentary chocolates, fruit and wine which was lovely! The apartment was very clean. The staff were responsive to my questions and very helpful.

It wasn’t clear that if you needed to use the sofa bed you had to request bedding for it beforehand. Not a massive issue but we had our 2 30 year+ kids with us who haven’t shared a bed in 20 years! But all worked out OK. The shower heads were not attached but showers worked well.

Location is good- this is a city center

The standard is very poor. Furniture and electronics are old. We stayed for 2 nights and there was no hot water. Acoustic is very poor- you hear everything from neighbors and street.

Situación fabulosa. Las fotos reflejan la realidad. Todo muy limpio. Nos dejaron unos bombones y una botellita de vino de bienvenida. Cuando llegamos no había tostadora, preguntamos por ella porque había leído que había, y ese mismo día cuando volvimos nos la habían traído

Property was advertised with balcony , but we didn’t get one ,was disappointing, as we were only people in apartments block and didn’t get apartment with balcony ,cause 2 apartments with balcony was empty during our stay ! (There is Small communal area on top floor to share between four apartments..)

Good location for visiting the town attractions. The room is quite big.

Too many details are off. A deposit is required, it was not specified at the time of the booking. Only cash accepted. City tax: cash. Parking advertised as 'available': it costs, cash, and it's 10 min away. No receipts where given and the staff could not give exact change back. The windows are above a noisy (loud music) and smelly restaurant. No noise at night, but they get their supplies at 7am. I stayed 8 nights, no fresh towels nor sheets were offered. No way to hang the towels. No support for soap/shower gel in the shower. No towels at all in the kitchen. No extra garbage bags. The side of the fridge was oily, presumably from previous guests cooking. There is a washing machine, but no detergent. The bed is too short (I'm a bit over 1.80 / 5'11). Among the advertised facilities: city/landmark view. Certainly not from the apartment windows. "Soundproof rooms", I could hear the ticking of a wall clock from the neighbor apartment. When guests arrived there...

The property was in an amazing location with all amenities on the door step. The apartment was spacious and very clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

I wanted to provide a useful and balanced review for future guests. Here is a summary of the aspects I encountered during my stay to help you make the best decision: Critical Points: Bedding Cleanliness: Upon late arrival, I was unpleasantly surprised to find hairs in the bed linen. Although I contacted the host, the issue was only resolved the following day, affecting my first night's rest. 1.Allergies and Detergents: Guests sensitive to strong scents or prone to allergies should be cautious. The detergent used for the linen is very strong and caused sneezing and discomfort throughout the night for me (first time experiencing this). 2.Pest Issues: Even though I was careful with hygiene and immediately disposed of household waste, I encountered an unexpected presence of ants in the accommodation space. 3. Parking Advice: Be informed! If you arrive in the evening, always check the immediate vicinity for options. I discovered that free street parking is available between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM, information that would have helped me save the money paid for the private parking located 800m away. Recommendation: The accommodation has potential, but the lack of attention to essential details (initial cleanliness, quick problem resolution) and the incomplete information about parking can overshadow the experience. I hope this feedback is constructive for the host and useful for future guests.

Great location right beside the old cathedral. Short walk from everything. 10mins to the old town.

Parking is very limited in Funchal in general. We found great parking in the “Car Park Plaza” in the Plaza Madeira shopping centre which was a 10 min walk from the apartment

Tolle Lage, echt zentral, Taxis direkt um die Ecke. Großzügiges Zimmer und zuverlässige Vermieter.

Wir mögen harte Matratzen, diese waren allerdings mehr als hart.

Fantastic location—minutes from iconic sights on a picturesque, shop-lined street. The apartment is spacious, spotless, and well equipped; nights were very quiet.

Parking on nearby streets is extremely difficult (true across Funchal). We used Almirante car park—about a 10-minute walk, €15/24h. Note: mornings can be noisy as nearby restaurants set up.

Superb central location but on a quiet street. Totally soundproofed. Apartments were as described in photos. Very comfortable. Welcome treats a nice touch. We were able to leave our bags at the accommodation after check out.

Er waren geen hand/theedoeken aanwezig. Een stoffer en blik zou ook fijn zijn geweest. Parkeren met de auto was wel een ding. Om een gegarandeerd parkeerplaats te krijgen, kon men wel via de host regelen voor 12 euro per dag. Dat was wel 10minuten lopen van het verblijf.

Fijne locatie midd in het centrum! Alles was dichtbij op loopafstand in het gezellige centrum. We zaten op de 3e etage en daardoor hadden we ook geen last van het geluid uit de straatjes. We hadden een auto gehuurd en konden een parkeerplaats huren van de eigenaar dit was ongeveer 7 minuten lopen vanaf het apartement. De kamer was ruim en netjes

We hadden de kamer 7 dagen, er werd niet gevraagd of we schone handdoeken nodig hadden of iets dergelijks. In de keuken stond een wasmachine zonder wasmiddel ( welke tourist neemt er wasmiddel mee of koopt een hele fles?) je kan in een bakje op zn minst voor 1 x wassen wasmiddel doen. Er waren geen extra vuilniszakken, het afval werd ook niet opgehaald, er was ook geen info waar ik het zelf kon laten, en na 7 dagen gaat dat toch wel ruiken in een warme kamer aangezien er ook geen airco of ventilator aanwezig was. Dit zijn mischien wat tips waar de eigenaar iets mee zou kunnen doen

Super localizaçao, perto de principais pontos turisticos, Sé, museu CR7, Marina, mercado dos lavradores, teleférico, igreja do colégio e mt perto de varios comércios.

Da falta de atenção de pedido de uma taxa extra ja paga e de ter de ser eu a pedir o reembolso da caução. A limpeza das casas de banho e dos candeeiros um pouco a desejar.
