L'emplacement formidable avec la vue sur cette si jolie place. Un vrai plaisir à toutes heures. Appartement très grand, neuf et lumineux Très agréable à vivre et reposant. Les grands placards et les lampes de chevet. C'est pas si fréquent !

J'ai un peu regretté que la fenêtre de la chambre n'ait pas de vue. Mais, ceci est compensé par les nombreuses fenêtres du salon salle à manger. Et la chambre reste lumineuse. J'aurais également apprécié une seconde lumière plus douce dans la salle de bain.

Lovely spacious apartment. Perfect location overlooking the square (but still very quiet) and a stones throw from old town. Rooms were really big and had good Aircon throughout. Very clean. Very good comms before check-in with instructions, advice for parking, restaurant recommendations etc

There could have been 2 more shower towles included in our 4 day stay. A microwave would have been a great addition to have. A washing machine would have been great, but I undetstand that space for big appliancea are limited in flats.

It is perfectly placed in the Old Town. Extremely comfortable and Alexandra and Fabio were extremely helpful, nothing was a problem

Location was excellent - midway between the old town and the ‘upper town’ so plenty of choices for restaurants, etc. The apartment was simply but adequately furnished and equipped. We would go back and would recommend it to others.

Bed is quite hard and small

Mieszkanie w świetnej lokalizacji, a pan Fabio znakomicie się nami zaopiekował podczas zameldowania. Mieszkanie jest położone blisko portu (400m), blisko muzeum Cristiano (800m), a także blisko strefy kibica (200m, byliśmy podczas meczu o trzecie miejsce i finału mundialu). W okolicy było wiele dobrych restauracji, a także pętla autobusowa i sklepy zarówno spożywcze jak i z pamiątkami.

La localisation est super. Lit confortable. L’appartement est très grand et lumineux. Quartier très calme et non bruyant. Élizabeth, l’hôte, était très accueillante et nous a donné plusieurs bonnes recommandations.

L’accès à l’appartement doit se faire à pied uniquement, mais quand même très accessible. Aucun stationnement de rue, mais option payant à proximité.

Located in the center of Funchal within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions. Spacious rooms and featured a great view of a town square from the living room windows. We used Bolt to get out a bit further in Funchal and a handful of tours to explore the island. Check-in went really smoothly and the use of a combination lock and double-bolted door with a key provided added layers of security. We felt very safe walking around the city during the daytime and evening hours. While we didn't use the kitchen very much, it did have a good supply of dishes and utensils. Mini-split HVAC systems in the living room and bedroom did a great job of cooling the place to the temperature we desired. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Lots of closet space and drawers in the bedroom. Overall, highly recommended and a solid value!

Would have liked to have a couple of washcloths for the bathroom.

Great communication before check in and a very warm welcome which was lovely! The apartment is a great size, with a very well equipped kitchen and everything you need. The bed is comfortable, and the apartment location is excellent, very easy to walk to all the sights in Funchal and with really good restaurants nearby.

O apartamento era um charme, melhor localização impossível, limpíssimo, silencioso, com tudo o que precisávamos para nossa estadia, o anfitrião nos enviou dicas de passeios na ilha, sempre nos perguntava se estávamos bem... O check-out também, havia um local para deixarmos nossas coisas até o horário do nosso voo. Vamos indicar e vamos voltar!

Everything was good.

Our apartment no. 5 was a tray choice! The location is perfect for exploring Funchal on foot and the square is lovely (with live music in the evening). Fábio was extremely helpful and welcoming, went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. The apartment is spacious, comfy and clean. The kitchen is big and well equipped (we would just appreciate some oil for cooking). Check in and check out super easy and flexible. Definitely recommend!

The location was fabulous and centrally located to everything in town. The noise level was minimal with the windows closed. Elevator a plus, the room was secure. The refrigerator, coffee and tea maker and stove were great if you didn't want to eat out each day. The room was very clean and bed comfortable.

It would be good to have a safe in the room. The toilet at times would continue to run after being flushed. It would be helpful to have a rack to hang the bath towels on to allowing drying versus the hook present in the bathroom. It would be nice to have a brochures in the room for local activities like the tropical gardens, the cable car ride, the sugar museum etc. We left ours in the room for others coming to utilize.

Heel centraal gelegen aan een gezellig pleintje en een mooi, schoon appartement. We voelden ons gelijk welkom: er stonden verse bloemen en er lagen lekkere koekjes. Een topplek voor een paar dagen Funchal tijdens onze rondreis op Madeira.

Praça Amarela by Heart of Funchal - when they say heart of Funchal, they really mean the heart of Funchal. The accommodation was beautiful, bright, comfortable and cosy, with easy access to walks, shopping, restaurants and cafés. Highly recommended.

Greeted by our host , who came an met us in the rain and showed us to the door, also took our bags as we were early and allowed us to explore the city - great service

The apartment was in a great location in a pretty square with easy access to restaurants & shops and very close to the sea. The apartment was beautiful, we had everything we needed for our stay, and it was filled with natural light from the large shuttered windows. The owners were very quick to respond to requests, they ordered airport transfers and were extremely helpful. We used their recommended restaurants and car hire company. There were occasionally performers with amplified music in the square in the evenings, they didn't go on too late and the internal double glazed windows kept the noise to a minimum so it wasn't a problem for us. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

I absolutely LOVED the location! This property is located in what the locals call "yellow square," which also has one of the top restaurants (called KAMPO) right next door. The square itself has a quaint coffee shop and other restaurants to enjoy a beer in the square. It's right in the middle of the main downtown area, and only 1 block away from the water and the cathedral. The apartment is secure, bright, airy, exceptional clean and comfortable. The host was very communicative, helpful, and accommodating of our requests. I HIGHLY recommend staying here!

We loved everything about this property. The welcome chalk board with the beautiful flowers was a very nice touch. Thank you! The location is spot on. The views are spectacular, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed. The rain shower, towels, everything was absolutely wonderful. We will be coming back to stay. Thank you

Very helpful and responsive personnel when a couple of small housekeeping issues arose. Excellent location. The apartment was light, airy and very comfortable. My husband uses a walker so the lift was invaluable. Would definitely stay here again.

A nonslip shower mat or grab bar in the shower would have been very useful.

Não tinhamos pequeno-almoço incluido no contrato. Tinhamos todos os recursos para podermos cozinhar no apartamento. Gostamos muito da decoração e do espaço. As instalações e localização eram ótimas.

Extrem laut und hellhöriges Treppenhaus. Türen fallen sehr geräuschvoll ins Schloss. Die Wohnungstür schirmt kaum Geräusche vom Flur draußen ab… Es muss auch mal einen Wasserschaden gegeben haben denn es wuchs ein kleiner Lamellenpilz auf der Türschwelle zum Bad :-)

Perfect location right in the centre of Funchal. Plenty of great restaurants and bars a stone’s throw away. Apartment itself was also lovely, spacious and very comfortable. Liked having the little balcony to look out onto the square (standing room only, can’t put a chair on it).

Only small negative was that there was some very loud noise coming from neighbours on one of the nights at 3.30am.
