Ubicación inmejorable. En todo el meollo. Al principio me asustó un poco el lugar porque justo debajo de la ventana había dos restaurantes pero comprobamos que aún siendo fin de semana cerraban "pronto". Para nosotros no fue un problema. Compensaba con creces el hecho de estar en el mismísimo centro.

No es un problema del apartamento, porque es así en Coimbra, pero el aparcamiento es un dolor de cabeza. Si tienes suerte, se puede aparcar bastante cerca pero hay parkimetro. Si no, la opción es dejarlo en uno 24h y olvidarte de él.

La primera impresión fue estupenda, todo limpio, ordenado y un olor super rico, además de unos detalles de cortesía de bienvenida. Camas cómodas, todo tipo de menaje para pasar los días. Desde los días previos a la estancia, Rita estuvo pendiente y muy comunicativa. La ubicación es perfecta, en pleno centro pero sin ruidos, y eso que debajo hay un restaurante, que su misma gente era muy agradable. Gracias a que tienen aire acondicionado estuvimos super frescos porque en la calle estábamos a unos 35 grados. Si alguna vez volvemos a Coimbra, no dudaríamos en volver a hospedarnos ahí.

La ubicación es perfecta y la decoración con mucha personalidad, diferente. Además tenía de todo lo necesario para pasar unos días. Además, nos dejaron algunos detalles de bienvenida que agradecemos mucho.

Lovely apartment in an ideal location right in the heart of the old town!

La posizione è centralissima e la casa è molto grande e accogliente. Si trova subito accanto all'arco di Almedina e salendo per le vie cittadine si raggiungono la cattedrale e l'università, oltre che i punti centrali di Coimbra. È vicina alle fermate degli autobus che portano verso la stazione dei treni, comoda per chi viaggia con i mezzi pubblici.

The location was superb, the place cozy and clean, it also has washer/dryer, which is a plus when traveling.

My only question would be to add instructions about where to out the trash. We wanted to leave the place as we found it, but could not our the trash out, because we did not see where, and there were no instructions about where to dispose of it. As for the rest, it was a fantastic place to sray.

Everything, this a special property in a special little square with a fabulous restaurant. The apartment was so well appointed and in the historic center. It’s one of those places we will always remember.

Loved our stay here in Coimbra. The location was perfect. The apartment was very welcoming. We were on the second floor so we didn’t have the views like the other apartment, but we had 5 people not 4. The host is an expert in hospitality. Having a washer was a godsend. Has two full bathrooms. The bathrooms were great bc they were not pedestal sinks and we finally had room for our toiletries. AC was nice and cold. Everything was very clean. Yes there was some very minor mold on tiles, but being from highly humid Florida I understand. I loved the provided slippers, welcome wine and chips/crisps. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The location is amazing, easy to find, not hard to walk from public parking or transit. Coimbra was our favorite city we visited in Portugal

The apartment is well located and is spacious. We received a welcome gift and received ongoing communication from the hosts. It is highly recommended. The stay was enjoyable.

We were prevented from entering the premises, until KYC requirements were completed. This in and of itself is not an issue, however the KYC requirements and the manner in which it needed to be provided were only shared when we requested access. Consequently, we had to wait outside the premises in 35+ Celsius conditions.

Our stay at Casas do Arco was great. The apartment is located in the middle of the historic center, perfect for walking to the cathedral and university, with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and delightfully decorated. I would highly recommend it, although I would caution anyone with mobility issues. There are two flights of stairs to the door and the area around the apartment is accessible only over cobblestone. Otherwise, it is the perfect location to explore beautiful Coimbra.

The apartment is easy to find and well-located in the historic center of Coimbra; it is well-equipped and clean. Having two bathrooms and two bedrooms is a real bonus, even for just two people like my mother and me.

However, there are a few points that lower the rating: 1. The beds were too soft 2. There was a bad smell coming from the hallway bathroom 3. It was too noisy at times, sometimes as late as 2 or 3 AM

It is noisy in the evening, like other reviewers mentioned. I am a light sleeper, but was fine when I used ear plugs.

If you have a chance to book Casa do Arco, don’t wait — book it right now! It’s such a special experience! The suite is charming and comfortable, and filled with thoughtful touches like fresh slippers and welcome gifts. Our family really enjoyed the windows which opened to a quiet, ancient square, surrounded by lovely cafes and shops, just down the hill from the university and a few steps from the main shopping street in the historic town centre.

Ouve-se algum barulho à noite no quarto que dá para a rua, já que fica numa zona bastante turística, bastante movimentada. O quarto do lado interior é muito silencioso.

This is a large apartment, well-appointed, and in excellent condition. Lots of room, comfortable bed and furniture, complete kitchen, nice bathroom. It is located in the heart of the old section of the city within easy walking distance of the university, cathedral and other sites. Many great restaurants nearby.

This is advertised as a “hotel.” False! Hotels have staff. This is essentially an Airbnb. Let yourself in with door codes. Call the owner with questions or issues. It’s located in a pedestrian zone. We were provided info on parking options outside this zone, with “easy walking access.” Actually, the walk from the lot was an arduous uphill climb on narrow, cobbled streets. It would have been an exhausting trip towing our carry-on sized luggage. We took a taxi to get close. The driver had great difficulty finding a nearby drop off location. He had to ask for help twice. We were now a 5-minute walk from the building. We had to ask multiple times for help finding this “very discreet” location. Store owners within a few hundred yards had no idea where this place is. There’s a 10” x 5” sign next to the door. It was a stressful and frustrating experience finding this place. The listed wi-fi info was incorrect. After multiple attempts, the owner answered her phone. I ended up in a combative phone conversation in which the owner would not let me get a word in edgewise. The owner seems to have a massive chip on her shoulder when dealing with guests. Very unpleasant start to our stay. I would recommend she provide an address nearby for taxi drivers.

The apartment has a good layout with comfy beds. The hosts left us a nice bottle of wine too.

The apartment is in a square that gets a lot of foot traffic day and night. People talked loudly and there was music playing. There is a restaurant below that was open until 1:00 am on Friday night playing loud music. Also, as others indicated, the kitchen isn't well equipped for preparing or eating food.

Excelente hospedagem! Muito confortável e com uma ótima localização. Os anfitriões foram muito profissionais e solícitos. Certamente nossa melhor hospedagem em nossa viagem a Portugal.

L'emplacement est idéal dans le quartier historique, donnant sur une place très calme, juste à côté du centre d'art contemporain. L'appartement est assez spacieux, nous étions 5 et chacun avait son intimité, quasiment 3 chambres ( le salon peut faire office de chambre) et deux salles de bain avec toilettes. La décoration est très chaleureuse, on a l'impression d'être "à la maison". Nous avons l'agréable surprise d'avoir une bouteille de vin très bon et un petit paquet de chips. Et des chaussons !

L'équipement pour la cuisine est assez sommaire pour des gens qui voudraient cuisiner, il y avait du café mais pas de filtres (il y en a maintenant parce que nous en avons laissés), seulement quatre sachets de thé/tisane. Dans la chambre sui a une salle de bain, il n'y a pas d'armoire ni d'endroit où accrocher ni ranger les vêtements. L'accès avec les bagages est un peu difficile car on doit se garer à l'extérieur du centre historique puis pour notre appartement, monter 3 étages sans ascenseur.

Tudo. Absolutamente tudo. Parece que viajamos no tempo e chegamos a um beco em muitos anos atrás. O apartamento é outra viagem: tudo tem carinho. Desde o compasso de madeira na estante do quarto aos enfeitinhos de natal nas mesinhas pela escada. Parece que chegamos na casa de uma avô dos sonhos, sabe? Tudo fofinho e cheio de lembrança. Os quartos são super aconchegantes, lençóis macios, toalhas perfumadas, colchões gostosos. Louças e acessórios de cozinha nota 10. Os banheiros são ótimos e os aquecedores funcionam super bem. Nos receberam com vinho e chocolate. A localização é nota mil! Bemmmm central. O uber nos enrolou bastante e nos deixou na parte de cima. Mas é só pedir para ser deixado na Catedral (checar as coordenadas com os proprietários) e vocé anda 2 minutos a pé.

Não poder ficar mais tempo.

Location was perfect. few books provided for living, and map to get around. Free chips and wine.

Water drainage at the shower was really poor. No elevator so we had hard time moving our baggages.

Clean, cozy and great location. The apartment size and having two bathrooms is very helpful for families. They provided a bottle of wine and chips, and slippers as welcome treats.

One of the rooms was very noisy. My teenagers could not sleep because of it, there were people screaming and loud music after 2am. We had to move the mattress to the master bedroom so they could get some rest. Getting to the apartment with luggage is very hard, the parking options are far away and there are too many stairs to get to the apartment. The apartment has a nice kitchen but there were no cutlery, not even a spoon.

Loved the location and easy access to all of Coimbra. The apartment was clean and cozy, beautifully decorated, had everything we needed, at our fingertips. We loved every part of our stay!

Bruit dans la rue (concert et blind test assez bruyants le vendredi et samedi soir), et qqes détails (ex: eau qui s'évacue très lentement dans la douche... ) sinon tout était conforme au descriptif et nous avons bcp apprécié!

The apartment was in a great location for restaurants, shops and University.The apartment was large, very comfortable and had everything you would need for a long stay including a washing machine/dryer. The management was also exceptional. The free bottle of wine and chips were a nice touch. Highly recommend!

There is a wine bar nearby that you may here people having fun at night if you are an early bird to bed. No real complaints.

Very weak WiFi and electricity cuts out if too many appliances work. We didn’t mind but it’s about 10 minutes uphill and 3 flights of steps with the suitcases due to the beautiful medieval architecture.

The apartment t was very well thought out, was tastefully decorated, very clean, and with all needed facilities.

Apartamento ótimo, exatamente como nas fotos. Com dois quartos e dois banheiros, além de uma sala e uma cozinha espaçosa, é muito confortável para quatro pessoas. A cozinha é bem equipada, além de ter lavadora de roupas, o que ajuda muito em estadias mais longas. Localização excelente, no Arco de Almedina, na frente de um restaurante com música ao vivo muito boa de quarta a domingo. Comunicação muito fácil com a anfitriã.

Gostamos de tudo.

great stay! the apartment was clean and comfortable, had all the necessary amenities and great style and comfort. the location is perfect and we showed up just when a street musician started his performance at the piazza below. was a great experience and would love to visit again!

El piso está en una zona céntrica, justo en frente del arco más típico, donde todo el mundo se caca fotos, por lo que la ubicación es excelente. Desde aquí, se podía llegar fácilmente a todas los zonas turísticas de la ciudad andando y en poco tiempo. Por la noche cantantes independientes, amenizan la noche en el bar de la calle. Las camas, eran muy cómodas, 2 baños independientes con su calentador individual cada uno. L cocina muy bien equipada y con todo tipo de accesorios. Es de agradecer el aperitivo que nos dejó el anfitrión. La decoración estaba muy bien.

Lo único reseñable, era el acceso sin ascensor, por lo demás, todo muy bien.

El apartamento está muy bien situado en una plaza bonita con vistas a la Torre de Almedina. Está justo en el centro de la ciudad, se llega andando a todos los lugares típicos de visita. La zona tiene mucho ambiente por el día pero es silenciosa a la hora de dormir. El apartamento tiene todo lo necesario para estar a gusto y está limpio. El trato con los propietarios fue muy bueno y el acceso fácil.
