Mini Apartment Sakrisøy

Location, cleaness, facilities, cosiness, contact with an owner

It was hard to find the cabin in the night

Traditional cottage with basic amenities. The bed and pillows were comfortable, with excellent bed linen. Situated in a very lovely area near the village of Hamnøy.

There was an unpleasant smell in the house, which featured a mix of old and newer furniture and a sofa with worn-out cushions. Unfortunately, the property photos are outdated; there is a small house under construction nearby that blocks the view. It is simply not right to pay for one thing and get something else—not to mention that the price is quite high.

We really liked the small and cozy apartment and the location that made it a perfect hub for different planned hikes in the neighboring areas.

Negativt!

The room is in a very good location with a beautiful view from one of the windows. The decoration is also very lovely. It also includes a private parking space.

The house has windows all around and because of its location, there are hordes of tourists outside taking photos of it throughout the day and until late at night. For example, the small window on the front door is made of glass and is not covered in any way so a tourist could very easily take a sneak peek inside. Keeping the blinds down helps a little (on the windows that have them), but then you lose the whole experience.

The beds super comfortable. Coffee machine serves coffee anytime. It’s mini but everything you need is just perfect.

There are people shot photos from early morning till evening just outside the window.

Too many annoying passers by taking pictures of the house

Tolle Lage.

Struttura caratteristica, ben curata e molto accogliente. Cucina ben fornita, dotata di bollitore, macchinetta caffè nespresso e montalatte. Vista spettacolare.

Would have been nice to have dark curtains for midnight sun.

Kitchen, bathroom, view, location, everthing is perfect. I strongly recommend this apartment to your good memory and picture in your mind

The view is exceptional. Location is perfect in terms of going to various parts of Lofoten even though we took public transport. Staff is responsive and helpful. We were able to see Northern Lights just stepping outside the property. Also, Anita’s Seafood Bar at arm’s length is a must try.

Everything it was truly one of a kind

Nothing

Very cozy apartment, has everything you need! Able to see Northern Lights!

Not a lot of room to put your shoes and enter into the accommodation, especially if you have muddy shoes! The windows were tricky to figure out how to keep open without them moving, once you find the trick it is fine! Laundry area was in another section on an adjacent island about 4 minute walk or 1 minute drive away.

The location was superb, really easy to find and park the car but also such amazing views just outside the window!

Since there are quite a few tourists, it would be great to add blinds/opaque window stickers to all windows as the kitchen window and entrance door window didn’t have those and many tourists could look in!

Beautiful apartment in a stunning house in the perfect location. We loved our three night stay. A real home from home in a gorgeous setting. The shop cafe & restaurant behind the house are amazing! Lofoten islands are spectacular - we will be back and wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this house again.

Amazing view Great location close to Reine Spacious cabin

You’re sleeping in the iconic Lofoten House. Everyone wants to have the picture of the house with the mountain behind. The little apartment was really charming and clean.

We would have liked to have curtains in the kitchen and the front door. People could see us inside. A little more of kitchen ustensiles would be perfect (pan per exemple).

Very charming apartment at a beautiful Location

The location is fantastic, easy reserved parking space, all mod cons offered in a small rorbu which doesn’t feel small downstairs with the table and chairs and sofa.

I really liked this property. It’s a place to relax and meditate. The reason I didn’t give a 10 was the cramped double bed upstairs. It is not small, but suffers from the slanted ceiling.

Warm, cosy, nicely furnished. Scenery.

Proximity to camper van parking and people walking past the property.

Simply beautiful.

The location was incredible and the apartment is well stocked and very comfortable. Check in was easy and our hosts were extremely communicative when we had a small issue. We’ll be back!

The apartment is cozy and perfectly located.

The small apartment is under one roof with a larger apartment. If the neighbours are inconsiderate types, it will be difficult to sleep. One night they left the ventilation in their bathroom on. The exhaust is right next to the bedroom of the small apartment. I could not sleep that night. The host was quick to respond to my phone call but could not do anything until the next day. No compensation was offered for the lost night. The second night the people next door put shoes in their dryer at around midnight, which thumped the whole building. I walked over there myself and asked them to turn it off, which they did. A good nights sleep is not guaranteed in this place. Caveat Emptor!
