Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Die Lage direkt am Meer mit Blick auf die gegenüber liegende Insel ist grandios. Die ganze Wohnung (ausser Badezimmer) ist sehr liebevoll und authentisch eingerichtet. Wohn-Essbereich und Küche verfügen über eine gute Ausstattung.
Das Badezimmer ist für vier Personen sehr klein und für den Preis zu einfach und billig eingerichtet. Die beiden Schlafzimmer sind ebenfalls sehr klein mit einem zu schmalen Doppelbett. Es gab keine Möglichkeit irgendwo Kleider zu deponieren. Wir mussten unsere vier grossen Koffer im Eingangsbereich und Wohnzimmer auslegen. Da wird viel Geld mit dem Reine-Hype gemacht. Es gibt auf den Lofoten Häuser mit ähnlicher Lage und Aussicht, die viel komfortabler und grosszügiger ausgestattet sind und weniger kosten.

The host has amazing taste—the entire space is so cozy, beautiful, and thoughtfully designed that it truly feels like a home away from home. And the view outside is absolutely breathtaking! This was easily one of the highlights of our stay in Reine. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Reine, this is hands down the best choice. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

The view of the reinefjord is amazing, the house details are so elegant and everything is really well thought through. Comme nous sommes arrivés tard et fatigués, on n'a cru que le panneau "Bienvenue au Rétro Rostad Rorbruer faisait référence aux premiers bâtiments sur la gauche et nous sommes montés dans le parking supérieur à gauche. Pourtant, le plan fourni indiquait qu'il suffisait de poursuive la route jusqu'au bout en cul de sac. Dommage car cela provoqua une petite dispute avec ma partenaire. Voyez ce que vous pouvez faire pour éviter cette confusion.

Il costo è alto, ma credo che alloggiare in un posto così faccia parte dell’esperienza del viaggio, e almeno per qualche notte sia da fare! La zona è molto tranquilla, si può uscire a fare una passeggiata anche la sera. Personale disponibile, spazi puliti e in casa c’è tutto ciò che serve. Ci tornerei sicuramente!

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026La posizione sull'isola di Olenilsøya era da sogno, con un meraviglioso panorama. Personalizzabile abbiamo pernottato nella casetta rossa n.6, la più piccola per sole due persone. Lo spazio era ben studiato ed il letto a castello era comunque comodo. Il tavolo da pranzo posizionato di fronte alla finestra offre cene con vista spettacolare. La casetta era in prima linea sul mare verde acqua. Al nostro arrivo ci ha accolto la casa ben riscaldata con una rilassante musica jazz.
Un pò inusuale la richiesta di togliere le lenzuola dal letto prima del check-out (un pò scomodo avendo un letto a castello). Comunque nulla di infattibile.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Beautifully restored rorbuer in a peaceful island. The views were stunning! I was so happy to stay here vs closer to Reine - it was the perfect base when arriving to Lofoten.
As you can imagine, Lofoten is very expensive. Do I think the price + value were aligned, probably not - but Im still happy I got to experience it. On a another note, asking the customers to strip the bed linen when you’re paying over £350 a night is IMO a bit cheeky.

La salle de bain, vieillotte, mauvaise odeur, vieille cabine de douche minuscule, vieux lino, aucun rangement pour poser ses affaires. Pas de place pour ranger ses vêtements. Certains ustensiles de cuisine auraient pu être plus propres. Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de réception.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Après beaucoup de recherche la maison numéro 10 avec mezzanine répond à toutes mes attentes surtout pour sa terrasse privée avec vue sur l eau et les pics au dessus de Reine sans vis à vis ce qui est difficile à trouver dans les Rorbuer L intérieur est très bien agencé et bien décoré Cuisine au top avec micro-ondes et lave-vaisselle Banquette avec méridienne Stores qui ferment la totalité de la grande baie vitrée qui éclaire la maison Salle de bain moderne digne d un 4 étoiles Rorbuer idéal pour voyageur solo Un magasin COOPS est à 5 mn en voiture et | arrêt des bus a 5mn à pieds

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026We loved everything about our stay at Rostad Retro Rorbuer! The view from our room was incredible, and we enjoyed spending time soaking in those views on the attached balcony. The rorbuer was not only beautiful but very comfortable, with everything we needed to enjoy a two-night stay. Little touches like the Nespresso machine with complimentary capsules made our stay even more special. Our only regret was not spending more nights there - highly recommend, 10/10!

I wish they had blackout curtains during the midnight sun.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut! Abgesehen von vielleicht etwas mehr Platz fehlt es an nichts. Aber für 4 Personen im Urlaub, die sich nicht aus dem Weg gehen wollen, ist auch der Platz völlig ausreichend! Besonders positiv zu erwähnen, ist die Liebe zum Detail in der Ausstattung. Ebenso die Aussicht, die zentrale Lage, die Ruhe und die freundlichen Hinweise der Gastgeber.
Gar nichts.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026Apartment was spotless, nice kitchen for cooking a few meals. Hosts were extremely helpful and responsive over text. The sauna down the street is operated by another hotel but rentable for two hours and beautiful (albeit a bit expensive). Great location for exploring Reine, A, many villages and food options nearby.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026This was our second stay here, and once again it exceeded our expectations. This time we stayed in a different rorbu, but it was just as beautiful. The view from the window is simply breathtaking and impossible to replace, and the location is absolutely perfect. What makes this place truly special, though, is the wonderful owner. Communication was excellent before our arrival, throughout our stay, and whenever we needed anything. Her kindness and hospitality make you feel genuinely welcome. This is one of those places that makes you want to come back again and again. We will definitely be returning!
