Exceptional welcome and generosity of Bodhi and his family! Bodhi is very knowledgeable of the area and took us snorkling, showed turtle beach, guided us through his beautiful garden and his mom prepared the best breakfast we could imagine. Highly recommend!

Из огромного числа отзывов не нашли ни одного плохого. Решили остановиться на этом отеле и ничуть не пожалели. Нас встретила чудесная семья Боди. Было ощущение, что мы приехали к ним в гости. Нас быстро разместили в чистые и уютные номера. Горячая вода была всегда. Нам показали кухню, где можно всегда приготовить себе еду. Отдельно хотим рассказать об ухоженном дворе. Это большая территория с беседкой, много деревьев, цветов и огромное пространство, где можно играть, загорать или работать. В отзывах пишут о близко расположенной железной дороге. Мы немного побаивались этого, но за целый день так уставали, что не слышали никакого поезда ночью. Отдельно хочется отметить Боди, сына хозяйки. Это правда удивительный человек. Он очень много времени уделил нашей семье: показал нам снорклинг, отвез нас в Галле, показал буддийский храм. Каждый день он навещал нас и спрашивал что нам нужно. Детей все время угощал сладостями. Несомненным плюсом этого отеля является близость к океану и центральной улице,с магазинами, торговыми лавками и ресторанами. И все это в трех минутах ходьбы. Желаем семье Боди успехов и процветания! Мы очень не хотели уезжать из этого отеля, дети даже расплакались!

Niesamowita gościnność. Świetna lokalizacja, bardzo blisko do turtle beach i rafy koralowej. Bodhi zabrał nas na snorkeling po rafie pośród pięknych ryb i żółwi za free. Idealne zakończenie touru po Sri Lance.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Bodhi und seiner Familie war einfach perfekt. Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht dort, durften das Zimmer am Abreisetag aber so lange nutzen, wie wir wollten, bevor es zum Flughafen ging – sehr entspannt! Die Lage ist top: nur ein kurzer Spaziergang zum Strand und zu den Restaurants. Das Zimmer ist schlicht, aber optimal eingerichtet und absolut komfortabel. Das Frühstück nach dem Schnorcheln war köstlich – frisches Obst, Omelette und sehr leckeres Brot. Das Beste ist aber die außergewöhnliche Freundlichkeit von Bodhi. Wir hatten schon viele Hosts, aber er ist mit Abstand der herzlichste und aufmerksamste, was sogar unser Taxifahrer bestätigte. Ein Highlight war das gemeinsame Schnorcheln mit Bodhi (kostenlos!), bei dem wir eine unglaubliche Vielfalt an Fischen sahen – mit etwas Glück sogar Schildkröten und Riffhaie direkt am Riff. Am Strand selbst kann man die Schildkröten ebenfalls beobachten und teilweise sogar mit ihnen schwimmen. Alles in allem ein absolut überragender Aufenthalt – wir wären gern länger geblieben und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

在Bodhi家居住的3天是我整个斯里兰卡之行最精彩的三天。入住的第一天Bodhi母亲就热情地接待了我并为我准备了柠檬汁。后来Bodhi告诉我这和平时喝的柠檬并不一样，同时还约好了第二天去浮潜的时间。每早起来后Bodhi都会为我准备一壶咖啡或者红茶，一边喝茶我们一边聊各种有趣的事，聊斯里兰卡的生活，Bodhi也很健谈，每次我们都能找到许多新话题聊。浮潜很难忘，Bodhi带着我游了整整一个多小时，看到了许多不同颜色不同种类的鱼，后面带我去喂海龟和看鲨鱼，还帮我拍了许多喂鲨鱼的照片。Bodhi家的花园巨大，有各种各样的植物和动物，甚至还有萤火虫和猫头鹰。他家的狗也特别温顺，每次我一进门就会迎过来。感谢Bodhi和家人3天热情的招待，让我有了回家的感觉。下次来斯里兰卡一定还要来Bodhi家。

L'habitació és perfecte, no falta de res. És gran, ben equipada, l'aire condicionat funciona molt bé, l'aigua calenta també. El llit i els coixins son molt còmodes. Si vens aqui descansaras d'allò més bé per bon preu, és una bona elecció. El jardí que envolta la casa està ple de màgia i molt nen cuidat, a les fotografies no s'aprecia lo bonica i impressionant que arriba a ser, un jardí ple de vida. La ubicació és perfecte, prop de la platja i d'uns quants bons restaurants. Però el millor de l'estada és el seu amfitrió, Bodhi, i la seva família. Estan plenament disposats a fer que la teva estada sigui perfecte. T'ajuden amb tot el que poden, son molt servicials, qualsevol detall ells el tenen en compte perquè estiguis visquen plenament les vacances. Fins i tot el Bodhi t'acompanya a veure les tortugues i a fer snorkel amb ell, és tot un expert!! Et fa impregnar del seu amor per la fauna marina. Tot això ho fa de manera gratuïta, perquè ho gaudeix. També et deixa material per l'snorkel si el necessites. De les millor estades que he fet a Sri Lanka. Gràcies Bodhi.

房东夫妇和蔼可亲，一进门就为我们准备了超级好喝的柠檬茶。还提前帮我们的房间开了空调，教我们怎么锁门，吩咐晚上开驱蚊器，反正细节做得十分到位，毛巾摆放整齐，冲凉房的水压特别棒！房东还免费借厨房给我们用。实不相瞒，我是冲着房东儿子才入住这家宝藏民宿，哈哈哈😂因为他可以免费带我们去浮潜，告诉我们要注意什么，房东儿子Bondi十分热情和高大帅气，知道我们从中国远道而来，他的手关节受伤了还坚持带我们去浮潜🤿，特别感动！第一天因为看不到海龟，所以又带我们去看了鲨鱼，还帮我们给了小费喂鲨鱼的老爷爷。第二天很早就带我们去浮潜，我们看到了珊瑚和很多鱼群，Bondi很有耐心、很专业，浮潜完还请我们的孩子喝饮料，他们家虽然在火车铁轨旁边，但那晚是我睡得最舒服的一晚。在他家住真的玩得很开心，所以结账时特别多给他妈妈几十美金，以示感谢，因为Bondi免费带我们玩了很多东西，还帮我们给小费本地人，出钱帮我们租救生衣等等，在这里玩两天绝对不够，我下次要直接来Bondi家住一个星期！

Bodhi and his family were very friendly and helpful in everything. Bodhi was very enthusiastic to bring us to experience snorkeling, turtle feeding, train railway walking and showed us many plants, insects and animals in his garden. We had so much fun at hikkaduwa due to Bodhi and his family’s help. Will definitely visit his guesthouse again.

Amazing experience staying here. Great atmosphere — gardens are so peaceful, an oasis in the middle of Hikkaduwa. 🙌 Manager made this into a truly memorable stay - hoping to return one day!

Garden was lovely, bed comfortable,bathroom very clean and hot water hot. Had coathangers and bed light. Bed was comfortable. Bodhi the son was very helpful. Picked me up at theTrain station and took me snorkling and made sure i was safe in the water. The whole atmosphere was very relaxed Cute dog, a welcoming fruit drink on arrival. Very well situated a short walk to the beach, and markets and goid eating places

Trains were quite close but after a day or so i didnt notice them. Sheets mand towels or room was not cleaned in the 5 night stay but then i didnt ask. Would have been nice too have a top sheet. Not used to not having one Air con was very cold on the 5th night i got the hang of it at 27 degrees.

Amazing experience. Badhi has unique personality. Very caring and welcoming person, always ready to help. Discovered for us snorkeling place in Hikkaduwa. Apartments are good and equipped with everything you need for nice vacation. Kitchen is good and we used it for cooking. Location is quite close to snorkeling beach (Hikkaduwa beach) and to everything you need for eating, buying, enjoying. Great experience! Definitely, we want to come back! Thank you, Badhi!

I really had a great time in this guesthouse. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Bodhi explained me all the plants in the very nice garden and took me two times for snorkeling. It was an unforgettable experience. I really can recommend this place.

Wow, well this was more than just a stay, this was an experience! Bodhi and his family were so welcoming and went out of there way to make this stay the best I've had in Sri Lanka after 3 weeks. The garden is amazing and Bodhi showed us fireflies at night and also some resident owls in the bamboos. The breakfast was amazing with much of the fruits provided grown in the garden. To top off the stay was Bodhi's snorkeling tour which he brought all guests on, free of charge. This was excellent and Bodhi made sure everyone was comfortable in the water and ensured we saw all the amazing fish and a few turtles. The location is excellent, only less than 10 minutes to town centre which has numerous restaurants.

This place was amazing! Hikkaduwa was my favourite spot in Sri Lanka. I booked the apartment as I wanted a fridge to store some water and fruits ( if you have travelled around in Sri Lanka you will know most places do not offer fridges). The owners are lovely and I understand why everyone gave them such a high rating! The place is in a great location - just 2-3 min away from the turtle beach and close to the Main Street with the restaurants. The property has high ceilings and I love such places as you feel there is so much space in it. The bed was comfy and I had AC in my room! The kitchen had from french press to even a blender so essentially all you may need for your stay. There is hot water in the shower and a line to put your wet clothes on the balcony to dry. The room also had a lovely chair which was great if you want to just hold lay in it and rest..and read a book. I can even myself purchasing such chair one day in the future. The garden in this place is amazing! On my first day I got to see some monkeys, and also saw some frogs and owls. The hosts were very kind to me. They offered me cold drink when I arrived and on other occasions that I saw them. The owner also does take guests snorkelling, weather permitting, which was so kind of him! They even drove me to the train station when I was leaving! I hope to be back one day again!

Bodhi and his family are amazing hosts! The garden is beautiful and overall such a pretty guesthouse. Relaxing in hammock and watching the beautiful garden is so much fun. Everything was amazing! The hosts are such a lovely well mannered and welcoming family. It is such a joy to stay in their guesthouse in the most beautiful garden in the middle of Hikkaduwa. We were welcomed by their son, Bodhi. What a delight, he is so calm and sensible. As we already read in the comments he offers to do a completely free of charge snorkel tour with the guests! It was amazing. We went for a sunset snorkel and he brought us to see a green sea turtle and a hawksbill(!). The next morning we went in a calmer ocean and he showed us all the colourful fishes. I can’t thank Bodhi and his family enough for a gorgeous time in Hikkaduwa.

Great big room with comfortable bed and nice clean bathroom. We had a great time with Bohdi and his family over 3 nights here, he took us snorkelling a couple of times and we saw a heap of turtles and he even dropped us to the doctor and also the train station when we were leaving. There was always a smile on his face and a fresh cold juice on the really hot days. We also had access to a basic kitchen for boiled water or to store something in a fridge.

Warm and charming greeting from Bohdie and his mum. The place is a gem, set amongst a beautiful garden. It is peaceful and serene offering a place to chill and relax. The hammock outside the room is a neat touch giving you an opportunity to drift away as you swing back and forth.

Four Seasons guesthouse is the quintessence of Sri Lanka: warm hospitality and breathtaking natural beauty. The owners treated us like relatives. The owner’s son, Bodhi, took us for free snorkeling and showed us the best places for watching fishes and corals. Within a 5-minute walk, there are two beaches. On the first beach, you can watch huge turtles. Additionally, little hatching turtles are released into the ocean every day at 6 pm. The second beach is amazing for snorkeling, where you can observe octopuses, tridacnas, moray eels, reef sharks, and a variety of fish species near the shore. The room may appear ascetic, but it is very comfortable, super clean, and tidy. We had hot water, a kettle, a fridge, and even a fumigator in the room. The bed was very comfortable. There is a great garden around the rooms where banana trees, cinnamon, black pepper, pineapples, coconuts, and orchids grow. Additionally, you can spot a lot of birds, lizards, and butterflies here. Our stay coincided with the Sinhalese New Year, and we were treated to traditional cakes. We truly appreciate this attitude. I highly recommend Four Seasons Guesthouse!

Well, I have been coming here since 1980 and forsure I will back for more ;-) Its what you can call a holiday home !! These people are just super ;-)

Since the garden is very lush and green, its also "popular" by the mosquito community but with right steps and protection is not a big deal.

I totally recommend this accommodation, spacious and comfortable room, the garden is beautiful and very well cared for. It is one minute from the main street and the beach, but without a doubt the best thing was the host family, they made us feel really at home. The most important thing is the human quality of this family who will help you with anything you need. I have been traveling for half my life and I have found great hosts on many of my trips, but none like Bodhi...he is a great person and I can say that I have a FRIEND in Sri Lanka... If you travel to Hikkaduwa stay at the FOUR SEASONS you will surely not regret it

We had the most amazing stay at 4 Seasons guesthouse. Lovely plentiful breakfasts. Great hosts & their son Bodhi went above & beyond to make our 2 day stay in Hikkaduwa so Special. He took us snorkelling with turtles, we went to the Tsunami museum & he even took us to the train station & made sure we were safe on the train for our trip to Bentota. This was all free of charge such a kind caring person. Would highly recommend staying at 4 Seasons guest house. We would definitely stay again when we next visit Hikkaduwa.

The house, gardens and accommodation are a truly special find amongst the chaos of Sri Lanka’s streets! The house is very close to everything and we felt very safe walking around! Bohdi and his family are very special, they made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much. They showed us all the amazing plants and animals in the garden and made our daughter feel special. The property is extremely beautiful with well maintained rooms, garden and lawn. The best part about the stay are the hosts, they are very friendly and helpful. Mr. Bodhi takes extra special care of his guests and makes sure that the stay is unforgettable. The property is very conveniently located near the beach, restaurants and shopping area. We had the best time in Unawatuna, thanks to Mr. Bodhi and family.

I stayed in a room in the older, single-story guesthouse portion. There are newer rooms in the main house for a slightly higher price. The older rooms are basic but have everything you need, including a small fridge, A/C, small porch and a place to dry clothes - very appropriate for the price. The garden is a miniature Eden - fruit trees everywhere, tons of birdlife including a pair of resident miniature owls, peacocks, small green parrots; and countless fireflies at night. Bodhi, the owners' son, spent a lot of time with me showing me the garden, and even took me snorkeling at the Hikkaduwa reef twice during the 2 days I stayed, for no extra fee. He doesn't always have time to do this, but I was lucky. You can ask him before you arrive whether he'll have time to take you. This is a place where people return to year after year, for months at a time. In the evenings you can join the conversation on the main porch, but there's no pressure to do so. In case it's a deal-breaker for you, please note that the property is adjacent to the railroad. I'm a sensitive sleeper and I was worried about this, but it didn't turn out to be a problem at all. The passing trains are definitely audible, but the entire experience of staying here was so positive that the train sounds simply didn't bother me. One other thing is that the mosquitos love fresh blood, so come prepared with repellent. My only regret about my stay was not spending more time photographing birds in the garden. Thanks so much to Bodhi and parents for the wonderful experience.

This is the best guesthouse I have ever stayed at. Bodhi and his family are so kind and made me feel so welcome. I was traveling alone at first and then ended up bringing my sister here too. Bodhi took me snorkelling (for free!!) and we swam with sooo many turtles he was a pro at finding them. I felt so comfortable and safe while here (even as a solo female traveller) it was really like a home away from home. Room was clean, great aircon and the surrounding gardens were beautiful you could see so many fireflies at night it was amazing. This ended up being our favourite place of the whole trip. Everything was perfect. Very nice and willing people with cute dog. Bodhi took us snorkeling to show us the beauty of the ocean. A wonderful peaceful garden with excellent home-grown fruit. Beautiful place, close to the train, but it didn't matter. Close to the beach. Many amazing fireflies at night, but there are mosquitoes too - you must have repellent. Room was cozy, the bed was very comfortable.

Amazing host - he took us to snorkeling for free. But that was whole experience! Not just giving us masks. I am in Sri Lanka for some time now but stay in 4 Seasons was my best day in the country. Beautiful garden. Room with garden view. Good AC. Good location close to beach, town and all you need.

The gardens are lovely- by day filled with chirping birds, and by night flitting fireflies and the sound of owls. The snorkelling trips offered by Bodie are amazing- they were much appreciated and enjoyed. The family goes out of their way to make you welcome and to make sure you are comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful and served with homemade jam. They provided me with a kettle so i could have water for tea and drinking. I carry a water bottle and thermos so i do not use plastic so much appreciated.

Really loved my stay here. Meant to stay a few days and ended up much longer. Serene setting in a BEAUTIFUL garden less than 5 mins to the beach. Room was spacious and clean. Bodhi and his family were super hospitable. Lassi the dog too. RECOMMEND!!

While searching accommodation I was considering this apartment. After reading reviews we chose it and it was the best stay in our 3 weeks trip. The host Bodhi took us for a snorkeling even we came one for 1 night. The best host ever. We had chance to see and swim with turtle. All family was very pleasant and helpful. The place was basic, but very clean and nice. We felt very comfortable. It is close to railway, but it was not disturbing. Breakfast was continental and very tasty. Bodhi even took us by car to the railway station. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Hikkaduwa, look no further. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here from start to finish. Beautiful house within the most lovely, well-kept garden. Family welcomed us into their home so warmly and nicely and made us feel so welcome. Bodhi, especially, we are so grateful for. He was only a message away if we needed anything, and he took us on the most incredible snorkelling trip to see and feed some turtles at no extra charge- this is one of our favourite memories of our whole Sri Lankan trip that we will treasure forever. Location perfect close to beach. Lovely clean rooms, wifi great, air conditiong great. Beautiful gardens full of sri lankan plants that Bodhi taught us about. Just the perfect place to end our trip- can't recommend enough.

Bodhi and his family are spectaculary welcoming. Bodhi took us twice on a snorkeling trips to the reef and is probably the friendliest person we met in Sri Lanka. Additionally, they offer a good WiFi, have a lovely garden and a hammock in front of the rooms

I booked somewhere else in Hikkaduwa originally, but after reading the reviews about how lovely the hosts were here, I changed my booking to the 4 Seasons. I'm so glad I did! The rooms are basic, nice and clean, but all the hosts, particularly Bodhi, were amazing. Bodhi was kind enough to take me snorkelling twice during my 6 night stay which was incredible and if you need absolutely anything, they are there offering help. They really helped make my last week in Sri Lanka enjoyable and worry free. Great location and their garden is beautiful. I can't thank you guys enough.

On a three week trip, 4 Seasons was the last guesthouse on my journey and it was the best. Bodhi and his parents were incredibly friendly and kind. It has an wonderful garden with amazing flowers. Bodhi usually goes snorkeling with his guests but as the sea was kind of rough he showed me the garden and explained all the flowers and fruit trees. I absolutely loved my stay there! The place was the main reason which made Hikkaduwa so special to me!

Simple but has everything you need. Brilliant location and beautiful gardens. Bodhi is a wonderful host who is also a snorkelling enthusiast.

We loved the family and place so much, that we stayed longer than planned. they are really warm-hearted, friendly, open-minded and helped us whenever we needed it. We got welcomed with a coconut drink and a big smile. Bodhi takes you to the hot spots in the area and explains everything in a kindly and passionate way. The garden is a quiet, beautiful place on earth and you can relax in the hangmat if you want to or just walk a few metres to reach the beach. The rooms are clean and basic ,but you’ve got everything you needed, including towels and AC. Breakfast can be served if you ask them and we can say: one of the best omelettes in Sri Lanka :) We would recommend that guesthouse to everyone and if we ever coming back - that’s the best in Hikkaduwa.

Bodhi and family were very helpful and friendly. Aunty provided us very tasty breakfast and welcome drink. Bodhi ask us to go for snorkeling. He is very proffesional and friendly. Feels own family. Room , washroom, garden are very clean. There is a beautiful garden. Near to the beach. Few minutes.
