Reviewed Mar 19, 2026We changed 3 locations in lapland and i can definitely say this was the best one we regret not taking it for our whole stay, very clean (like monica clean) walking distance to everything great location, the house has everything needed, and host is very friendly, responsive and helpful he even kept helping us after we checkout we kept asking him questions about lapland and he was very kind and kept answering us and giving us tips! Would totally recommend this place and will definitely book it again! Big Big thanks fredric!

Su excelente ubicación te permite organizar toda tu visita a la ciudad y las distintas actividades de manera muy cómoda. Además el dueño del alojamiento estuvo disponible durante todo el viaje para la resolución de cualquier duda. Sin duda, el apartamento perfecto para una visita al corazón de Laponia.

Reviewed Jan 27, 2026Absolutely stunning apartment, it has everything you need; it’s like a home from home. Decor was 10/10, beds was very comfy! More than enough sockets in the property. A very warm property, which is perfect for when you’ve had a fun filled day out in -17. The host 10/10; I had messaged them after I booked to let them know my flight times so they had an approx eta, by the time we had landed I had messages from host with very clear instructions on how to access the apartment block & how to access our key. Accommodation was super easy to find, was in the perfect location for city centre and transport links. When booking I knew it was in the centre but didn’t realise how close which was perfect for me as I was travelling as a lone parent with 2 young children. Lordi’s square was a couple min walk, loads of shops, supermarkets and eateries a stones throw away. Naava cafe is opposite the property as well as the Santa Claus bus stop for SCV! Airport was 13 min drive. The ‘official Santas McDonald was a 20 min walk (with a very tired 3 yo in tow) was 5 min in a bolt taxi that we used. LUGGAGE: I recommend the ‘innside luggage storage’ booked via get your guide, it’s in the same courtyard as the apartment block, cost £13 to store all our luggage in a secure unit until our flight which was 11:20pm.
There was nothing to dislike.

The apartment had everything we needed. The bus to the Santa Claus Village was across the apartment. The restaurants were just behind the apartment.

Reviewed Jan 18, 2026We really enjoyed our time in this apartment. Contact with owner very good and smooth. Well arranged apartment . The bus stop is in the opposite road when you left apartment. Bus drive straight to airport, Santa village and Santa Park. Around 15 -20 min walk to arktikum. Shops are very close also restaurants. Apartment were very clean and cosy. All what we need for making breakfast was in there. If I would back to Lapland I choose again this place.

Reviewed Jan 15, 2026The apartment was modern, very clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything we needed was provided. Great location, close to the city centre and attractions. Check-in was easy and the host (Fredric) was very responsive. He even informed us when the Northern Lights appeared and sent us the exact location where we could see them, which was such a lovely and thoughtful gesture! It felt cozy and welcoming after cold days outside. Highly recommended!

The location is amazing, right in the city centre, walking distance from all restaurants, shopping centre, etc, even walking distance from the train station. The flat has everything you may need for a short stay, nice and comfy. The host was extremely accommodating and welcoming, thank you! We even got a recommendation for a local tour guide who took us fishing and his service was also outstanding! We had a great time, definitely worth it!
There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like.

Delante de la puerta hay la parada de bus ( num 8) que lleva a Santa Claus, Aeropuerto, y otro bus q tambien lleva aeropuerto etc, y al Zoo el (num 6). Si vas con niños también hay un parque delante. Si llegas en tren, el bus se coge en la estación y te deja en el centro. Hay dos centros comerciales a 5 minutos Puedes llegar en 15 minutos andando hacia Arktikum. Muy buena comunicación con la persona que lo lleva ( quizás propietario). Sin duda repetiré 100% si no suben precios por las valoraciones… jajaj

Reviewed Oct 28, 2025Majoittajiin sai helposti yhteyden, jos oli jotain kysyttävää. Asiakaspalvelu on erittäin ystävällistä, ja asiat informoitiin selkeästi ja perusteellisesti. Asunto oli siisti ja kauniisti sisustettu. Sijainti suorastaan loistava. Asunnosta löytyi myös joitain peruselintarvikkeita, ja esim. talous- ja vessapaperia oli riittävästi. Mahdollisuus pyykinpesuun ehdoton plussa! Varustelu oli muutenkin hyvä.
Parkkihalli on vähän ahdas, varsinkin kun on vähän isompi auto. Toki se, että ylipäätään on mahdollisuus parkkipaikkaan, on hyvä asia. Paikan sänky on liian pehmeä, se on oikeasti ainut miinus tässä asunnossa. Sohvalla oli hyvä nukkua.

Reviewed Oct 5, 2025Appartement propre et lumineux, bien équipé et à côté du centre ville (5/10min à pied des centres commerciaux et restaurants) Pas loin également de la colline ounasvaara (vous prenez le pont et le petit chemin à pied éclairé jusqu'à une tour en bois pour l observation des aurores 25min de marche)
Il manque des recommandations sur les restaurants et les moyens de voir les aurores boréales (un petit livret d accueil serait bien par exemple le café 21 est un lieu sympa et il y a beaucoup de restaurant asiatique et bon marché, les horaires des navettes de bus les prix du village de noel tout cela est un plus un accueil plus chaleureux disons) Les lits étaient trop mous (mais ce n'est que notre avis personnel) Enfin nous avons été un peu déçu de la culture des habitants (les habitants sont distants, froids, ils ne répondent pas lorsque vous dites bonjour très souvent et beaucoup d activités attrape touriste) Manque des infos pour le check out et une petite phrase avez vous passé de bonnes vacances ;)

Reviewed Oct 5, 2025The location was very central (the bus stop was just opposite the apartment) and it was walking distance to cafes, restaurants, city center. An Uber ride to the airport cost less than EUR20 and it was quite easy to get a ride. Everything was available in the apartment (washing machine, fridge, oven, kettle, hairdryer). The host was very responsive when we needed help with operating instructions. The surrounding area seemed quite safe and well-lighted. I took a walk outside past midnight to try to view the aurora on the park past the bridge and I felt safe enough.
We couldn't leave our luggage as we arrived earlier than check-in but the host suggested some luggage storage nearby so that wasn't a major problem. We were able to check-in earlier once the cleaner was done. There was a minor incident about the shower door being already defective when we arrived but we weren't able to report it to the host so the host thought we broke it. I told the host to ask the cleaner before us but he said the cleaner did not report it being broken. Host asked why we did not report it, I said we arrived from an aurora tour very late (almost 3am) and were so tired and sleepy the first night and then we were busy with another tour the folllowing day. It was a good thing it was sorted out because this would really mar an otherwise positive experience as we believe we were very respectful of the place.

Reviewed Sep 20, 2025I like that you receive very precise instructions for all the codes and the key on time. The apartment was spacious, had almost everything you need, and was clean.
The kitchen was poorly equipped with dishes, and some additional cookware would have been very welcome. Also, larger mugs for tea would be nice. The kettle had not been descaled, and items (bed linen, extra blankets, and pillows) were stored in the wardrobes, so I had to move everything and clean the shelves before I could put in at least some of my clothes. The bed was quite high, but that’s a matter of personal preference.

Check in is quite late and the owner can’t store luggage. So if you arrive early or leave late, you will need to find a storage place (there are plenty in town).

The shops were nearby and quite a few restaurants.. Reviewed Mar 16, 2025Excellent location, new apartment and all facilities available. Centralised heating in the apartment is helpful in the freezing weather. Very close to the main supermarket and all tour companies. Fredric was very responsive and helpful. Check in process was smooth.
Nothing to dislike - everything is great. Just that the single beds were inconvenient as we were travelling together as a couple but seems like it's common in such apartments and owner said he's looking to change that soon so feedback already being acted upon.
