Reviewed May 5, 2026Ideal location to play golf, park run and visits to the wine farms. Small but cozy with all the appropriate amenities. Bed was cozy and the full DSTV was a bonus. Lovely to walk around the estate.
Room faced onto a neighbors patio so was quite noisy when the neighbors had guests over.

Reviewed Apr 12, 2026Cinette is a lovely hostess, very welcoming. The room is well appointed and secure, within the golf course estate. The bed was very comfortable, large spacious bathroom, TV, Internet and loads of extras which most accommodation don't have on hand. The location was perfect for us to get to our friends wedding venue within 10mins. Parking right outside the flat was great in the rain. We would certainly stay here again, for sure.
Small maintenance could be done - was concerned that the bedside shelves were coming off the wall. I am sensitive to light, and there was a lot of light omitted from the plugs / TV / aircon, etc. (Consideration to concealing these perhaps).

Reviewed Jan 5, 2026ロケーションがパーフェクト！ゴルフエステート内にある1部屋で、かなり安全で安心して過ごせました。すごく平和な雰囲気でした。周りの山の景色も素晴らしく、中心部にも近く、5分〜10分圏内に何でもあります。お部屋はコンパクトでいろいろなものが揃っていて、簡単な調理であればできそうです。シャワーも温かく、水圧も高く、2泊を快適に過ごしました。
アウトドアの椅子とテーブルが少し汚かったので使いませんでした :)

Reviewed Dec 2, 2025A meticulously planned and presented layout, down to the last detail. Spacious and perfect for a couple or single occupant. All the amenities you could ask for, with special care and attention given to cleanliness and small details. The host is kind and gracious. I highly recommend this place and will be returning to it on my next trip to Robertson.

Man sollte wissen, dass es nicht wirklich eine Küchenzeile gibt. Keine Kochgelegenheit, nur Mikrowelle. Für uns war es ok, weil wir Gaskocher selber mit hatten.

The kitchen sink is situated outside under the patio. The weather was fine when we were there so not a problem going outside but could be unpleasant having to wash your dishes in the early morning or evening during winter

Such a clean, stylish place and very comfortable. The complex itself was beautiful and very safe. I would definitely return to Lily's Rest if I was ever that side again.

Upon arrival, all necessary arrangements (security check-in) ,were pre- arranged for us...The place is in a secure estate, quiet and peaceful surroundings. Reviewed Feb 10, 2025We were looking for a quiet, secure suite and this was it. Quite spacious and well laid out, with some special touches (including tea/ coffee, bottled water, rusks etc.). Big bathroom and comfortable king-sized bed made for a very good night's sleep. Nothing too much for the hostess Cinette, who clearly has plenty of property and hospitality expertise. We loved our stay at Lily's Rest.
Cinette was unfortunately out when we arrived, and we were 'met' by Mr. (who perhaps needs a refresher course on hospitality training). This did not worry us at all though.

Access in and out of the property was cumbersome and sometimes seemed to be way over the top. They could find a better way to give paying visitors easier access through the gates like many other properties we have visited.

Everything was great. Just a suggestion, outside patio, put down some fake grass over small area which would give u the feeling yr not sitting in the driveway.. it really was fine and had all amenities.

Reviewed May 7, 2024It is a nice and cozy unit with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and Cinette had extra sheets in the drawer if needed. There was also some rusks and milk in the fridge. There is a table next to the basin to place your vanity case which is very convenient. The unit is very safe, as it is in an estate just outside town.
Just a mental note to make....our first night there was a public holiday and the restaurants in town were all closed. There is a few take a way places, so it was not a question of no food, just limited options.

The parking is right in front of the room. The host was welcoming and efficient. The entire unit was immaculately clean. The housing estate is secure, quiet and peaceful. The host allows single night stays. Good value for money.
