Freundliches, entgegenkommendes Personal. Es wurde mitgedacht und uns ein Familienzimmer zugeteilt. Leckeres Frühstück und hilfsbereite Gastgeber.

Das Familienzimmer war in seiner Aufteilung für uns nicht ganz praktisch und die Betten eher klein.

It is an exceptionally good guesthouse with very nice and comfy rooms. The staff are superb and the food is really good. Situated in a quiet part of Robertson and worth a try for a very affordable and pleasant stay.

Goede ruime kamers met hele fijne bedden. Het personeel was echt ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam en heeft ons enorm geholpen met het bezoeken van de verschillende wijngaarden in de regio. Absolute aanrader voor een verblijf in Robertson!

O colchão poderia ser um pouco mais macio.

Frühstück top. Gastgeber und Mitarbeitende super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir waren schon mehrfach hier und kommen wieder.

Von der Unterkunft aus ist es nicht weit zu den umliegenden Weingütern und Restaurants. Unser Zimmer hatte etwas die Anmutung eines Baumhauses, da die Treppe zum Zimmer um einen eindrucksvollen Baum herum gebaut wurde. Vielen Dank nochmals auf den Hinweis auf den Weinzug mit Dampflok.

Wir empfanden den Preis etwas überhöht. Das Fenster im Badezimmer bedarf einer Überholung (Griff zum verschließen 😉 ). Der Pool bzw. das darin befindliche Wasser war nicht wirklich einladend. Das mag an den umliegenden Bäumen gelegen haben.

We mentioned that we were checking in late. The staff were super friendly and waited for us to arrive. it was really brilliant service all round. Very kind. I will be back.

Our room (8) was very spacious with an equally large and efficient bathroom. This, along with a very comfortable bed, made for a great nights' sleep. Staff were, without exception, warm, welcoming and super friendly

Nothing to dislike - apart from the length of stay

Es gibt nichts zu kritisieren :-). Besitzer sehr nett, Zimmer sehr gut und auch sehr gutes Frühstück. Lage ist auch sehr gut. Es lässt sich alles zu Fuß besuchen.

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker mit frischen Früchten, Ei-Speisen und gebratenem Speck. Die Gastgeber konnten uns eindrückliche Auskünfte über Südafrika und die Einheimische Bevölkerung geben.

Breakfast was amazing thank you. Was talking to a few guests as well, very spontaneous and homely. Owners were great, very helpful with places to go and what to do. Room was beautiful and very clean. Pool was gorgeous! All and all a great stay!

Parking an issue, stughle to park my car, no proper parking space, no fridge in room, no proper blankets

The accommodation was easy to find, check in was quick and easy and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool area and the tranquil atmosphere the venue provides.

The hostess was very kind and concerned about me. They changed the double bed with singlebeds to accomodate me.

Unser Studiozimmer war sehr schön, nett eingerichtet, perfekt ausgestattet und sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Frühstück top, vielseitig und abwechslungsreich. Die Gastgeber und ihr gesamtes Team äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und mit guten Tipps für Aktivitäten in der Umgebung. Selten wurden wir so herzlich in einer Unterkunft empfangen. Hier ist das Lächeln zu Hause.

Es gibt ein Swimmingpool. Es gibt eine außergewöhnliche Fütterungsanlage für seltene Vögel. Parkplatz ist inside vorhanden. Frühstück ist sehr gut.

Het ontbijt in de tuin was prima verzorgd. We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de gastheer en gastvrouw. Prachtige tuin met veel vogels. Goed bed. Rustige buurt. Omgeving van Robertson is prachtig. Advies om te dineren in restaurant Four Cousins was een goede tip.

Het was een beetje lastig om de guest house te vinden omdat de gate dicht was.

Het bed was geweldig.

The breakfast was amazing! Definitely spring for it, it's filling and made better than any breakfasts I've had. There's a lovely communal area outside in the garden and dining. There's also a pool, although the weather was cold for swimming.

Everything was so lovely, I have no complaints. My husband and I will definitely be back.

What a super place to stay Gubas de Hoek is. Right in the middle of Robertson, with safe, private parking. The 2 bed cottage suited our needs perfectly. Well equipped , with plenty of space. We paid for breakfast each morning, which was delicious and lovely to sit near the pool. Well placed for visiting the wineries in the Robertson area. The host Balbina is lovely and so helpful , with lots of suggestions of where to visit. The gardens were beautiful and tranquil, wonderful to see the sunbirds on the sugar water feeders. Thank you for a lovely stay. We’ll be back!

The weather was on the hot side during our visit, and therefore suggesting that some fans be available for the house.

Absolutely lovely place in the center of Robertson. Secure parking inside the gates. Our room was upstairs which was really beautiful overlooking the property. Nice swimming pool with a relaxing area and a fantastic breakfast. We can really recommend this place with all the nice details and the lovely birds.

We stayed in a three-bedroomed house (Tarter Street) which was very comfortable and had a garage in which to park the car - all very safe. The kitchen had a dishwasher which was a bonus. Great hairdryer and there was a lovely coffee shop two houses down from us.

We had a great one night stay when taking the NCCR (New Cape Central Railway) wine tasting train in Robertson. Good walking distance to the raiway. Friendly staff, great beds, excellent location and stunning gardens. I especially loved the sculptures in the garden. We bought some food and wine after the train, and had a stay at home tapas dinner. The staff helped us to make a fire, and we sat outside in the fall evening enjoying the lovely outdoor space

The room was very comfortable with a pleasing outlook. The bathroom had some nice additional thoughtful touches. Breakfast was served in a lovely outside covered area in the calm peaceful garden and was excellent.

There was nothing for me not to like.

The property was wonderful. We were warmly treated by the owner , Balbalina , and her friendly staff. The cottage was well equipped with everything that one would need. It was quiet. It also had a lovely pool. It was clean. We got good advice about where to eat and visit.

Had a great night at this property staying with family. The staff were all super friendly and efficient, the rooms were spotless and we were on the upper level which felt a bit like you were living in a tree house, which was fab ! And the best bit....the breakfast, home cooked, best I've had in years !

Great location, facilities, husband loved the pool, very friendly helpful staff, very large breakfast, Netflix, Youtube, very cool room even when the day was hot.

Will book one of the rooms closer to the parking next time as they have bigger bathrooms

I felt the pool was a safety hazard without fencing.its not a place I'll bring my grandbabies.

We loved how spacious the accommodation was. The staff were very helpful and charming. The outside space was nicely secluded. Both the pool and garden were nicely arranged and furnished. Agood location.

The crockery and kitchen equipment was very minimal. No kitchen scissors were provided but I guess I could have requested some. Would have liked more comfortable furniture in the living room say a couple of armchairs. Aircon in the bedroom would have been a great asset. However we were very pleased with the accommodation.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen kurzen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Alle waren sehr herzlich und das Zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet. Für unser Baby gab es sogar ein Babybett, welches extra hergerichtet wurde. Eine sehr sichere Unterkunft mit Parkplatz, Pool, Grill Möglichkeit und einem sehr leckeren Frühstück. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
