Reviewed Sep 6, 2026We stayed at Reindeer Route Apartment on October 5th, and we were really happy with our experience. The place fully met our expectations. Everything was clearly explained, and the directions to the apartment were very accurate and easy to follow. The instructions were provided properly, which made the check-in and stay very smooth. The rooms and beds were really comfortable, and the entire apartment was clean, well maintained, and welcoming. The surrounding area was also very clean and well looked after. Overall, we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. We would definitely recommend this place to others and would be happy to stay here again.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Rauhallinen asunto 3,8 km keskustasta. Sopii omalla autolla liikkuville. Metsäpolku alkaa aivan talon vierestä.
Meille yli 70-vuotiaille raput yläkerran makuuhuoneisiin, 2 hionetta, olivat todella jyrkät ja askelmat korkeita. Kipeillä polvilla oli vaikea liikkua mm. yöllä wc:hen. Nuorille tämä ei ole ongelma. 3 hengelle ruokaa laittavalle lieden sijainti ikkunan edessä ilman liesituiletinta oli yllätys. Pyyhimme sitten ikkunalasit puhtaaksi ruoanlaiton jälkeen. Liedelle parempi paikka olisi keittiön työtaso.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Paikka rauhallinen, metsän reunassa. Asunto oli hieman sokkeloinen, mutta täytti hyvin tarkoituksensa, kaikki tarvittava löytyi ja asunto oli siisti. Omistaja ystävällinen. Meillä oli pieni villakoira mukana ja senkin puolesta kaikki meni hyvin. Kiitos Janicalle.
En huomannut, enkä keksi mitään valittamisen aihetta.

Reviewed May 24, 2026Todella siisti asunto. Sijainti oli rauhallisella asuinalueella ja helppo löytää. 2-4 ihmistä sopii asuntoon hyvin vaikkakin olohuone on aika ahdas. Laadukkaat suihkutuotteet ihana yllätys. Pikkukoirasta ei peritty erikseen maksua 👍.
Sisään tullessa tuoksui voimakkaasti pesuaine, ei miellyttävää hajusteallergiselle.

Reviewed May 17, 2026Todella siisti asunto, hyvällä paikalla. Majoittaja oli mukava ja vastasi nopeasti viesteihin. Lemmikki oli myös tervetullut ja siitä ei mennyt lisämaksua.
Portaat vähän haasteelliset lapsiperheelle, mutta tämä toki oli tiedossa etukäteen ettei portteja ole ja lapsetkin oppi varomaan niissä kyllä.

Reviewed Mar 16, 2026Naktsmītnē bija viss nepieciešamais. Māja atrodas pie meža, patīkama apkārtne. Saimniece ļoti laipna un atsaucīga. Auto var atstāt pie pašām durvīm, kas ir ļoti ērti ģimenei. Paldies par uzņemšanu.
Mums nepatika sintētiskā gultas veļa, bet par laimi mums bija līdz sava kokvilnas.

Perfetto per famiglie o piccoli gruppi che preferiscono una soluzione "local" agli alloggi del centro, dove potersi cucinare anche un piatto di pasta.

Reviewed Oct 21, 2025Paikka oli siisti ja viihtyisä. Palju oli aivan mahtava ja laitettu valmiiksi tilauksesta, mitään ei tarvinnut itse tehdä. Erityis plussaa oli että koirasta ei mennyt lisämaksua. Varmasti varaamme uudelleen kun olemme Rovaniemellä.
Portaat oli vähän pelottavat mutta 5 vuotias, koira ja näkövammainen liikkuivat niissä silti hyvin.

Ilmoituksessa luki 3 makuuhuonetta. Oli vain 2 ja olohuone jossa kylläkin vuodesohva. Jos olisin avannut vuodesohvan ei olisi ruokapöytään päässyt.

Not in the centre of Rovaniemi but close by car to the main attractions (Santa Claus Village, reindeer farm, Articum museum). Excellent quality/price ratio. The host Janica was super nice and helpful, always available, answering immediately to questions and requests.

Reviewed Feb 10, 2025This becomes a home away from home. Its out of the way, its safe for kids, there are nature walks right next to where you're staying. The place was spotless, furniture was comfy and very inviting. The old addage of you dont holiday to stay in your hotel is applicable but where you are tired and in need of just a couch day, this place absolutely fits the bill. Privacy was good, you have neighbours but you're not watching their tv and listening to their music by proximity. Lots of animals doing the rounds also, we saw white rabbits bouncing around the snow and reindeer on the nature trails. The host was very obliging and despite my ludicrously early check in request still managed to cater for me and the two kids on very short notice. The host was also very obliging in offering us additional resources where we needed them and also on very short notice. Its also off the beaten track yet close to the airport. A very well balanced combination.
I'm not tall, not by any stretch (pun intended.) But the upstairs ceilings are low and the stairs are definitely an issue for anyone above 5'5" if you're tall watch your head going up stairs and in the bedrooms. Also a double bed for a couple would have been preferred, but it grants far more flexibility where groups are staying. For the light sleepers among us the return of late night workers can be a disturbance but it was few and far between.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2025Fabulous homey accommodation. We had a lovely stay at Reindeer Route Apartment. The information regarding check-in was easy to follow. The host was amazing and very supportive when I had left some items behind - we really appreciated the assistance Janica provided with this! Some games and sleds available for the kids was a bonus. Cooking facilities worked well, it's a small but functional cooking space. Good amount of condiments/ extra pantry items available too which was very helpful. Bathroom is well appointed and heating was great. There was even an extra heater left for us as the host noted it was a little cool prior to our arrival. We were able to use this as a great base for exploring the local area and would definitely stay again!

Some kitchen utensils were not available.
