We had a wonderful stay! The studio we booked was very comfortable, and its very well located! The staff were also very friendly and helpful during our stay. Highly recommended!

Great location. Easy walk from train station. The apartment was beautifully furnished and had all of the amentities. Great bed with good linens. Full kitchen that I did not use. Tucked away on a quiet street overlooking the town. This apartment is separate from thenhotel. There is no view but none was promised. Check in and out was great. Very attentive

I liked everything. Future bookings should note that the walk from the train station to the apartment is uphill. I am fit and had minimal luggage. Those with mobility issues or a lot of luggage should probably arrange for a ride up the hill even though it is a very short walk

Gorgeous and memorable place to stay. Extraordinary views. Clean and comfortable and homely. Great location just a few minutes walk from restaurants and shops.

We couldn’t get the dishwasher to work but that was maybe just us.

Die Lage ist super und sehr Nahe am Bahnhof und Dorf. Da ich sehr wenig Frühstück esse, brauche ich kein Frühstücksbuffet und daher ist die kleine Küche super. Gemütliche Einrichtung. Mir hats gut gefallen.

Sauberkeit: ich hatte den Eindruck, dass die Ferienwohnung längers nicht mehr benutzt wurde im Bad und Zimmer hatte es Staub. Und der Badzimmerboden, war anhand des Bodentuch auch eher etwas schmutzig. Die Kaffeemaschine wenig schmuddelig, am Kapseleinwurf

Wunderschöner Ausblick auf die Berge. Wenige Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt und sehr ruhige Lage. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und verfügt über alles für einen Aufenthalt mit Hund.

Alles super, nur etwas Grundausstattung wie Schampoo/Duschgel haben gefehlt. Das Personal hat aber sofort weitergeholfen.

One of the best stays in last 10 years, I loved it where I can see mount Eiger standing straight from our room, loved all facilities including kitchen, balcony and furniture designs. Best stay in Grindewald, I will definitely come back to stay here bit more.

Property is great

Voor Nederlandse begrippen moet je een elke dag stijlen heling op en ad lopen om bij de skibussen(centrum) te komen. het is het allemaal waard als je elke ochtend met een vrijuitzicht op de bergen wakker word. Het appartement is gewoon schoon en netjes, en alles wat in de beschrijving staat is aanwezig. De douche is goed en lekker warm. Wij hebben hier een geweldige verblijf gehad. En het is een super mooi stukje Zwitserland!

We kregen niet tijdens ons verblijf schone handdoeken (hebben we ook niet gevraagd bij de receptie)

Emplacement très tranquille tout en étant proche du centre du village comportant de nombreux restaurants, commerces et une gare. Les hôtes sont accueillants et disponibles. L'appartement de style chalet suisse est un peu vieillot mais grand et fonctionnel. Du balcon, il y a une très belle vue sur les montagnes enneigées.

En hivers, la montée d'accès en voiture nécessite un équipement spécial (chaines), cela pourrait être précisé dans la description du logement. L'équipement de la cuisine est assez sommaire et dépareillé (couverts, verres, tasses...)

The walk up the hill to the accommodation

Cosy, view from the front door. There appears to be 2 Margerits. The one in the late afternoon, with glasses, was extremely nice and kind (as opposed to...) Jessica at the restaurant was extremely nice, as were the other Italian staff.

The fact that it is up on a hill makes it hard for anyone with luggage (probably everyone not living there permanently). Being charged for the less-than-a-minute ride to the station. Toilet doesn't flush well... Terrible internet - almost drops every few seconds - impossible to use at all.

왠만한 식기랑 와인잔 다있어서 요리해먹기 좋았고 사진에서 보던거보다 더 넓은 느낌이났어요 주방에 식탁이있었는데 거실에 다이닝공간이 또 있었어요 전자레인지 있어서 햇반돌련먹기 너무 편하고요 캡슐커피도 있어요 테라스도 엄청 길고 넓어요 그린델발트역과 쿱이랑 엄청 가깝고 경사져서 오를때 힘들긴 하지만 위치가 너무좋아요 뷰는 진짜 말해뭐해 최고입니다 그린델발트 숙소 춥다해서 전기장판 챙겨야하나 했는데 라디에이터있어서 너무 따뜻하게 잘지냈고요 너무 아기자기하고 예쁜 숙소여서 스위스 여행중 제일 기억에 납니다 다시 돌아가고싶어요...

언덕이 진짜 장난아니고요 셔틀있다고해서 연락해봤는데 비용이 있다고하더라고요 (다른분들은 안받으신거같은데 생긴건지 얼리체크인이어서 그런건지..?)비용내고 가기엔 또 가까워서 25kg캐리어 끌고 올라가다가 죽는줄알았습니다 화장실에서 쪼꼼 원인모를 냄새가 올라왔어요 키로 열어야하는데 목걸이처럼 맬수있어서 잃어버릴일은 없었습니다 진짜 퐁듀기계 토치같이 없는게 없는데 왜 와인오프너가 없는지 모르겠습니다 식당에서 빌려쓰긴했습니다

직원분이 친절해요. 요리해먹을수있는공간이 있어 좋았어요. 방이 청결해요. 옆에 사람들이 있었는데도 다른숙소에 비해 방음이잘되는것같아요.

와이파이가 느려요. 화장실에 불한번켜면 환풍구같은곳 15분정도 지난뒤에 꺼져서 불편해요. 숙소가 역이랑 가깝지만 오르막길이라 힘듬

My studio was well equipped and comfortable Despite the inclement weather, I enjoyed my holiday. The staff are friendly. There is a washing machine and dryer in the hotel. Short but steep walk to train, bus, shops and gondola to First. Highly recommend

언덕에 있지만 경치가 좋아서 만족스러웠습니다 체크인아웃 친절하게 진행해 주셨고, 숙소 청결도도 좋고 식사해먹기에 주방용품들이 충분했습니다 세제랑 수세미도 제공해주셔서 별도로 안사도 되서 좋았어요! 아 그리고 그린델발트 교통권도 주셨습니다 쓰진 않았지만 오래 머물렀다면 도움이 됐을것같아요

캐리어 끌고 가기에 언덕이 조금 경사지긴 했어요 픽업 요청하면 오신다고 했지만 빠르게 가고싶어서 캐리어 끌고갔는데 쪼금 후회했습니다 그거 말곤 다 좋았어요

The view was incredible. Being able to sit every morning and every night to relax and enjoy the view was better than we could have imagined.

吹風機跟一個刷子擺在同一個空間 入住沒有告知要拖行李上好幾個斜坡，客人可以依照自己行李大小多寡來決定是否付費shuttle 來接送，我跟夥伴差點沒斷氣……😅

The staff was very nice, friendly and welcoming. The room/apartment was very nice as well with a great balcony and an incredible view of the North face of the Eiger. If you come for a sporting event like I did, such an apartment is the best choice given your possibility to cook, relax and not subscribe to any meal schedules imposed by the hotel. The apartment had everything we needed to live there for basically a week, only occasionaly relying on the town's restaurants and bars. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED.

Good location, just few minutes walk from Train Station. However, the path to the apartment was very steep, but I believe this is very common in Grindelwald. The view from the apartment was amazing, the Eiger was just in front of us. Kitchen equip with most of the thing we need, even come with peppers and salts. Host was friendly, she showed us the apartment when checked-in, and allowed us to leave the luggage in hotel when checked-out.

It would be great if can provide the Oven Mitt in Kitchen, and Body Shampoo in bathroom.

The location was exceptional! Close to the rental shops, restaurants, buses to get to the ski lodge, and free parking! Chalet with beautiful views. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Appreciated the full kitchen in the studio.

Some more vegan options for breakfast would have been nice but we understand that the food there is very heavy on the animal product.

Very spacious. Very clean and well maintained. Incredible view of the mountains and also in a great location.

Reception staff were very helpful.

The wifi was not functional. An alternate wifi was provided, unfortunately were not able to access that one either, unless sitting in the reception area. Since we were traveling and needed access to wifi to manage various reservations and personal matters, this was a significant disruptions. Additionally, this property did not provide any soap, except dish soap.

Asked for the shuttle bus service when check-out in the morning, but the staff of Alpenhof Hotel is not as nice as expected. She gave a lot of excuse to refuse my request. Pay attention to walk if you carry heavy luggage, it's not easy. But this is the common difficulty found in Grindewald

It was very nice to have a kitchen and refrigerator. There was a supermarket nearby, so I was able to cook and eat whatever I wanted. It was like a detached house, so I could relax and see the greenery outside the window. It was close to the station and convenient to go anywhere. However, it is a steep climb, so be careful if you have a lot of luggage.

Clean and beautiful. Staff was great. Held our bags post check out so we could continue to explore. Apartment view is gorgeous especially for the price

It is right next to a hotel where we can pick up keys & ask for help from the reception. The reception staff were super helpful, especially Maria. Big thanks to Maria for all the help she provided and she was so sweet & welcoming!

Nothing wrong about the apartment. There were a lot of flies in the Grindelwald area so it is inevitable to have a few in the house

The location is gorgeous…but like everything in Grindelwald, be prepared for an uphill walk to get there! The place was very, very quiet.

The bed was about as big as I am, and I kept hitting the wall.

The apartment was clean, comfortable bed. The kitchen include everything whatever you need for cooking. The terrace with amazing view! The hotel staff was friendly and helpful with our questions. I will back again in next season!

The location is a bit of a hike up a road from the Bahnhof, so if you have extra heavy or excess luggage, you will need to arrange a car. However, it is a 3-4 block distance from the station and many restaurants, which makes it convenient. In icy conditions, the road could be slick going up or down. Be careful!

The private room is a tight space, which worked for me as a solo traveler, but would be quite cramped for a couple and two suitcases (and ski gear).

Very clean. Good mini-kitchen facilities. Strong shower. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Staff were VERY helpful! Lots of hot water. Had every necessity.

Toilet seat was loose, needed fixing. Good location, but a rather steep climb up to it. But then, ALL hotels are up or down hills in Grindelwald! Very tiny space, but I wasn’t there much.

Margerit at the reception was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable in every way, a great asset to the image of the place we stayed. She gave guidance in all aspects of our stay and was always there to help with any questions.

If you are a solo traveller like me and you are looking for a reasonably priced apartment to explore this area of Switzerland from then you can’t do much better than this! I absolutely loved my stay here and will definitely return one day and heartily recommend it! I miss sitting at the little table and chairs outside the flat, either having my breakfast and planning out my day or having a relaxing beer at the end of the day watching the sunset reflected off the eiger. An unforgettable stay. Any problems I had were quickly resolved my the hotel staff who were very helpful and friendly. Switzerland is quite an expensive place so it’s worth having self-catering facilities such as this to save a lot of money! I just want to add that the fridge has a small freezer compartment as had I knew this I’d have bought an ice pack with me to keep my sandwiches nice and cool.
