We checked in very very late. and I think our room had not been refreshed because spider webs were visible everywhere. At the corners, under the patio chairs and milk in the fridge wasn’t fresh. I believe they could have refreshed the room if we had arrived early

This is just a suggestion,but if the pool was heated,we would have spent hours there. And at the back when you leave your room,if you can make fences between the rooms,like small boma/private stoep/braai areas,that would be amazing. With like a weber for each room. I am attaching a photo of what I am referring to above.

Unfortunately, my experience with management was disappointing. In the morning, I approached the manager, Marianne, to ask about breakfast. She impatiently informed me that breakfast needed to be requested the day before. I explained that I was not aware of this policy, as it was not clearly stated during booking. She responded that she could not assist me, mentioned that the chef was not on shift, and said she would update the Booking.com information in the future. Her attitude in handling the situation was disappointing and unwelcoming. The shower water in our room was cold. I raised this issue with Marianne, and while she attempted to help, the problem was not resolved. We were asked to try a second room but the issues were the same. She offered us to try a third room but as it was already late, we had no choice but to take a cold shower. I understand that issues can arise that are sometimes beyond one’s control. However, what truly matters in these situations is the attitude and approach toward guests. Unfortunately, this was lacking during our stay. The property is undeniably beautiful.

I was pleased and plan to be a regular anytime I'm in BFN. Oh and the staff was friendly. My room always clean. By the way forever grateful for the Cot. 😇😇😇

Nothing, however the drainage in the shower should be looked at, could have been blocked but the water started to pool on the shower floor fairly quickly.
