Everything was amazing! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and took great care of us. They even shared some delicious local food and gave us excellent recommendations and advice. You can really tell how much they enjoy welcoming people and making them feel comfortable, as if they were at home. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it!

Unfortunately, you hear every sound from the staircase. Since people use this place to go to the airport we heard people come and go during the entire night… so we could not get much sleep

L'appartamento era carino e comodo ma andrebbe curato meglio: ad esempio, la zanzariera della camera da letto si abbassava ma non restava giù, I ganci per i teli del bagno non erano ben fissati, c'erano delle formichine in bagno e in cucina.

Nous avons apprécié Maria qui est venue nous chercher à l'aéroport avec sa navette, même très très tard. Maria nous a donné toutrs les informations importantes et a répondu à nos questions avec gentillesse, bienveillance et sourire...comme une sœur. Le lendemain elle était là pour nous ramener à l'aéroport pour prendre possession de notre véhicule. Cela nous a fait chaud au cœur ❤️.

Nothing. The airport collection is a perk which we appreciated in the middle of the night, but not worth it to stay here.

Our apartment looking nothing like the photos. They are entirely misleading and I can’t see any photos that reflect the apartment we stayed in. The bathroom was old, looked like it was falling apart, and smelled disgusting. The rest of the apartment also appeared unclean, with ants crawling on the kitchen counter. The only silver lining was that we were only there for a total of 5 hours overnight, and even that was too long. We are genuinely shocked by our experience vs the photos (and positive reviews!).

Great flat! Also got complementary transfer from the flat to the airport at 4:30. Everything was great!

Das einzig Positive war die nette Mitarbeiterin Maria, die den Flughafentransfer übernommen hat und auch schnell da war und geholfen hat, als wir sie nach dem Checkin angerufen haben, weil die Bettwäsche schmutzig war.

Leider entsprach das Appartment nicht den Fotos auf Booking. Es war sehr alt und abgewohnt und manches kaputt, zB. Haken im Badezimmer hing herunter. Es fehlten auch einfache Dinge wie ein Klopapierhalter, ein großer Spiegel und eine Kaffeemaschine. Das Leintuch hatte Flecken, wurde aber auf unseren Wunsch schnell ausgetauscht. Unter der Abwasch hat es gestunken und überall sind Ameisen herumgekrabbelt. Insgesamt sehr renovierungsbedürftig. Wir haben die Unterkunft auf Grund der Lage und der sehr guten Bewertungen gebucht und waren dementsprechend enttäuscht. Bei nochmaliger Durchsicht von Bewertungen ist bei uns der Eindruck entstanden, dass die Zimmer und Wohnungen in recht unterschiedlichem Zustand sind. Es ist dann halt leider Glückssache, was man bekommt. Die Fotos auf Booking wirken stark bearbeitet und haben jedenfalls nicht die Realität unseres Zimmers wieder.

Man wird gratis vom Flughafen abgeholt, sehr nette Dame.

Sind spät in der Nacht angekommen. Sobald wir das Licht eingeschaltet haben, wuselte eine große Kakerlake unter das Bett. Später kletterte eine Kakerlake neben dem Nachtkästchen hinauf. Umzug in ein anderes Appartement im Haus war nicht möglich, anschließend über Booking Storno beim Besitzer beantragt, wurde vom Besitzer nicht erlaubt. Sind noch in der selben Nacht in ein anderes Hotel umgezogen. Und nun doppelt diese Nacht bezahlt.

C est la deuxième fois que nous réservons. Navette gratuite à l' aéroport. Maria est très réactive et sympathique. L' appartement est bien agencé, literie confortable, calme. Très bien pour 1 nuit et reprendre son avion le lendemain.

Das Apartment ist vom Flughafen aus sehr gut (auch zu Fuß) zu erreichen. Es ist aber schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und müsste einmal renoviert werden.

Very spacious and comfortable luxury apartment close to airport. Excellent as a hub for further travel. Also all staff are very friendly.

In the later evening it is not easy to get food or something to eat in the neighbourhood. So ensure you bring something before heading there if you arrive late.

Il y avait une odeur forte dans l’appartement

L'unico motivo per scegliere questa struttura è la Signora Maria che è gentilissima e molto simpatica. Ci è venuta a prendere all'Aeroporto alla sera alle 23.00 e ci ha accompagnati nuovamente al mattino successivo per il noleggio auto il tutto compreso nel prezzo della camera. La struttura è in una zona dove non c'è niente solo un parcheggio per l'aeroporto. Maria è stata gentile e si è fermata ad un minimarket per comprare qualcosa per cena.

Positiv hervorzuheben sind lediglich der frühere Check-in sowie der kostenlose Transfer vom Flughafen.

Leider war unser Aufenthalt von erheblichen Problemen geprägt. Bereits gegen 18 Uhr meldeten wir der Hausdame, dass das Licht flackerte und aus dem Stromkasten ein sehr lautes und beunruhigendes Geräusch kam. Auch der Backofen und die Klimaanlage machten auffällige Geräusche. Die Hausdame leitete die Meldung weiter und uns wurde Abhilfe zugesagt. Wir versuchten etwas Zeit in einem Restaurant zu überbrücken, da wir auf die Abhilfe vertraut hatten. Als wir vom Essen zurückkamen, waren unsere persönlichen Sachen von zahlreichen Ameisen befallen. Diese waren offensichtlich durch die Terrassentür in die Unterkunft gelangt. Die Hausdame kann dies bestätigen und beseitigte die Ameisen zunächst. Anschließend mussten wir uns mit den erheblichen technischen Problemen der Unterkunft befassen. Da das Hauptproblem nicht behoben wurde, suchten wir die Hausdame später erneut auf. Schließlich kontaktierten wir direkt den Eigentümer. Dieser zeigte für unsere Situation leider wenig Verständnis und verhielt sich uns gegenüber unhöflich und aus unserer Sicht unprofessionell. Uns wurde sinngemäß erklärt, es handele sich um ein großräumiges Problem der Stadtwerke bzw. der Stromversorgung und wir müssten uns lediglich gedulden. Sinngemäß wurde uns auch gesagt, dass dies nicht das Problem des Eigentümers sei, da die Stadtwerke verantwortlich seien. Diese Darstellung konnten wir vor Ort allerdings nicht nachvollziehen. Wir haben uns selbst bei den umliegenden Nachbarn davon überzeugt, dass dort Strom vorhanden war. Auch die umliegenden Häuser und Straßenlaternen waren beleuchtet. Bei den anderen Häusern waren nach unserer eigenen Beobachtung weder die von uns festgestellten Lichtschwankungen noch die Geräusche aus den Stromkästen festzustellen.

Nice appartment, well equipped. Very kind host, she picked us up in the middle of night from the airport. Although the appartment is located near the airport, we didn´t hear planes. Car rentals located nearby.

Excellent location near the airport (a 20-minute walk). The staff arranged our ride to the airport at 5 am, at no extra cost. The staff is very responsive and answers requests promptly. The apartment is also nice (clean and practical).

La cortesia, la disponibilità e la solarità di Maria sono il vero valore aggiunto alla struttura che si trova in una posizione strategica, a pochi minuti dall' aeroporto e dalle maggiori società di autonoleggio. In zona ci sono minimarket aperti fino a tardi e bakery dove fare colazione.

L' arredamento della nostra stanza era un po' datato ma la pulizia e i comfort erano impeccabili. Siamo rimasti solo una notte ma non mancava niente per un soggiorno anche più lungo.

No water to have a shower or use the toilet. Communication with staff was poor. Once reported, no call back received. We were left in the dark of what to do or for how long this would be the case

Comodità perché vicino all'aeroporto, parcheggio comodo, check-in veloce e automatico in tarda nottata. Punto di appoggio per arrivi e partenze.

Il bagno e' un punto critico ha bisogno di manutenzione, il condizionatore è troppo rumoroso, strada rumorosa, tapparelle/persiane inesistenti, tende a rullo che filtrano la luce, distributore bevande esterno rotto inutilizzabile.

Maria picked us up at the airport and was super friendly and nice during the handover.

IT IS A TOTAL SCAM

The apartment was full of black mold, the walls are crumbling all over the place, the bed sheets were stained, the cleaning lady was smoking while cleaning the towels. We asked for an upgrade which we would have hapily payed for but we have not been greeted by the host and they were not retuning our calls or answering any messages. AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU WANT TO AVOID AN ABSOULTE HEALTH HAZARD.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per una notte prima di noleggiare la macchina per trascorrere le nostre vacanze a Creta. Ottima la vicinanza all’aeroporto di heraklion e grande gentilezza della proprietaria che ci è venuta a prendere all’aeroporto sia al nostro arrivo di notte che alla mattina per andare a noleggiare la macchina.

The place is located close to the airport and offer a free shuttle back and forth, so it was very easy to get there. Even late at night. It was clean, spacius, hot water to shower, AC was good, quiet neigberhood. A great place to spend one night before or after a flight.

Не сподобалось, що відвалилось кріплення для душу на голову, оскільки воно було старе і вже зносилось, також відпадали ручки в туалеті зсередини, через що можна лишитись заручником вбиральні, якщо ззовні нікого в апартаментах більше немає. Дуже старі меблі.

L'appartement est proche de l'aéroport, ce qui parfait pour le premier ou le dernier jour du séjour lorsque les vols sont tôt le matin ou tard le soir. La navette gratuite pour l'aéroport et à temps et un vrai plus.

L'appartement est assez ancien et mériterait d'être rénové notamment la salle de bain (pas de lunette sur les WC).

The apartments are very close to the airport and convenient. They are also spacious and spotlessly clean. Best of all Maria was incredibly warm and helpful collecting us from the airport and helping us with a connection the following day. We will be back. Thank you!

Makkelijk inchecken.

Wat een teleurstellende ervaring bij George Airport Apartments. Aan het einde van de middag viel de stroom uit in een deel van het gebouw, waardoor wij zonder airconditioning en verlichting kwamen te zitten. Pas na vier uur kwam er een technicus, die alleen kon concluderen dat hij er niets aan kon doen. Onze herhaalde verzoeken om een alternatieve verblijfplaats werden genegeerd, zowel via Booking.com als via WhatsApp, en ook de 24-uurs telefoonlijn werd niet opgenomen. Door de hitte hebben we uiteindelijk maar op het balkon geslapen, met het lawaai van de luchthaven, de felle verlichting van de parkeerplaats en de stank van urine vanaf de parkeerplaats. Pas rond 4 uur 's nachts kwam de stroom weer terug, kort voordat we werden opgehaald voor de airport transfer. Die auto bleek niet geschikt voor vijf passagiers, waardoor we met kunst- en vliegwerk alsnog op tijd op de luchthaven aankwamen. Een stroomstoring kan gebeuren, maar overmacht is geen excuus om niet te communiceren met je gasten en actief naar oplossingen te zoeken. Het volledig uitblijven van elke reactie, terwijl wij midden in de nacht zonder stroom en zonder alternatief zaten, is voor ons de reden dat we deze accommodatie niet zouden aanraden.

The proximity to the airport. It is a very good choice for late night arrivals. The best part is the complimentary transport service from the airport, even late at night.

Our room was not one of the renovated ones, just the bathroom was renovated. But for a short stay it was fine.

Locația, excelentă pentru o noapte de tranzit lângă aeroport Maria ne-a ajutat și ne-a dus cu mașina la un supermarket în apropiere, pentru a ne lua apă și pâine.

La serviciul de transfer ni s-a spus inițial că vom face 3 drumuri( eram 7 adulți și 5 copii). Dar mașina era foarte mică, bagajele nu ar fi avut loc. Am ales sa mergem pe jos decât să așteptăm probabil 5 drumuri. Nu a fost totuși mult de mers, dar la miezul nopții a fost ușor dificil din cauza copiilor obosiți. Erau insecte în ambele apartamente închiriate Te lipeai de blatul și masa de bucătărie, asta denotă curățenie superficială.

This apartment was perfect for us to stay as a family of 5 after a late arrival into Crete. Maria was very helpful picking us up from the airport and helping us get into our room despite it being very late. The space was perfect for our family and there was plenty of room. The children enjoyed the comfortable double beds. Thankyou for a great start to our holiday
