Die Gastgeberin war skurril, auf Nachfrage nach einem Restaurant mit Ocean View empfiehlt sie etwas mit einem Blick gegen eine Betonwand, was absolut empfehlenswert wäre. Ich habe dann darauf hingewiesen, dass ich etwas entsprechendes fand. Sie erwiderte, dirx hätte normalerweise nicht geöffnet, obwohl vom Inhaber bestätigt , dass es mittags und abends geöffnet habe. Warum würde man so etwas machen? Man durfte nicht sitzen, wo man wollte, auch nicht draußen und es wurde über andere Gäste gelästert, weil sie nicht pünktlich um acht zum Frühstück erschienen sind. Irgendwie strange.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026The location overlooked a private beach with a path that led down from the grassed area in front of the accomodation. The room was very tastefully decorated, the bed was so comfortable that it was the best night's sleep we had had in 4 weeks. The heated blanket was very welcome and there was a small wood burning fire place which was fantastic. The accomodation is quite new (I believe 3 years old), so everything was very current, neat and well designed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. I will definitely stay here again if I pass through Lambert's Bay. This was really fantastic.

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026All I can say is.....WOW WOW WOW!!! What an incredible find. The host was SUPER friendly. This place is right on the beach, secluded from the world, it seemd. It has its own private little beach ( not a swimming beach, but the most beautiful rocks and boulders. The guest house is magnificent! The attention to detail in every part of the house is top notch!! Well done the the owner. Maddy, who runs the place has a heart of GOLD. She referred us the the best restaurant in town for the evening. Whenever we pass through Lamberts Bay, THIS will be the place where we will sleep over. You won't be disappointed!!

No handrail on the few steps down to the sitting room from the reception level - a chrome handrail would be useful for unsure footed people.

Reviewed Jan 5, 2026Prachtige ligging, pal op het strand. De kamer is zeer ruim en comfortabel, met een Nespresso-machine, een groot bed en een schitterend zicht op de oceaan. Het verblijf werkte bijzonder ontspannend — we zijn hier echt volledig tot rust gekomen.
Misschien iets aan de duurdere kant, maar wij hadden de grootste kamer en de combinatie van ligging en comfort rechtvaardigt dit volledig.

Reviewed Jan 2, 2026Our room opened onto the sea front. We could walk to the beach and sit on the rocks at sunset. Wifi was good. Breakfast was amazing, a full breakfast. We could watch the seals, birds and a pair of Mongoos on the rocks. Good DSTV Chanels. Easy parking at the property.

Breakfast felt a bit rushed (warm breakfast was served whilst we we still busy with our fruit & muesli). It is a small thing - the rest of our stay was very enjoyable.
