Reviewed Aug 31, 2026The apartment is right on the beach, we did have everything we needed. Annemari was great, very helpful and sorted a drainage issue out on a Sunday. She was able to help sort out our laundry and came out after hours to book us in on the Saturday afternoon
You park your car right in front of your front door which completely obstructs your view. The finishes are old and dated. Beggars were a nuasance and showed up at our front door all the time.

Die slaapkamer kry geen son en is teenaan bure. Jy hoor alles wat bure gesels. Elke oggend en aand bedelaars voor jou deur.

Everything is outdated. Heater was broken. BBQ was not functional, we had to support the grid with bricks. The unit is very cold. The small little floor heater is not sufficient for the unit. The lady who checked us in was in such a hurry. Never bothered to show the entire unit before leaving us. The unit needs upgrade.

Reviewed May 13, 2026Self-catering unit so breakfast was not included in the accommodation, however there was a microwave, stove + oven, fridge etc. that you could make a fantastic meal. There are also approximately 6 restaurants in close proximity should you wish to rather eat out. There are CCTV cameras outside the property, as well as a security gate which does add to feeling safe, especially as we did not visit in peak season.
Nothing to add about the accommodation. Everything was as expected as per bookings.com site, everything we expected was there, everything was in working order.

Reviewed Feb 26, 2026I liked everything, but the view from the balcony and living room is exceptional. I was on a tight schedule and could only stay overnight, but Lambert's Bay really deserves a weekend to explore, and Albatross Accommodation is the perfect base to do that. The management were fantastic and gave me a very warm welcome, and recommended some great places. I will definitely be back.

Reviewed Nov 11, 2025Not sure what room we _were_ assigned, but we were grateful to be upgraded to a room (#6) which overlooks the ocean. Beautiful views of Lamberts Bay 🌊 The owner was super friendly & helpful on the phone to resolve an issue getting into our room.
Unfortunately the floors were very dirty, the couches badly stained/old, no hand soap in the bathroom, no kitchen dustbin (or maybe we just couldn't find it?). The key collection comms could be a bit better. Would like to give the benefit of the doubt, so perhaps as we were given a room upgrade on arrival, the room wasn't fully prepped for our arrival?
