Location is brilliant. Jim is super helpful and so lovely!! He made sure to answer all questions and was amazing!! Huge house, that was very clean!!

Very handy location and staff very obliging and helpful. Definitely will be back soon a great spot in a great lively town.

We really enjoyed our time here, it was one of the best self catering accommodations we ever stayed in, our host that checked us in, was so nice and checked if we needed anything and to give him a call if we did, it was lovely and quiet which we wanted, very clean, and has everything you needed, and it has a fantastic view.

No 17 is in the perfect location close to shops and the town centre. Plenty of parking and Jim was very helpful, providing us with everything we asked for

The property is ideal for large groups who don't want to cook.

Jim our host was most helpful and came to settle us in and show us the house. Communication was easy .The property is located very close to all the bars and restaurants in Carrick. It accommodated our group very well. We were attending the Joe Mooney summer festival in Drumshanbo and this was a great base for us. There’s a SuperValu, pharmacy and cafe and some retail stores at the rear of the house within a four minute walk.

We had a great stay. There were 7 of us for a hen weekend. Jim looked after us very well and went above and beyond to help especially with one of our group on crutches. Apartment was lovely clean and plenty of room for all of us. Would highly recommend for a group stay.

We Couldn’t recommend Glancys accommodation enough. It was so spacious, spotless and central to everything. Our host Jim was so helpful, accommodating and friendly. With a pub straight across the road too with lovely staff. Brilliant for a large group as there are a lot of rooms beds, showers. All and all brilliant place.

Had a fantastic weekend in carrick on shannon. Accommodation was clean and very comfortable. Also really good location within walking distance to everything. Owner Jim was very friendly and helpful by sorting us out with everything including taxi’s and breakfast in his bar across the road from the apartment.

From start to finish Jim and Kathleen were very welcoming the kindest gestures were the offered us conplimentry finger food in there pub Jim met us on our walk and offered to give us a lift to our destination Kathleen had rang when we arrived and wished a very happy pleasant stay and ensured we stay warm and safe that kindness is what the world needs more of the value for money was second to none 😀 I recommend when booking your stay do it through galncys website personally Jim and Kathleen will support you and ensure you get what you are looking for 10 out 10 service and we have rebooked again the town is so clean safe and so welcoming 🙏

We had a fantastic stay in Carrick-on-Shannon! The accommodation was perfect – overlooking the beautiful River Shannon, with plenty of space for a group. The living area and kitchen were a great size, and the three big bedrooms could comfortably sleep up to 10 people. One room had its own en-suite, and there was also a separate shower room and toilet, which made things so convenient for a group. The house was full of mirrors, which was ideal for a group of girls getting ready, and it’s only about a 10-minute walk into the town centre – perfect location! Jim was a brilliant host – friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations. He was also very flexible with check-in and check-out times, which we really appreciated. As a lovely final touch, he even lent us his phone charger cable for our drive home when we realised we’d lost ours. Would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Carrick-on-Shannon, and we’d definitely stay again!

Very handy, few minutes walk into town. All you need there....supermarket, ATM, off licence, taxi service, bar serving food.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect for our visit. The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The town itself is charming, with a great mix of local character, good food, and plenty to explore. We’d happily come back again!

The host was great, we called him and he met us at the house and let us in. He give us some information about the area and the Wifi information. He was really helpful. The house was great and really suited our needs. After being in France for the previous week the washing machine and tumble dryer was a god send. Everything was great, we had two showers, which helps with a big family, and everyone got there own bedroom as there were loads of rooms and beds.

Nothing. This house was perfect for us. We have already told other people about it and recommend that they book here if they are ever in Carrick on Shannon. The location was also great with supermarkets nearby and a short walk to town.

We loved the riverside location & very central to the town with the very helpful & warm Jim if we any issues arose.

The location is great 5 min walk to the pubs. Jim was lovely and gave tips for the local area. Check in and check out was very easy.

House wasn’t cleaned appropriately. Rubbish found in rooms. Dirt on floors. Cleaning services should be improved.

We had a Fabulous trip down to Carrick on Shannon - 10 women just down for a weekend trip away for all the laughs and and great company. Jim was an exceptional host, met us after we got off the train and even gave us a lift back to the station when we were leaving. Couldn't fault the accommodation, 3 floors, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, so much room for the 10 of us. We had such a great time we'll be booking another trip in the future.

House was cold, large bedroom had no heating, 2 bedside lamps in room with no bulbs, showers were poor, no power and heads of shower were very small

The house was big, had everything we needed and an excellent location. Jim was brilliant, made sure we were looked after, gave advice on where to go and what to do. Great experience overall and will definitely stay there again.

Everything was spot on, accommodation was central to everything. Have to say best weekend.. we'll be back 🥴
