Chrisanns Paradise Suite by the Ocean - Apt#9

Security was available at my arrival excellent service showed me to my room (even though I’ve been here before) the apartment is just so clean and amazing and comfortable I would give it 6🌟out of 5 or 11🌟out of 10

If you are travelling to experience Jamaica the natural way (and not via the all inclusive resorts) then Chris sans apartment 9 has to be on your bucket list. Personally I’d like to keep this venue all to myself but I have to work for my vacations. You will not find a better host then dulcia I think she is cryptic because once she has spoken to you, she knows exactly what you need I van goon forever but another couple of points to further enhance your stay here 1. There are excellent restaurants across the road from you and the meals cooked up by chef are so tasty I on,y cooked breakfast for myself on the odd day I was lazy 2. There are excellent pool is all yours 3 the gazebo down by the river is gorgeous and the views well I’ll leave that to you 5. Housekeeper. A great source if you want information on what to do etc even though there are pamphlets on excursions to visit in the vicinity or further afield I cannot recommend this apartment and Chrissans as a whole any higher than ::::the highest:::: enjoy your vacation and thank you dulcia (again) for your hospitality warmth and accommodation I’ll be back very soon Charlie Ps the photos of the night sky above chrissans i took with my telescope the sky in the southern hemisphere is quite the light show

Our host , Dulcia, was very helpful throughout our stay and we really appreciated the welcome pack of breakfast food and coffee. The apartment was very comfortable, the bed very large and pillows very good. The kitchen was well equipped and had a large and very cold fridge freezer . The pool and the sea bathing pool were excellent even though the sea pool was a bit pebbly at the edges, needed shoes for getting in. The gardens and area around the pool were very well maintained. The staff were really helpful and the security excellent. The 'route taxis' were very good and cheap for getting in and out of Ocho Rios. If we came again I think we would hire a car as the route taxis were a lot less frequent at night. The Mahogany beach was good, affordable and had food.

There was a great 'locals' bar /restaurant opposite in walking distance and we found a few others. A list in the apartment for other eating places would have been helpful. ie we found the very good Rocks restaurant about 300 yards away by accident. Public beaches were all a drive away and we found the Sugar Pot beach expensive for both access and chair hire.

Endroit magnifique très bien entretenue avec une hôte qui s'occupe de nous à merveille. Petite baie ou allez nager et possibilité de faire du snorkeling. Très tranquille nous étions seuls la plupart du temps. Petit restaurant et épicerie local a 2minutes de marche qui nous ont très bien dépanné. Un endroit a couper le souffle hypnotisant qui nous a fait rêver les 3 journées que nous y avons séjourné. Notre hôte Dulcia, nous a également donné d'excellent conseil sur la Jamaïque. Près de la chute dunns et du blue hole on le recommande fortement. Je recommande fortement

While an older property, it was very charming. Apt 9 was a welcome riot of colours and comfy furniture. Everything a person would want was there. The property itself had a lovely pool area and an even better grass and private beach area. It was a very relaxed vibe where I could just chill.

Didn’t quite realise how far out of Ocho Rios it was - but that is my error. And in the end being out of the rat race was good.

The apartment I stayed in was superb Dulcia is the perfect host who thinks about everything you will need and provides it so it’s already there when you arrive. It is so comfortable here. I could move in and live with no Problem whatsoever If i could rate this property 20/10 even that does not do it justice. Try it for yourself and you will see what great value for money it affords I will be seeing you soon Dulcia An amazed and truly grateful customer

There was nothing too dislike. It’s a few kilometres from central ochi but is tranquil with local shops nearby(just over the road exactly)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this cozy apartment in Jamaica, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The place itself was incredibly comfortable and had a welcoming atmosphere that made it feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights was the excellent access to the beach. The apartment is just a few steps away from a beautiful lagoon that offers fantastic snorkeling spots. To make things even better, snorkeling gear was conveniently provided at the apartment, allowing us to fully enjoy the underwater wonders without any hassle. The host was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always available to answer questions and provide assistance whenever needed. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced our experience, making it a memorable vacation. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Jamaica!

It's not really something I didn't like about the place, just something to keep in mind. There is only one store nearby, so if you need a wider selection of groceries or other supplies, you'll need to travel to Ocho Rios to visit a larger market. This wasn't a major issue for us, but it's good to be aware.

This appartment is so perfect and very comfortable. There were very nice decorations which made us felt home and it's very clean. De bed felt very comfortable and is big. There are a few restaurants and a supermarket on the other side of the road..The location was perfect, approx 15 min from Ocho Rios. There is a swimmingpool and you can swim in the sea. We'll definitely come back if we are in Ocho Rios again. We had a nice contact with Dulcia, the owner of the appartment.

The proximity with the Ocean is so relaxing. I liked also the equipment in the apartment. Nothing was missing. The bed is very comfy, the AC works well and the water is hot. I liked also the host which is very kind, responsive and will always find a way to ease your stay.

The roof is leaking, the place is dirty. She changed my card $150.00 more and doesn't return my deposit!

It is very beautiful and well maintained. Our apt was adorable.

The stairs going up to the bedroom loft were very steep. You have to go down the stairs to go to the bathroom.

The property was clean and close to restaurants. If you want to take a taxi you can catch it outside of the Resort.

Love the property

A very quite and peaceful place only 10mins drive from Ocho Rios city centre (and close to Blue Hole too!). Great appartment on the first floor with cosy terrace with pool and seaview. We spent a fortnight here and really enjoyed ourselves. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The private beach was also great to have a swim or enjoy the sunrise/set. Everything was also very clean (gardener, pool man, and the cleaning ladies of course) There's a small supermarket and bar just across the street but in case you want more choice for yourself, visit Ocean Village supermarket in Ocho. Definitely a place to consider on my next travel to Jamaica! The peace we were looking for.

Everything is wonderful about this place

She sent door code ahead of time, and there was also someone at front desk who walked us to room to make sure we got in. The room was exactly as pictured and had instructions and housekeepers contact information. She was honest that most of the beach has washed away, but property is still beautiful, and great pool and great for photos.

We couldn't figure out how to turn on air-conditioning unit, ended up sleep downstairs

The stay was awesome. We had a great time at the beach which is on the property.

Cute (1980-90's style), colorful, clean, well furnished studio apartment with a small two seat patio. Don't expect a modern, luxury resort, stay here to experience real Jamaica. Quiet, non-touristy area. Couple restaurants and a small market across the street. Easy on-site parking. Good value.

No public beach in walking distance - access to water on-premise is good but it's just a small partially closed pool of water - safe for kids. Reggae beach is closed to the public despite what the description states. View of pool, not the ocean.

this is a brilliant spot. Great pool and an amazing little private beach. Good restaurant and bar over the road as well and a 10 min ride into Ochi. Communication with Dulcia and Simone was superb - easy check in and they gave us a late check out so we could enjoy our last day and have a final swim - thank you. This is also the perfect location for exploring Jamaica, which is such a beautiful country with amazing beaches, nature and culture. Highly recommend

Our stay at Chrisann's was fantastic. The apartment surpassed our expectations, with a lovely little kitchen stocked with coffee and snacks, as well as a living room that was very comfortable and generously-sized (with a large TV + Netflix!) The bed was very large and comfortable - perfect for two friends sharing and was as good as having separate beds. The aircon worked well and the apartment was very clean throughout. The balcony overlooked the swimming pool and whilst there is activity during the day, the noise levels weren't excessive and the resort vibe was relaxed and informal. Additionally, everyone who worked at the resort was very friendly. Our hostess was incredibly helpful and provided us with a lifeline in the form of a personal contact for airport pickup and taxi journeys, which was important to us since we were there to attend events over the course of three days. When we had trouble connecting to wi-fi, the issue was addressed immediately and the signal strength was excellent. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in Ocho Rios for either a short or long term stay - it definitely felt like a home away from home.

love the the cute set up the area, each suit is different and nice well set up for long or short stay. enjoy the beautiful-cove and nice services and will return again in the future.
