Unser schlimmster Aufenthalt auf dieser wunderschönen Insel. Wir mussten unsere Koffer selber in den 2.Stock tragen. Das Appartement war bis auf das Bett wirklich dreckig. Überall waren ganz kleine Ameisen, am Waschbecken konnten wir nichts liegen lassen weil sonst alles mit Armeisen bedeckt war. Beim öffnen vom Klodeckel war alles voller Armeisen, die Dusche dreckig,… Horror pur.

Der Strand ist dreckig,zum Baden nicht geeignet.Der Pool im Haus ist sehr klein und unter Dach.Wir sind ins Nachbarhotel an den Pool mit Sonnenliegen und Bar für 1000 LKR.

Reviewed Apr 1, 2026They were up and running at 1AM for our arrival, loved how entire staff was constantly smiling and wanting to help, very very good area, very safe. The Balcony is loveeeee, i sat there for hours reading my book.
Not enough drinking water, bathroom can be better very low pressure, majorly breakfast was cold but was good. There was huge huge variety.

The rooms need some maintenance. Especially the bathroom and AC units. (The one in the lounge didn’t really work at all). Also some extra towels would be great.

La habitación es amplia y cómoda, el balcón agradable y el baño y la cocina con lo necesario para pasar unos días. Ubicación perfecta y personal muy amable.
Tienes que pedir que te limpien y te saquen la basura ya que no lo hacen a diario. Había un bidón con agua filtrada vacío que no repusieron

Reviewed Feb 24, 2026Ein Bett Moskitonetz und top Klimaanlage auf dem Zimmer. Sind 4 Uhr am Morgen angekommen und Besitzer hat uns wie abgesprochen ein checken lassen. Frühstück war singhalesisch, aber vollkommen ausreichend und lecker für zusätzlich 2 € ca. Unter den Betten und alles wirklich schön sauber Bad war mit der offenen Dusche etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber für den Preis passabel. Was auch praktisch ist, war der Trinkwasser spender direkt auf dem Zimmer und gutes WLAN
Besitzer war kurz eingeschlafen, und deshalb standen wir 10 min draußen im Dunkeln aber hat sich entschuldigt und war nicht so schlimm.

I loved the balcony, watching the birds from my bed in the morning was so relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped, and I was able to cook fresh fish from the Fish market. The owner is very friendly and even woke up early to open the gate and help me with my luggage during check-out at 4 a.m. I truly appreciate the kindness and hospitality. Highly recommended

Reviewed Feb 11, 2026Friendly staff, located in a quiet neighbourhood, nice balcony and spacious apartment. A good breakfast. What more does one need? The location near the international airport and Negombo beach makes it a great stop before exploring Sri Lanka.
The apartment was large and could have fit a whole family. The living room wasn’t cleaned that well.

Reviewed Feb 9, 2026Een fijne accomodatie om onze eerste 2 overnachtingen na de lange vlucht door te brengen. We werden vriendelijke ontvangen met een sapje. De kamer was ruim, voorzien van alles en lag op een fijne locatie, ook wat leuke restaurants in de straat zelfs. We konden onze tuktuk veilig stallen achter een hek en de host was erg vriendelijk gedurende het verblijf!

Had trouble with the doorlock but we managed it and the place is secure. Apart from that nothing much to complaint. Parking is outside but owner will help to sort it out.

El alojamiento olía muchísimo a baygon (un veneno para insectos) en la habitación no podíamos estar por este motivo, nos daba muchísimo dolor de cabeza. En la cama se nos clavó una púa, y las sábanas tenían manchas. Tuvimos suerte de que a la 1 de la mañana nos fuimos porque salía nuestro vuelo. No lo recomiendo, teniendo en cuenta que en negombo muchas veces hay zona de paso, hay muchas otras opciones con precios muy competitivos sin necesidad de esto, fue el peor alojamiento en cuanto a trato, instalaciones y experiencia en Sri Lanka.

Reviewed Sep 30, 2025La habitación era grande. Cama cómoda. Mosquitera. Rincón cocina con microondas y nevera (genial para tener las bebidas frías, el resto no usamos). Nos pusieron pétalos de flores ya que era nuestra luna de miel. Personal amable. Desayuno bueno y abundante. Alberca donde el desayuno pero no la usamos (pequeñita). No muy lejos de la zona de restaurantes y playa.
Por decir algo que mejorar, no hay muchos enchufes en la habitación. No hay cerca de la cama pero nos apañamos. La ventana del baño no se podía cerrar y no tenía mosquitera y la persiana del baño estaba rota (no bajaba). Nada muy importante.

Reviewed May 15, 2025Such a beautiful and relaxing home. Great communication. Our apartment had everything you needed. Only a walk away from local shops, restaurants and bars. We also hired a tuktuk for a week and a good daily rate, which gave us the flexibility of travelling out of Negombo. All the staff and the owner were very helpful and polite.
The only thing that was disappointing. We booked this apartment as it had an outdoor swimming pool. Unfortunately, although there is still a pool, it is now covered over, so you couldn't enjoy the sunshine.
