De gastheer/ eigenaar Lucky is fantastisch, hij geeft je advies, tips, regelt tours en je kunt gezellige gesprekken hebben met hem. Ontbijt was ruim voldoende en heerlijk. Wij komen hier graag terug.

Secteur très calme et très propre, suffisamment loin pour ne pas être gêné par le bruit de la circulation sur le front de mer suffisamment proche pour arriver à la plage en 15 minutes , a pied. Quelques bons restaurants a proxilité. Piscine très agréable. Personnel au top et mention spéciale à la star local Micky

RAS le bord de mer de Négombo est vraiment sale (plastiques, déchets) mais bien sur, cela n'est pas dû à l'hotel.

De goede service en het lekkere ontbijt. De eigenaar was ook erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

スタッフが丁寧に掃除をされているのを見ました。朝ごはんもスリランカの朝食をいただくことができてとても美味しかったです。空港に出発するまで午後も部屋を使わせていただき助かりました。オーナーは英語の苦手な私たちのためにゆっくりと話してくださいました。

海外のホテルは何故かシャワーを使うと便器の方まで床が濡れてしまいます。

Lucky and all the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Accom was comfortable and the pool great to relax in.

Nos alojamos en Green Villa únicamente nuestra primera noche en Sri Lanka, ya que al día siguiente continuábamos nuestro viaje. El alojamiento es sencillo y correcto, con una buena ubicación. La habitación y las instalaciones cumplieron perfectamente su función para descansar después del viaje. El desayuno estaba bueno y fue un buen comienzo antes de continuar nuestra ruta por Sri Lanka

Aire acondicionado un poco ruidoso

La habitación es amplia y está todo muy limpio. El personal es muy atento y te ayuda en todo lo que necesitas. Cerca del centro y de restaurantes.

位置比较便利，房东夫妇很热情，小院很漂亮，我们入住的是双床房间，每张床都很大，早餐非常丰盛美味。

卫生间的门不能卡住，会自动关上，房间内空调无法吹到卫生间，在卫生间洗漱的时候非常热。

Mooie en schone kamers, heerlijk ontbijt. Via een bruggetje naast de accomodatie loop je een straat uit en sta je al in de straat met restaurantjes etc. En Luxman is een fijne host.

Het is een heerlijke plek. Goede locatie, op loopafstand naar leuke restaurantjes en het strand. Binnen 10 minuten met tuktuk in het centrum van Negombo. Het gezin is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er wordt lekker ontbijt geserveerd met huisgemaakte gebakjes. Het zwembad is fijn en je wordt wakker omringd door vogels en vlinders.

Een prettige uitvalsbasis om bij te komen (in de weelderige tuin met lekker zwembad) en Negombo te verkennen. Het ligt op loopafstand naar het strand. De eigenaar had een super leuke excursie voor ons geregeld naar de wetlands tegen een goede prijs. Goede bedden! Er wordt een gevarieerd ontbijt geserveerd. Kortom, een top locatie. Wij hebben ook lekker curry gegeten bij Tuk Tuk wine & dine om de hoek, die ook westerse opties aanbieden.

Nous étions en lit jumeaux et par exemple ma Prise ne fonctionnait pas et l’ampoule de ma lampe non plus Pas ´d’eau chaude au niveau de la douche tant le soir que le matin. Vu la chaleur dehors pas un soucis mais c’est à préciser Nous étions en rez de chaussée pas de voilage au fenêtre donc pas lumineux

Great location close to all restaurants close to the beach. We arrrived early and we could get earlier into our rooms. Thanks to Lucky. He also organized massages. Great host. Breakfast was great and nice pool. We highly recommend location.

We werden opgehaald op de luchthaven, het contact was meteen erg fijn. De kamers zijn netjes, super airco, heerlijk zwembad. Lief personeel en heel lekker ontbijt. Zeer hulpvaardig i.v.m. echt alles. Lucky en zijn vrouw : betrokken hosts!

We only stayed for 1 night in transit but we were delayed at the airport and the host waited up for us to arrive well after midnight. Brekky was great and the rooms were clean, comfortable and cool.

Erg goed ontbijt, dicht bij het strand, aardige host, fijn zwembadje en lekkere bedden en goede airconditioning.

A real oasis in Negombo, lovely pool set amid beautiful flowering shrubs and trees. Quiet airy rooms with comfortable beds, great breakfast (loved the coconut pancakes with cardamom). Ideal place to start your trip to Sri Lanka and it's Lucky who makes it all so fantastic. He's friendly and unbelievably helpful, also a mine of information about everything you need or want to know. He collected us from the airport, arranged a great Ayurvedic massage as well as a lovely bird watching boat trip on the lagoon, and drove us to Colombo station to catch the train to Galle. Highly recommend you stay at Green Wood Villa!

Ubicación cercana a la playa.

El encargado es una persona maleducada, chula e irrespetuosa. Se enfadó con nosotros ya que quisimos revisar el precio en rupias al pagar (el precio en Booking es en dólares). Además, nos obligó a pagarle un 3% de comisión por hacerlo a través del datáfono. Por otra parte, se negó a ofrecernos un desayuno para llevar al tener el vuelo de madrugada (algo incluido y pagado en la reserva de Booking). Se rió de nosotros diciéndonos que nos daba dos plátanos. Las habitaciones no están a la altura. El baño queda encharcado durante todo el día cuando te duchas porque el suelo no está nivelado en dirección al desagüe. Y para colmo, hay un vecino que, las dos noches que estuvimos, tenía la música muy alta y no dejaba dormir. Y no es una excepción, pues lo he leído en otros comentarios. En definitiva un alojamiento muy caro para el servicio e instalaciones que ofrecen regentado por una persona grosera.

L'absence de fenêtre dans la chambre , la seule fenêtre était dans la salle de bain avec un vis à vis. La disposition de la douche : les toilettes sont mouillés si quelqu'un se douche.

L'accueil de ce couple était parfait, nous avons adoré le petit déjeuner, la piscine, tout ...

Small boutique hotel. Ideal for a short 1-2 day stay on arrival or just before departure. The airport is just 15mins away. We had a late flight and the hotel couldn't give the room but offered us another room to have a shower. A few minutes walk to the beach and all the restaurants and bars.

Very friendly host. Perfect pool. Tasty breakfast. Would like to return in the future!

Very welcoming staff, exceptionally cleaning, nice garden.

We hadden een comfortabele en schone kamer. Het zwembad was heerlijk warm. De douche in de kamer was heel fijn en warm. Airco en ventilator werkten goed om het aangenaam te maken, want het was buiten erg warm. Eigenaar en zijn vrouw waren erg vriendelijk en gaven goede tips. Het hotel ligt heerlijk buiten de drukte en heeft een groene tuin waar je veel vogels hoort. Je kan via het bruggetje binnen 10 minuten naar de straat met winkeltjes en restaurants lopen. Wij vonden Yaaga backyard dining een heerlijk restaurant om 's avonds te eten.

We had a wonderful stay at the Green Wood Villa. The gardens were gorgeous. The room was comfortable and clean. The pool was so refreshing after a hot day of walking. And the owners were so hospitable. They provided us with so much information and were friendly and warm. Breakfast was delicious too. We would recommend this to everybody.

We had a great one night stay! We arrived at 1am and the host had kindly waited up for us. The room was clean and well air conditioned and an early morning dip in the pool was exactly what we needed to get over the jet lag. There are plenty of nice cafes around and it’s a very quick walk to the beach front.

Wonderful stay, albeit short. Organised airport pick up and Lucky was so patient. Big storm when I flew in and luggage took 2 hrs to be delivered to belt. Can’t thank him enough for his patience, the airport was crazy that night. The room was exactly as the pics. B/fast served by Lakshmi was perfect, the steam cake was my favourite. The pool looked very inviting, unfortunately I had no time to use it.

The breakfast was excellent with home made Sri Lankan treats.

Un petit établissement paisible au bout d'une impasse mais à quelques minutes à pied de la rue qui longe la mer, donc de la plage grâce à un pont piéton. L'accueil est chaleureux, les propriétaires de bon conseil. De plus, ils gardent vos bagages et vous laissent l'accès à la piscine en cas de vol retour tardif. De nombreux restaurants et boutiques dans les environs. Allez-y sans hésiter !

Great place, great people

Very happy with our stay. Comfy beds were just what we needed after a long journey! The host was very helpful, helping with our onward journey. The pool was lovely to cool down and the breakfast was very nice.

Clean and comfortable facilities!! The owners were lovely and provided amazing breakfast including so Sri Lankan delicacies (the coconut pancakes were the best!) The pool and garden area was beautifully designed and the location was in a nice quiet area! Walking distance to the beach and the Main Street with all the restaurants and shops. They helped organise our airport pick-up and transfer to Colombo which made it very worry free for us! Will definitely stay here again next time I visit Negombo!

We stayed for only one night, our last on a five week trip in Sri Lanka, but could happily have stayed a few nights there. It was a great place, a calm oasis only a few hundred metres from Negombo beach and a wide choice of restaurants. Lucky and his family are great hosts. They kindly let us leave our bags there after checkout and to sit in the garden at the end of the afternoon before we went to the airport. The room was comfortable and the shower was the best we had on our entire trip with the winning combo of hot water and good pressure 🤗 The breakfast was also very nice. The swimming pool is nice for a dip. We also went to the spa recommended by and arranged for us by Lucky for a massage, which was excellent and reasonably priced.
