Die Lage im Zentrum, die Raumaufteilung, die Ausstattung, eine schöne Terrasse. Die Badezimmer waren modern und in Ordnung, Küche sauber und funktional.

Die Unterkunft liegt über einer Kneipe, die vor allem am Wochenende bis tief in die Nacht laute Musik gespielt hat. Ohropax unentbehrlich. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber hätte besser sein können: Nach einem freundlichen Empfang wurde auf Nachfragen nicht mehr reagiert. Die schmalen und steilen Treppen könnten ein Problem für ältere Gäste darstellen.

Location, and comfort for my family of 4.

The noise every evening from the restaurants below the apartment. With the exception of one night out of our 6 night stay it didn’t quiet down until 1 am. The host supplied ear plugs. It was VERY NOISY. Also there was no where to empty trash without contacting the host to empty for us ass all the dumpsters/trash outside needed a code to empty our trash.

The location was excellent. The property was comfortable and well equipped.

There could be better lighting.

De gastheren hebben aan alles gedacht. Priscilla is erg aardig, Paul is erg grappig. Ze zijn behulpzaam en echt aardige mensen. A házigazdák mindenre gondoltak. Priscilla nagyon kedves, Paul pedig nagyon vicces. Segítőkészek és igazán kedves emberek

The people are really friendly and helpful! The apartment was super clean and well equipped. The location is central close to restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and bus station.

Better water pressure

Excellent location, easy access to garage. Food choices all over the place. Local supplies easy to find. Train station access short walk. This location had all that one needs for the stay and nothing negative to say....choose this place and you wont be disapointed.

The stairs at the entrance of the property and up to the attic bedroom were fine for me but not suitable for those with reduced mobility

Wonderful location - right in the middle of Haarlem with wonderful views of the church. Beautifully decorated and many small touches made it feel like a home away from home. The hosts were responsive and friendly - meeting us to assist with checking and responding quickly to any questions we had. Haarlem was a wonderful place to stay - close enough to explore Amsterdam, but much more peaceful.

It was quite noisy at night. This is not the fault of the property or hosts, but rather the nature of being in such a wonderful central location above restaurants. The hosts kindly provide ear plugs for use when sleeping.

Fabulous location and the small touches and decor made it feel like home from home

The location of the apartment was superb. It cant be any more into the center than this. The apartment was very cosy and comfortable.

Great apartment in a very central location, friendly and helpful hosts and nice extras provided. Perfect for exploring both Haarlem and Amsterdam.

Because of the very central location there was late night noise from the nearby bars/clubs so we needed to use the ear plugs provided, this was the only downside of our stay.

Paul was a very gracious host. He nicely offered to pick us up at the train station and helped to carry our bags up the stairs. He provided important info about local sites and conveniences. The apartment was quiet, spotless and nicely appointed. The location was amazing! Right in the historic area with lots of restaurants and shops and with a view to the action around the Grote Church.

The location was amazing. Steps from Centraal Square, and only a short walk to the train station. It was not noisy at all, despite the fact that there are tons of great restaurants nearby packed with patrons. Our hosts made us feel at home, like one of the family! A very spacious place with a nice kitchenette including everything one needs for quick meals. The upstairs bedroom with the half bathroom was a lovely.

The only negative thing was the stairs. Our host Paul helped us with our luggage which was very kind and helpful. The circular stair to get to the apartment from the ground floor was tight with suitcases, and as our group isn't young it would have been more challenging without his help. The stairs weren't bad - unless you are an older person lugging suitcases!

Noise from bars below a little noisy on Fridays and Saturdays but in my opinion that added to the charm of the apartment

Paul and Priscilla are among the best hosts we've ever met. They are very warm, friendly, helpful and keep good communication with us before and during our stay in Haarlem. A list of useful information was provided upon our arrival. In the middle of our stay, they came to change the sheets and clear the garbage. When we returned to the apartment that night, we were so surprised to find the apartment spotless and tidy. They even washed the dishes we left after breakfast which was supposed to be our own job! They also helped us take the luggage up / down the spiral stairs when checked in and checked out. The apartment, decorated with Priscilla's paintings, was cozy and comfortable. It's especially a bonus to have 2 toilets in the apartment which is extremely important for a group of 4 people. The kitchen is fully equipped and making dinners is not a problem. Beds are comfortable and supply of towels and toilet paper are more than enough. All in all, we are extremely satisfied with our stay in City Attic Haarlem and strong recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam and Haarlem.

Hard to fault for anyone who is able to climb the spiral staircase to the Attic

Host collected us from the station, told us a bit about Haarlem, was very welcoming, and carried our bags up the spiral staircase. Apartment was lovely and very central. Haarlem a great place to stay.

The host wanted to charge us extra because he assumed we would be sharing a bed. However if we booked a two bedroom apartment we are entitled to use both bedrooms. We should not have to explain our sleeping arrangements. Be aware of a narrow spiral staircase, though I think this is probably the case in a lot of aparmments.

Perfect location! The apartment was clean and adorable with a lovely private terrace. Wonderful!

We got very lucky with our host being a food expert and recommending some fantastic places to eat. Our location was ideally in the centre of Haarlem by the venue of our conferences, the space was beautifully presented and very welcoming. 10/10 for bed comfort from me. Thank you Paul! Looking forward to staying again.

The apartment, accommodations and host are great. The owner is very attentive and responsive. Haarlem's old center has limited vehicle access but the walk from the train terminal is easy and straightforward. Amsterdam Centraal Station is only 15 minutes from Haarlem by train, and Amsterdam's new Metro makes short work of local transport once you're there. The only caveat is one that the owner has no control over: the apartment is on a floor above a popular restaurant (with other restaurants on each side), which makes the square loud on Friday and Saturday evening. But the apartment windows are multi-pane and closing them is very effective to reduce the noise.

Very nicely maintained property. Welcoming hosts. Comfortable bed. The location is optimal walking distance to everything you need in Haarlem. It was a very good choice.

Upon arrival we learned that there is an additional fee to be paid if you booked for two individuals but still plan to use both beds. We had to pay that additional cost in cash on checkout. The owner explained this is because booking.com does not accurately have that information listed when you are booking, so this is more of a suggestion for booking.com than the owner, for purposes of consistency and ease of payment please update site info accordingly

Location dead central, practically on top of public car park. Two bedrooms, each with wc. Small outside terrace. Hosts friendly and helpful.

The apartment is comfortable and it has a nice interior art style, it is close to the public transport options. Feels nice to stay there through our vacation.

The bed was very comfortable. The shower was perfect in size and functionality. The television is on a nice wall mounted arm and has miracast capabilities. All facilities were sufficient. The supermarket and railway station are within comfortable walking distance. Apartment comes with plenty of supplies and tools.

Small kitchen, it was hard to properly do the dishes and prepare food. The toilet and bathroom are separated and you cannot flush even toilet paper down it for some reason. Occasionally, there is a weird sewage smell that overwhelms the building but it fades away after 30m to an hour.

Lovely comfy apartment in a great location. Lots of great design touches make it a great place to stay. Super host made us feel very welcome.
