Gezellig Cottage Markdal met gratis fietsen

Ligging naast het prachtige Mastbos en de fietsen die je kan gebruiken om naar het centrum van breda te gaan.

We moesten wel even vragen om de banden op te pompen, zadels wat aan te passen van de fietsen… ook de remmen waren niet altijd goed in orde. Als je met een groep logeert, is het feit dat er maar 1 toilet is - en deze bevind zich in de badkamer- wel een minpuntje.

Uitgebreid ontbijt, de gastvrijheid, goede bedden, mooie natuurgebied wat er kortbij ligt.

De B&B was op alle vlakken perfect, het ontbrak me aan niets. Gastheer en gastvrouw zijn erg vriendelijk en doen hun uiterste best om het de gasten naar de zin te maken. Ik kom er graag nog eens terug.

De locatie was voortreffelijk, zó de natuur in en het centrum van Breda slechts een klein kwartiertje fietsen. Heerlijke bedden, goeie douche en super verzorgd ontbijt. Lieve attente gastvrouw, had zowaar slingers opgehangen nadat ik had vertelt dat ik jarig was… zo lief!

Aardige gastheer, heel behulpzaam. Alles goed verzorgd. Ontbijt was top!

Het was way warm op de slaapkamer, maar beneden was het lekker vertoeven met de airco.

Het was helemaal naar wens. Prima locatie met gratis leenfiets. Fijne douche. Lekker, uitgebreid ontbijt. Contact met de eigenaren voorafgaand aan het bezoek verliep ook soepel.

Dichtbij het bos en bij de stad, fijne airco en werkelijk alles staat in het appartement. Erg uitgebreid ontbijt (tegen betaling) en vriendelijke, behulpzame hosts!

Het was 37 graden toen wij er waren. Een airco boven op de slaapkamers was helemaal perfect geweest.

Super lieve mensen, fantastisch ontbijt, prachtige locatie en super fijn dat je fietsen kan pakken. Je bent zo in Breda.

Hosts were very helpful; breakfast was very good; location was ideal.

There is a little ambiguity on the Booking.com page where one reading had us believing that there was a sofa bed in the lounge area. There wasn't.

Totul a fost perfect

Eine sehr schöne, sehr saubere Ferienwohnung. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns super wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne mal wieder!

Top verblijf gehad, veel te kort voor 1 nachtje! Super gezellige en leuk ingerichte cottage. Ik was maar alleen, maar het is ook zeer perfect voor groepen. Nanny en Erik zijn zeer behulpzaam en ze bieden gratis fietsen aan. Ze hebben er 10. Dus keuze genoeg! Toen ik aankwam hadden ze de pelletkachel al aangedaan. Lekker warm binnen! Er zijn ook genoeg restaurants in de buurt. Ik was met de fiets gaan eten bij een Italiaan in de buurt. Nanny had de reservering gemaakt. Erg attent! Ook lekker geslapen. Buiten is het heerlijk rustig. Ik hoorde ook nog een koekoek😊. Als ik weer in Breda moet zijn voor business kom ik zeker terug! Super bedankt alvast

Mooie plek, hele vriendelijke mensen erg fijn dat er fietsen ter beschikking waren. Goed en uitgebreid ontbijt.

We vonden de prijs kwaliteitverhouding wat tegenvallen.

Het was gewoon allemaal goed en zeer vriendelijke eigenaren. We gingen op de dag weg maar mochten die dag toch nog gewoon gebruik maken van de fietsen. En we kregen ook nog leuke ideeën voor dagtripjes.

De gastvrouw was vriendelijk en ontzettend gastvrij. ik voelde me meer dan welkom. het ontbijt is fantastisch verzorgd. heerlijk geslapen in alle rust. en de wandelingen in het markdal waren geweldig!

Comfort van de bedden en de ruime badkamer. Sfeervolle woonkamer. Centrum van Breda goed te bereiken op de fiets (beschikbaar bij B&b), met mooie fietsroute. Dichtbij het Markdal (leuk om met de hond te wandelen). Prettig contact met de eigenaren!

De keuken is niet zo groot, dus moesten we wat improviseren. Maar voor die paar dagen vonden wij dat helemaal prima!

Voelde meteen als een "thuis". Voor onze hond was het heerlijk om meteen de natuur in te kunnen lopen. De gratis fietsen gaven je veel bewegingsvrijheid om de omgeving te ontdekken. Echt een heerlijke tijd gehad, waarvoor dank.

Het is een prima accommodatie op een prachtige locatie. De pelletkachel gaf een heerlijke warmte aan het ruime appartement. Alles is aanwezig voor een aangenaam verblijf. Zeker een aanrader om nog eens terug te komen.

Het elektrisch kookfornuis doet niet veel, de oven daarentegen werkt uitstekend. Verder zou ik de trap voorzien van antislip strips om de veiligheid te verhogen.

De gezelligheid, knusheid, faciliteiten, fietsen en vooral ook heerlijke bedden. Erik was geweldig. Bracht ons zelfs nog naar de stad. Echt top!!!! Dit is een plekje waar je waar krijgt voor je geld.

Het huis is heel sfeervol, Nancy en Erik heel aardig. De locatie is prima.

Voor oudere mensen vind ik het een nadeel dat er boven geen toilet is.

Huiselijke sfeer

Het is een heel knus en fijn huis met alle benodigde voorzieningen. Vooral de fietsen die je kunt gebruiken waren erg fijn. Ook kregen we korting, omdat 1 van onze vriendinnen niet meer mee kon gaan. Erg vriendelijke eigenaren!

Zeer knusse, schone en comfortabele cottage. Goed bed. Veel faciliteiten aanwezig. Gratis te gebruiken fiets erg handig. Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst. Aanrader!

Alles beviel. Wel wat aan de rand van de stad maar in een zeer pittoreske buurt met voldoende levendigheid en ook veel groen.

Eigenaar kwam 2 x het appartement binnen terwijl mijn dochter ook in het appartement was( dat wist hij niet)

Een douche/wc is eigenlijk wat weinig als je met meer dan vier volwassenen bent. Maar dat wisten we vooraf.

we were four motorcycle travellers and arrived after a very very windy and wet four hour ride. I'd dropped my bike at the raised street entrance (more later) but as we arrived Erik met us at the door and immediately said he accepted the fact that we were literally soaked through and just asked us to keep dirt to the minimum but knew that it was going to be tough to keep everything dry. He showed us around the house and started the pellet burning stove, and put on a pot of coffee. He recommended restaurants nearby in walking distance. He also moved the garden furniture so that we could leave our motorcycles close. It was raining, we definitely wouldn't be using it. Our breakfast the next morning was amazing, pastries and bread (freshly baked) several jams, peanut butter, cereals, yogurt, fruit, meats, cheese, nuts, freshly squeezed orange, various coffees and brought more fresh 20 minutes later. As mentioned above I dropped my motorcycle on the raised street entrance, this resulted in snapping my clutch lever. The next morning we were going off to source a replacement in Breda, we were going to use the cycles that are available however Erik took one of our party to the identified shop, no success but they recommended another one and made a call in advance. Erik then took us to the new shop, translated the problem and couldn't have been more helpful. I'm sure at the very least we'd have taken all day without his help if we'd have been successful at all. Very very appreciative of the welcome, the care and the extreme help we were given. We were able to continue our journey and tour. Absolutely recommend the cottage, the facilities were everything you could need and more besides, the beds were comfortable and clean, the bathroom was clean and shower gels were provided, towels were beautifully clean and soft an all round great experience and booking, at a very good value price.

Our group of 4 had a wonderful stay here! The apartment was clean and quiet - and it had everything we needed. The fireplace was a nice touch too! The owners were lovely and explained everything to us upon arrival. Highly recommended!

Incredibly cozy and comfortable home. everything in the house is thought out and organized for a comfortable stay. very comfortable mattresses and blankets. Very nice owner of the house. Even a bouquet of beautiful fresh flowers was prepared for us! 🥰🤗

Cleane and nice

Great place in a quiet area. We had a lovely family vacation. The host was very kind and pleasant, she even got a smaller bikes especially for the kids :) Breakfast was great.

Small house competed with everything you could ever need. Located near a river and a nice (dog) walking area. Not too far from restaurants

It’s a bit cluttered.

The property was very clean and fully equipped for a pleasant stay. The host was very amiable.

Lovely modern comfortable large space with all facilities needed and courtyard to the front with seating area. Parking is available just up the road. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. There is a bus route on the main road less than 5 minutes away which goes into the centre of Breda. We would definitely return and use the bikes to do the route to Belgium along the river which they recommended.

Very friendly and kind hosts. Lovely house,clean and cosy. Top location. He drive me to station with his car .it was very kind of him.

Location is not super easy to reach by car, but it's a very nice location once you're there, and there's enough parking space. Super nice bathroom, comfortable bedding, ample linnen and bathrobes to go round. Place has loads of reading material and games, including games for the younger ones. The wood burner adds a nice and cozy atmosphere, both in the evening and early morning.

Upper floor is a bit squeaky, but you might account this to atmosphere. Kitchen needs an update, especially the electric hob, though this wasn't a big issue for me personally. That's about it. It's probably best to visit with a group of people because then price-per-person reduces drastically.

The host met us and showed us around, he was charming and lovely.
