A great apartment just along the road from the cheese market area, yet very quiet with an incredibly thoughtful host. There was a fabulous welcome pack with wine and chocolates, and many useful everyday consumables in case you have forgotten anything. As well as essentials such as washing up liquid. Whilst this is a studio apartment, there was plenty of room with lounge area, kitchen area and nice breakfast bar. There is a small bunk room too which was useful to put our luggage in.

We liked everything.

Het verblijf was perfect. Comfortabel. Alles was aanwezig. Heerlijk bed, erg schoon. Locatie midden in het centrum. Gastvrije hostes. Snelle en goede communicatie.

Ruimte was wel redelijk klein maar we hadden ook niet meer nodig. Geen minpunten

Casetta semplice e carina, al piano terra, nel centro di Alkmaar. Buono il letto, molto fornita la cucina, bagno grande e completo, tutto pulito.

Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sauber und gemütlich! Der Käsekeller neben dem Bett ein Highlight! Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und es gab als Gastgeschenk gab es unter andere einen Käse, der unglaublich lecker war. Vielen Dank für alles. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit

Centraal gelegen, dichtbij het gezellige, sfeervolle centrum van Alkmaar. Goede bedden en een fijne douche. De ontvangst was perfect met een fraai welkomstpakket. Het appartement was groot genoeg voor twee personen en geweldig ingericht, echt een fantastisch verblijf met veel ‘reuring’ op het water.

Prettige ruimte en werkelijk alles aanwezig. Ook heel attend wat verschillende lekkere spullen klaar gezet! Prima bed en perfecte locatie

Het raam is voor een parkeerterrein dus je zat wel heel erg "te koop". Rolgordijn moest dus constant dicht en we vonden het ook wat eng om het raam open te zetten in de nacht.

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung in einer optimalen Lage, super ausgestattet und gemütlich.

Posizione ottima , vicinissimo al centro e stazione raggiungibile a piedi. L'appartamento pulito e dotato di tutto il necessario. L'host ci ha fornito tutto quello che gli avevamo chiesto per il bambino e ci ha fatto trovare un regalo di benvenuto molto apprezzato

Alles war super, es gab sogar ein Berüssungsgeschenk und das Parken im Parkhaus war kostenlos wenn man nur einmal ausfährt.

Allereerst is de communicatie met de host perfect, duidelijk en accuraat. Het appartement is volledig, super schoon en netjes. Er staat een prachtig welkomspakket voor je klaar. Werkelijk aan alles is gedacht. Daar bovenop nog de uitrijkaart voor de parkeergarage. Lokatie is fantastisch; je loopt zo de stad in. Kortom ga hier verblijven als je in Alkmaar bent. Het is niet groot maar heel volledig en compact.

Every thing is there whatever is required for short stay, room was small but its fine for a couple, not for families. Host is responsive.

I found ants and spider in comforter/bedsheet and i immediately sent video to host, i do not appreciate her response which was “i will check after your stay finished” my stay was 3 night so whats is the use if action will be taken when my stay finished? I requested host to send me picture of front door and safe box so i can find out easily once i reach because its not a hotel, its a private apartment which means some times you struggle to find out place but she said she cant due to security reasons, not sure what security reasons she was referering to but i got a picture from google. Another thing i dont like, i requested for cleaning on my 3rd day because we have kids but host has refused and said she will arrange cleaning once i left. So there is no cleaning every day and i think it is one of the reasons of ants & spider.

Alkmaar je krásné město plné pohodových lidí, mezi které patří i skvělá paní Anjo. V pokoji nám byla trochu zima, což vyřešila okamžitě, na uvítanou nám připravila skvělý sýr, oříšky, čokolády, ovoce a víno, v pokoji je dostatečná zásoba kávy, čajů (a bonbónů, což ocenil náš junior). Navíc vstřícně poradila s parkováním. Pokud do Alkmaaru zamíříte, určitě využijte možnost zakoupit si výjezdový lístek v místě ubytování, ušetříte hodně eur:)

Locatie was top! De ruimte was groot, ruime badkamer, goede douche. Er stond een leuk welkomst pakket bij aankomst.Het is dichtbij parkeergarage en de uitrijkaart was een mooie service van de B&B. Eigenaresse was erg vriendelijk in het app contact.

Het meubilair zat niet echt lekker. Schoonmaak had beter gekund. Het is gehorig en erg licht om in te slapen.

This property is on the canal and good walking distance from everything. They have thought of everything one might need even down to little clip on lights if one wanted to read into the night.

The neighbours are a bit noisy at times

Na een vriendelijke communicatie over de verschillende parkeergelegenheden, routebeschrijving en aankomsttijd, aan gekomen bij het appartement. Daar werden wij blij verrast met een welkomstpakket ( flesje wijn, stukje kaas en diverse andere lekkere dingen) en een uitrijkaart voor de parkeergarage. Het appartement is prachtig en comfortabel. We hebben heerlijk geslapen in prima bedden. De locatie ligt in een rustige wijk, maar op loopafstand in het centrum. Wij komen graag terug, als we weer in Alkmaar zijn.

Er viel niets tegen, alleen staat er in de beschrijving dat er een oven was ( maar er was een magnetron/grill), dus moesten wij improviseren met onze afbakbroodjes 😅 Ze gaan trouwens ook goed in de broodrooster.

It would be good to change the pans. Steel pans might be more useful than Teflon pans.

Es war sehr gut ausgestattet. Und hat eine gute Lage.

I can't say enough. Clean, well appointed with attention to detail. I would definitely return, perfect for a single traveler.

Appartement met alles wat je nodig hebt. Keukenuitrusting perfect, incl kleine vaatwasser, maar ook bv de vaatwasblokjes, afwasmiddel , koffiecups, thee, suiker, melkcupjes. Bovendien stond er een welkomstpakketje klaar, met lekkernijen. Heel compleet was alles, ook in de badkamer. De locatie was op loopafstand van het centrum, rustige buurt. De host hebben we niet gezien, maar was bereikbaar via whatsapp. Wij vonden het verblijf erg fijn.

De blauwe stoeltjes zitten niet lekker, de zitting voelt ‘doorgezakt’. Verder is het uitzicht op de parkeerplaats, wij vonden dat niet erg.

We loved the apartment. Very nice and cozy, has everything one might need to short or long stay. The cheese and wine cellar view adds uniqueness. The bed was very comfortable, the apartment was very clear and well maintained, heating was great, location was nice and quiet but close to the center. We would love to go back and stay longer!

Alles, mooi schoon appartement! Wijn, kaas en chocolade als ontvangst Parkeerkaart voor de parkeergarage, centrum om de hoek. Heerlijk bed.

Compleet en gezellig ingericht. Super schoon. Alles aanwezig om zelf te koken. Rustig gelegen, dicht bij het centrum.

Bardzo przyjemny apartament. Lokalizacja cudowna, nad kanalem i blisko deptaka. Duzym atutem jest bezplatny parking niemal pod samymi drzwiami apartamentu. Mieszkanko z niesamowitym klimatem. Mily gest od gospodarzy na powitanie-wino, ser holenderski i troche słodkości. Pelna 10👍

Goede ligging in het centrum van Alkmaar. Perfect dat er een uitrijkaart was voor de parkeergarage (plm 500m lopen). Top het welkomstpakket met wat eten en drinken.

Eigenlijk niks. Als ik al iets moet noemen dat het het enigzins gehorig was als de bovenburen binnenkwamen.

Heel compleet, hartelijk ontvangst en een lief welkoms pakket!!

De locatie was perfect bij het historische centrum. Keukentje was goed uitgerust.

Ventilatie in douche/sanitaire ruimte was matig

Geweldige locatie. Mooi. Allemaal lieve kleinigheidjes en veel toiletartikelen. De eigenaren hadden wijn kaas en snacks neergezet, zo ontzettend lief!

De gordijnen. Het is aan de straat dus iedereen kan naar binnen kijken. Er zijn wel rolgordijnen maar dan heb je gelijk geen daglicht meer. Extra vitrage zou fijn zijn.

The bed was very comfy! The facilities were clean and tidy. We also especially loved the wine and cheese which was very much appreciated after facing some delays with the trains. The host and cleaner were both really helpful.

Locatie is fantastisch, midden in het centrum. We werden zeer gastvrij verwelkomt met een flesje wijn en stukje lekkere kaas, fruit en bonbons!

Een zeer fijn en goed uitgerust appartement. Het ontbreekt je werkelijk aan niets. Het fietsenhok was ook ideaal voor mij om fiets te stallen. Je wandelt zo het centrum in. Een lekker bed maakt het compleet.

Er wonen ook nog mensen boven daar kun je wat last van hebben.

Wat een fijn appartement is dit! Klein, maar alles wat je nodig hebt is er en meer. Het welkom was hartelijk met allemaal lekkere dingetjes en wijn! Het bed was heerlijk en de douche ook. De kaas kelder is een leuke extra. Wij hebben er geen genoten.

Geen tegenvallers voor ons gelukkig.

De ligging midden in het centrum, (veel leuke dingen te doen op loopafstand), de attenties (wijntje, zoutje, chocolaatje, kaasje) bij binnenkomst, de service (snel contact via app, uitrijkaart parkeergarage, sleutelkastje) de voorzieningen van alle gemakken voorzien (thee/koffie, vaatwasser, kookplaatje, waterkoker, broodrooster, combi oven) goed bed, genoeg ruimte voor 2 en Alkmaar zelf!! Prachtige stad!

Niet goed kunnen ventileren in de badkamer, het ontbreken van gebruiksaanwijzingen oven en vaatwasser, soms beetje gehorig wb geluid van (boven)buren

Very cozy apartment, has everything you need, ideal location.

This is the type of property where the host and all the little extra's make all the difference. The location is excellent, though parking at the front door can be a challenge. The parking garage is 400 meters away so it was no issue for me. The room was clean, tidy and well maintained. Upon my arrival there was a bottle of red wine, some nuts & fruits and a block of cheese, together with a parking voucher for the parking garage for free exit. I was very much surprised with these kind of extras. They absolutely enhance the experience! When I opened the fridge there was a second bottle of wine! And that was a nice one. :) Thank you for a pleasant stay!

When I tried parking at the front door all spaces were taken, thus I had to resort to the parking garage 400m down the road. Being all one-way traffic I had to drive for another 15 minutes ~10km to reach the carpark again. The upstairs neighbors (or owners?) were up late (or toilet breaks?) and I could hear all their footsteps, waking me a couple of times during the night.

Lokatie is echt top. Na een kleine tip dat ik als echte thee drinker een paar theeglazen " miste" hing er bij terugkomst een tasje met glazen aan de deur ! Dat is echte service! Wat een lieve mensen.

Mycket fräscht och rent! Välkomnande, med både vin och ost, små schampo- och tvålflaskor, lotioner mm. När vi behövde hjälp med att få fram rätt nycklar, när vi kom, ringde jag värdinnan och hon kom direkt och hjälpte till.

Good location a short distance from the historic town centre and within walking distance of the train/bus station. Easy access. Quiet and clean. Generous welcoming pack. Well equipped, though we didn't find bowls for our breakfast cereal. The good pub/restaurant nearby on the corner of the main road, by the river/park, is worth a visit. We enjoyed our stay.

This may be a matter of translation, but our accommodation was a single room, not a single room apartment. Everything was in that single room with a corner divided off for the toilet/shower. In England this would be described as a bedsitter. There was not much space for two people and we decided not to cook our evening meals. It is important to look carefully at the photographs, some of which are of the adjacent two bedroomed accommodation. That said there was nothing wrong with the room we stayed in other than we felt it was expensive for its size.

Sehr sauberes und gut ausgestattetes Appartement in sehr zentraler Lage. Es hat uns sehr gefallen!

Einziger Nachteil ist, dass es keinen eigenen Parkplatz bei der Unterkunft gibt.

Sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet, sehr zentral gelegen, freundlicher Empfang mit Wein, Käse und mehr. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Die Lage direkt am Parkplatz sorgt für Geräusche, zumal Fenster nur auf der Seite sind.

Super ! Appartement très bien situé , propre , joliment décoré , confortable et bien équipé. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié le panier garni offert. Anjo a été très sympathique et a su répondre à toutes nos interrogations. Nous avons vraiment adoré visiter Alkmaar , nous reviendrons !

Location was perfect and the neighbourhood was lovely and lively. There were so many good restaurants and cafes close by.

It had everything u need to hav a comfortable stay complete with a well equipped kitchenette! The complimentary cheese, wine, chocolates, biscuits n coffee were a great surprise! Luv it. Very near to the cheese market n activities in the old town. Anjo was a great host. Would definitely be back or recommend it to others.

As I stayed for 4 days, except for the requested change of towels, the rooms were not made up. Would be good if it was cleaned up daily or so, than it would have been perfect. Not a very big issue for me though. Thanks again Anjo.

Gorgeous and cosy little apartment with an attentive host. All of the equipment needed for our 4 night stay and a very generous welcome package. Alkmaar is a beautiful little town, convenient for Amsterdam and a delightful place to stay, with a good quality of life and all the shops and restaurants you could possibly need within a very short walk.

The host was extremely helpful and responsive. The room was as exactly as described and very comfortable bed. I loved having the cheese cellar there, made me popular on my Instagram! THE welcome package foods, coffee and wine were really useful to me as I had a busy schedule and could have quick breakfast in the morning, relax with wine in the evening without buying supplies. I loved walking from this apartment to all sites in the city - relaxing and beautiful views everywhere!

There was a bit of voices heard rom upstairs or from the parking lot, but it was quite tolerable.

We stayed at one of the appartments, 30B, the bigger one. It was really nice. Comfy bed, nice living room area, kitchen with all important necessities. Also the bathroom offered some nice small items like body lotion, shower gel and shampoo. There is also a hairblower. The location is also good. Really close to the old town of Alkmaar and the Kaasemarkt. We arrived by train, meaning we had to walk from the Alkmaar Stationsweg train station to the apartment for about 20min. Communication with the owner also worked effortlessly.

We liked everything. It was a cool apartment on a hot summer weekend. Maybe, but of course we do not know, maybe the apartment is a bit cool during winter time.

Alkmaar is beautiful town with a great old town, canals, bars and restaurants. We based ourselves in Alkmaar for a visit to Amsterdam and came back to Alkmaar each evening .
